RingEX: Phone, SMS, & Fax

No audio notification from desktop app when receiving texts. Audio works fine when notification sounds are tested but no sound is actually made by the computer when a text is received.

1. Call comes in. 2. Front Desk Warm Transfers call to Advisor.3. Caller ID remains Front Desk Caller ID.We would like the caller ID to remain the original callers ID. Not the Front Desk Caller ID. I know a cold transfer will accomplish this. I'm requesting a feature to accomplish this with a warm transfer.

How do I save a custom response message to send when receiving a call while on another call?

Need to be able to see prompts pressed after IVR multi-level call in the call logs. Not just where the call landed, but whether they pressed 1, 2, 3,....

We have one call-in number for 3 separate business functions (management, real estate, and rentals). It's really important that we see what a caller has pressed (press 1 for...press 2 for...press 3 for...). We need a solution so our one employee can know ahead of time what a call is for...which business branch.

Is there a way to remove a user or groupcall queue from the corporate directory that you can pull up on the phone?

We have our entire database of leads exported from our system and imported into RingCentral, but we've hit 10000 and it's not letting me add any more. Please allow more.

Currently I am using a Viking PA-30 PA system connect to 3 Analog speakers. Is it possible to connect RC VOIP to broadcast via the Viking PA-30 PA Speakers? Any interface I need or extn to act as the broadcaster to the PA Speakers? Thanks for suggestions.

About 3 weeks ago, the RC Phone on my Android began automatically logging me after after a couple of hours due to inactivity. We have now had a 2nd phone in our organization which began automatically logging the user off which began last week. So far we have had no reports of iPhone automatically logging users out. Any ideas?

Team, customer is asking for supporting doc on their fax issue. They worked with support that said "the rate of transmission from analog to digital is currently to fast which causes missed faxes. Please reach out to all suppliers that send you the faxes and request them to manually turn down rate of transmission from 14200 to 9600 to prevent the faxes from failing." ASK: do we have a better work around or documentation for our digital fax requirements that we can share?

I have the latest RingCentral app version installed on my iPhone (20.3.35.71264). There is no longer an option to disable mobile integration. When I get an incoming call on my business line, I want it to ring on my RingCentral app; I do not want the RingCentral calls to appear on my mobile phone's call logs. There is also no longer an option to disable data VoIP calling.I have AT&T Call Protect installed on my iPhone and have set it up where all unknow callers that are not in my contact list to go directly to voice mail. So now, when I get incoming calls through my RingCentral business line, they're also going to my voice mail without giving me the opportunity to answer the calls on my cell. How can I make this work?

I am using the new RC app on my iphone. When I am on my iphone line and my business line with RC rings I need to be able to reject the call and send them an automated text with a message of my choosing. How can I do this? Thanks

US accountSMS suddenly stopped working for main office number.I use Glip on my Android phone. I have the RingCentral for Google extension on my Windows computer. I have an extension inside Zoho for RingCentral SMSing.As of Friday or Saturday, I can no longer use the main office number to send out SMS. I had been using it for years without problems, so I am really irritated that it is now, unexplainably not working.When I try to send SMS through my Windows app, I now get the following message:A valid Phone Number is required to send text message to recipients outside of your company, Please contact your Administrator to add a direct number to your account.When I send it through the Android app ( ), I get the following error message:Cannot Send Message...Your account does not support text messaging. Contact your account administrator.When I use the extension in Zoho, I get the following message:FeatureNotAvailable - Phone number doesn't belong to extension

The HUD has been one of our most helpful tools to see who is on park locations (just like a normal phone) and who is busy on the phone. We've used the ring central phone app. We recently discovered that it will be end of service estimated the end of next year. This feature is essential for us to use ring central effectively. Can you build something similar to the hud in the unified app. And more/most importantly can we utilize the private park locations we have set up in the admin portal. We use this in opposition to blind or warm transfers because it allows to decouple the calling experience from the transfer experience. It gives our internal users breathing room to leave someone on a park location, then have the next person pick it up without the rush of having to keep someone on hold while you transfer.

Small office with 30 phones - we have a Cisco 5520 firewall configured to failover to a secondary ISP (Different Static IP) if we lose service, the failover happens in 2 seconds -- is there any way to keep phone calls alive if the outgoing IP address changes mid call?In my testing the phone has a registration problem when the failover occursThe internet has no issue when the failover happens - videos continue to stream, email works, etc.

Back in the day and still today, a Verizon phone customer (analog or digital) has access to a really beneficial feature called Busy Redial.If you dial a number (hosted by any provider, not just Verizon) and it is busy, you can dial *66 and hang up. Verizon will call you first when the number is free and when you pick up, redial the number that was busy so that you don't have to keep calling manually.I don't know how Verizon does this, especially when the dialed numbers with another provider.Is there anyway for RC to look into doing this feature?
