Is the Hot Desking feature an Add In? I do not see that as an option with MVP system.

Has anyone else noticed DND (Do Not Disturb) status is not working as it used to?How it used to work: I would change my status right below my profile picture to Do not disturb, and all my calls would be delivered to my Voice Mail.How it works now: DND does not seem to mean anything if chosen from the profile picture. Instead I have to go to Settings > Phone > Call rules and voicemail. If I want to avoid calls while in a video meeting, I also have to go to Settings > Video and disable Allow incoming calls when in a meeting.I opened a case with Support, but was told this was part of an update.

I would like all desk phones using the same voicemail pin codes. Is this an option? If so how.

I have set up a group of 2 admin staff. I have set up a voicemail for that group. However, if the phone is not answered by either member of the group, it just continues to ring and never goes to VM. Not sure how to fix this.

I received a call from someone saying they are from Microsoft Dynamics. Which was an expected call. When I called them back using the number they provided and that was on the Caller ID the hold music and announcement is the default from RingCentral. I'm sure Microsoft would use their own Teams phone system for call and not RingCentral.

We recently migrated to Ring Central and we are using our existing IP485 phones from Mitel. We are having a lot of issues transferring calls, using the handset, to the voicemail of another user. Any suggestions?

Already googled this and the only page I can find is this one (https://support.ringcentral.com/article-v2/RingCentral-Phone-Adding-New-Ringtone.html?brand=RC_US&product=RingCentral_Phone&language=en_US), but it doesn't line up to the Windows Desktop App, there is no option to add a ringtone. I find all of the built in ringtones so jarring and would like to add a new one.

I have wasted an entire day going back and forth between Ring Central support and Polycom support as I've been trying to setup my Polycom VVX 410 handset with my RC MVP seat.Ring Central wants me to downgrade the firmware on my VVX 410 to Version 5.6.0.20009, which was released in July 2017. Polycom said that they don't support this version anymore, and they don't have a "custom server" where I could grab the software using the Poly Web Configuration Utility.This phone worked great with Ring Central before I set it up with Microsoft Teams a few months ago. Now I am trying to move it back to Ring Central but I am not having luck.

Leave a voicemail without ringing the phone.From what I can tell there isn't a way to do this. Our warehouse manager is here way before anyone else and he likes to leave voicemail for people. On our old phones he could just hit 8 and it would go straight to their voicemail instead of waiting for it to ring. Is there a way to do this? Any plans to add this? I'm pretty sure I've seen this feature requested multiple times.

I use a headset or my desktop speaker combined with my webcam microphone for calls. When I am on a call and I click on the audio button to change the speaker and microphone settings there is a drop down for "Speaker and Microphone Combination". There is only one option there - my headset speaker and microphone. How do I create another "Speaker and Microphone Combination" so that I can select it from the drop down, to then use the webcam microphone and desktop speaker? I'd like to be able to easily switch back and forth between those two configurations.

I have a user that is unable to pick up a caller after the caller has been placed on hold. She is using the mobile app and has already gone through the uninstall/reinstall app. Her desktop app works fine. So it is specific to the mobile app.Any other suggestions would be appreciated.Thank you

Hi! I've been using RingCentral Phone for Mac because I have the option to View Mac Contacts. But for some reason I can't seem to be able to enable that within RingCentral App (Desktop) for Mac.Can someone guide me through ? Or is this feature not available yet ?I have attached screenshots.

For some time now, we've noticed users experiencing issues transferring/conferencing clients with destinations that have an IVR out front.Significantly often, the call is completed to the destination but during interactivity with that IVR our users can enter whatever number they wish but the tones aren't being sent to the recipient.I've noticed in the forums here this has been an issue for about 2 years now.here and here as an example. Both threads trail off into nothing with no explanation or resolution. I've looked to see if this was resolved elsewhere somehow in the communit

I get nothing but spam phone calls via my direct numbers.

We're unable to delete Direct Messages. When we assign a new user to an existing phone/extension, the new user's name is inserted into the Direct Messages that the previous user created. For example, Dick and Jane are sending Direct Messages to each other. Jane quits and then Bruce is hired and is assigned Jane's old extension. The Direct Messages now look like they are between Bruce and Dick, and they can't be deleted. So Bruce now is privy to all these messages that aren't his business. I don't understand why the Text Messages are easily deleted, but the Direct Messages are apparently untouchable.

Hi, i set up my call handling in my call queue to Sequential. I have 5 members. I set the "Number of rings before trying next member" to 1 minute (12 rings) however it only rings for 6 rings (30 seconds) before it goes to the next member. I also checked the "maximum caller wait time in queue" to 2 mins and same issue. I even tried 2 mins (24 rings) and still, only rings for 6 rings (30 seconds) before going to the next member. This occurs for all the 5 members. Am I missing a step? I also make sure to save any changes.

We need to change between multiple numbers when calling out from our yealink phones, but we cannot find an option to switch the numbers on the phones.

The Voicemail PIN is not working on a couple users' desk phones. They are on Polycom VVX450 devices. The PIN has been tested immediately after changing it, a couple hours after, and a day later and there's still no access to voicemails. They can still be checked on the computer app, but some users are not utilizing the computer app and require access through desk phones.Phones have been rebooted after the PIN change to no avail.Any advice?

I've asked ring central about 40 times to do this and they are NOT helping.I'm trying to port my number from ringcentral to dialpad. I have filled in the form from dialpad but there was an issue, but dialpad won't say because they asked ringcentral and ringcentral won't say.Has anyone been successful in porting their number? I really need to know how this is done.Thanks.

I am trying to set a phone to ring at the same time as another phone incase that receptionist is not at her desk the other person could answer without having to run to that desk. If I remember there was a tab for call handling but I do not see that. Is there a new way to set a phone to ring at the same time as another?Thanks

I do training calls and when I'm on these calls I don't want to be interrupted by other calls coming in. How do I auto send calls to voicemail when I'm already on a call? I use the mobile app on a tablet exclusively.

The call queue has an extention why can't I add it to the phone hud?? I want to add call queue extentions to the receptionist phone but I can only add users.

I previously asked the below question about 3 weeks ago and was told it was being passed on to a specialist. I’ve not heard from anyone to date!We have a Spectrum Business Connect phone number that is absolutely never dialed. It is my understanding (I didn’t set it up) that this line is ”pointed to” our company main phone number 972–304-1800 that is managed by RingCentral. With RingCentral we have this 972-304-1800 number forwarding all calls to the owner’s cell phone exclusively. Business phone 972-304-1800 cannot accept text messages nor the number assigned to us by Spectrum. Everything actually comes to and from a cell phone managed by a third party. We practically never text with a customer or vendor - it is an odd occurrence if ever done. Do we need to register? Which number do we register?
