RingEX: Phone, SMS, & Fax

Ring Central arbitrarily changes my plan from the RingCentral Fax750 plan to the RingCentral Fax1500 plan without any input from me. My history shows I use about 15-20 fax pages a year. When I received my one e-mail notice I looked on Ring Central's website and there is no RingCentral Fax750 plan shown. Now when I log in I can see there is a change I could have done to the RingCentral Fax750 but is it too late since it was charged and no refund is available (I can get a credit but no refund). I cannot believe how unethical this feels. Yes, there was a notice, but a change should not be made if the same plan is still available. An easy way to get another $64 from each user without any benefit provided.

Currently our system is set through IVR to dispatch automated text messages when certain departments are closed. We are doing this by integrating a user extension assigned to a line on phone wagon.For example... customer wants to junk their car for a fixed price of $200 and can submit their information with a link thats dispatched through text. Customer presses 1 and that user is and extension that rings a line on Phonewagon. The phone wagon extension does not answer but is instructed to dispatch a predefined text to that customer allowing them to submit their information and dispatching the job.Recent changes now charge us $59.95 for each text extension we have. This is ridiculous especially that Ringcentral has text messaging capabilities. So my question is, can you administratively set a user setting to reply with a message only when that extension does not answer? It seems that there is no way to accept queue calls on the glip version of the RingCentral app. This would be very helpful especially to those who work on remote desktops.Is this expected to be a feature anytime soon? Having to go into multiple apps to use one feature is not really that efficeint.

I have the Ring Central Meetings app installed, and I have the plug in for Outlook, but lately it hasn't been working. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app. Now when I try scheduling a meeting, the meeting will not populate at all in the Outlook appointment. I get an error message that says I need to install the "Ring Meetings for Meetings" app. Literally that error with meetings twice. What can that mean and how do I resolve that?

I have 4 desk phones. I can make outgoing calls to mobile and landline numbers.The problem I have is when I try and call my main number or a direct number I am prompted with the greeting but none of the desk phones ring.I get the "Please hold while i try and connect you" message and music.Then after about 30 seconds it goes to voicemail.What have I done wrong?

When calling out my users do not have enough time to dial. How do I correct that?

In Canada. When making outbound calls we off and on are getting a message of "Im sorry, theres been an internal error. You will be disconnected now. Goodbye" I see there was an update last night from the status on the help page but have no prompts or ability to update on the RC Phone app. Is this an overall issue effecting all clients or is there a fix?

I am nearing the end of my trial period and I have decided that, although lacking, it doesn't pay to start using the separate phone and meeting apps if they will soon be discontinued. So, if I stay with RC, I am just going to use the Universal Glip apps on my Android and Windows 10 PC and wait for the additional features to be ported over.I currently use MS Teams for team messaging but would probably switch to Glip just to have everything in one place. Glip is definitely INFERIOR to MS Teams in several areas:1) Presence - MS Teams makes a distinction if someone is idle (yellow) vs. offline (gray). Glip doesn't.2) E-Mail Notifications - MS Teams seems smarter about when I am idle and will therefore send me e-mails more accurately for missed messages. All my faxes are failing - they have been for a few days and I cannot seem to get anyone from Ringcentral on the phone or on chat?

What changed? I could not start or join a meeting via URL today until I closed the old desktop app and quit the new app. Very frustrating and had to use a free zoom meeting to deal with a client earlier until I ambled around to a work around.

In the past I have been able to change new users profile to be apart of the "company" when they register without using an invite link. Now it appears that that is gone. These new users appears as guest. Is there a new solution for this? Thank

I've added our main office number to HUD and turned the setting "Ring when any user I am monitoring receives an incoming call." However, while I hear a ring for my own incoming calls, I don't hear one for the main office number incoming calls.

Is there a way to delete posts from the RC Mobile App? I'm not seeing any options for that at least on Apple iOS nor any permission setting. Also, how do you like a post via mobile?Thank you

I have a problem with the Latest RingCentral App (Glip) when you try to invite (import) contacts from the contracts section and use 365. the authentication window appears and you can sign in but then it a white screen and does not complete the auth?Anyone else had this issue?

Our calls are answered by a virtual receptionist. It takes 10 seconds to "bypass the company extension" and actually connect. Here's what I want:1. Person Calls2. One second elapses, NOT TEN3. Virtual Receptionists phone rings.Is that possible? It's already set to bypass the greeting and go directly to my extension - which forwards the call. Let's cut out the middle man. Call the number, it's forwarded. The end. How do we do that?

Hello,I joined called today using RC services. However, when I dialed in I got a busy tone. I tried a few more time however it still failed. A co-worker then tried using her cell phone but when she dial-in she got the busy tone it wasn't until she tried a second time where it went through. My IT believes that its something to do with RC services where it was only able to handle one dial in at a time. It was just there conclusion as this isn't their area of expertise. Anyone else having this issue as well?

Why cant we paste a phone number into the dial section of the mobile app

Hi there, is there a reason why contacts are properly named on mobile, but when you view the conversation on the Desktop RingCentral, it's all still numbers.(It's only recently that I noticed that one is named correctly "Winnie")Thanks for any information,Jeff

Name a phone number on the desktop version of ringcentral. IE Tom Jone 222-222-2222, so if a response comes back you know, out of the 100's, who is responding

Since the last upgrade, (version doesn't seem to be available in the app) a few days ago, all my personal contacts phone numbers are formatted incorrectly. They still work fine in the desktop app. The phone numbers have all changed to +40(73)9999. In order to call I need to manually enter 1-407-739-9999. Additionally, 1 has to be entered first. Moving back to the LEGACY app that works. *** Please do not force this update UNTIL IT IS READY, and FULLY FUNCTIONAL, like the Legacy app.Better yet, throw a hand-grenade into the server that hosts it and start over!I need a PHONE app, not a backwards, upside-down "messaging" app.

When I add my VA to my phone system She will be the 4th sharing the line. There will be the VA with my assistant and my answering service plus me. Basically, if not picked up by one of us on by the 4th ring the answering service picks up. Is this workable?. When setting this up what should I look out for? Support has had me on the line for 20 minutes listening to music. This is terrible. PLEASE HELP
