RingEX: Phone, SMS, & Fax

We have three Yealink W52P base stations and six W56H cordless handsets. We also have six telephone lines. We want each handset to have its own extension and be able to communicate seamlessly throughout a large warehouse space. We expected that by linking each handset to each base station, that this would enable maximum mobility with the phones. However, when anyone calls a number, all the phones ring. They all show the same extension. Is there are way to have six extensions on the six handsets and be able to configure a call flow/pattern?

The Ring Central Desktop App (BIG R) is freezing when trying to DL a recording. I found Avast Antivirus was identifying Update.exe and Ringcentral.exe as IDP.Generic, so i have submitted to them the files, as well as created an exception at the folder and executable level. However, i am still having issues with Downloading the recordings on one machine as of right now. Has anybody seen this?

I need help sending a fax

Hi,since few days I cant open the RingCentral Gilp. If I try to open i get this message:This email is already registered: ....I didnt change in my account details or my email or what ever. Can login in to my account in RingCentral but if I want open the button to RingCentral to the Glip I get a blue screen and this message.Can anyone help me?

I would like to have my operator extension ring to 2 users in a specific order. so I set up a queue and set up the Operator to ring by the queue. It doesn't seem to work it just rings by a random user. Any idea how to fix this?

I have my office hours set to 8 AM - 3 PM. However, I am part of a Support Queue for after hour emergencies. Can I & if so, how do I set it that if it is a Queue call for it to ignore the business hour settings?

Fax receipt error where the recipient has not changed the fax number, but the physical location of the faxes in their office. All RC faxes to these numbers are not being received. Please help!

I use to be able to receive calls on my desk phone and desktop/mobile app. All i had to do was turn off the Data VoIP Calling in the phone app to not receive business calls on my cell phone. Now even with the Data VoIP off calls come through, but if I'm on a current call or my personal carrier line on my cell , the current call I'm on will fail and end the call coming in. My Iphone has been doing this since the new IOS back in Sept. Is there anyway to get the app to work like it use to?

We are new to RC and are trying to better understand the analytics. my specific question is related to this screen shot. a call that seems to have been picked up also shows a missed. Why?

I have had three customers using the Flip App instead of the phone app and missed calls.Once i switched them to the Phone Mobile App, calls were not missed.Now I read that the phone app is going away at the first of the month.This is not good. Has anyone else experienced this issue?

'Ringcentral is unavailable , switch to calls only to make calls' pops up in RC App when users login in morning with their google ,clicking on google sign in option.After few attempts when logged in with email id and password , we got it working . So I need to know why is this happening? It happened 2 times last week with all users .

I just updated my Google pixel 3 to the latest Andriod 10, since then when an incoming call calls in through my mobile device, I dont have an option to see who is calling and I don't have the option to answer the call. Very frustrating. Please help?

Hi there, I just got back from small vacation and I have my out of office OFF but when someone dials my direct line it goes directly to voicemail and I don't have my DND on. Any ideas how I can fix this?

When someone texts me through my RingCentral number or I get a Voicemail, I don't get any push notifications on my Android phone (Galaxy S8+) until I open the Ring Central app. This means it might be hours or even days before I see that there's a message, missing important communication.I've looked for notification settings within the app and in everything seems to be turned on. How do I fix this?

We are going to allow BYOD for the RC Phone app. I need to know which versions of iOS and Android are supported.

Wondering when Ring Central will include the ability to add a 2nd caller to an existing call with the iphone app? For me this is a very important feature.

Was recently forced to update to 10.14.6 (Mojave) and now Glip (desktop) refuses to load at all.....can anyone tell me if there is a fix for this? I tried uninstalling and re-installing, and even tried re-installing an older (saved .dmg) version that I know worked fine before the Mojave update. Or possibly there is some other setting in Mojave I need to activate first?

I have both RingCentral and Google Calendar (we use G-suite) installed in my Android Work Profile (using Android 8, Samsung S8).When I click a phone number in Google Calendar, it automatically dials via RingCentral. Other apps launch my default phone dialer. I have cleared all default apps from Calendar and RingCentral, but can't seem to prevent this behavior.I would prefer that my standard Phone dialer is used for all phone numbers from within the Work Profile.Any suggestions?Best,Marc

I want to get my Outlook calendar to sync with Glip, so that Glip will automatically set my availability based on meetings I have in my Outlook calendar.

I have a RC Office Premium account. I am trying to set it up so that if someone calls in and presses 1 for sales, my desk phone rings first and if I don't answer, the call goes to an external number (answering service).I do not want all calls to my desk phone forwarding to the answering service, only callers who pressed 1 for sales and then I didn't answer in time.Since call queues do not let you no-answer-forward to an external number, RC support created a new "Extension" in the users tab (Sales, ext 1) and set up call handling rules to first ring my ip phone and then go to an external number.My question: will I be billed extra for this?I have read many forum posts about RC's deceptive billing for non-device/non digital line extensions.
