RingEX: Phone, SMS, & Fax

Can more than one person be logged into the mobile app (different devices) and be able to transfer a call? Or does one person need to be logged in as admin and the other create a new account with their user info?

How do I use RingCentral for telemedicine? A criterion is that the patient initiates the call. I would like to have an audio-visual connection.

I have had so many difficulties trying to set up something so simple. I just need the main line people call to have an option to press key 2 in order to be directed to our emergency line.Can someone please assist? I have looked over every article and nothing is working when we call the main number. Its letting us leave voicemails but not giving us the prompts to press now.

U.S. customer here. Lately, I've been getting text messages sent to our phone numbers. I don't remember setting this up and/or enabling it. 1) How do people get the impression they can text the number? 2) When they do text, where does the text go? I can't find them in the system anywhere! I only know I'm getting them because I get an email notification when one comes through.

Using RingCentral in the US, and software is updated to latest version.I am having issues with Apple Airbuds on a PC. I bought the Airbuds to give me some privacy since my wife is working from home and sharing my home office with me. I connected the Airbuds to my computer via bluetooth and set the RingCentral app to use them as my primary audio device. The RingCentral app kept the microphone turned on and prevented incoming calls until I switched the microphone and speaker back to my Sennheiser headset. The Airbuds work with everything else on my computer and incoming calls will ring on them, but I have to switch over to my Sennheiser headset to actually take a call.Anyone else having a similar issue or know a fix for this?

Why is there still no external contacts integration with RingCentral's Windows or web app (aka Glip)? This is a sorely missing feature such that without it the RingCentral Windows and web apps are quite crippled and certainly lacking as business-grade software. Can anyone in authority who may be monitoring this forum post a positive update on this matter for all of us, especially those of us who need to specify a business communication system to our clients?

I'm working from home via the mobile app. Is there a way to get all the calls forwarded to me without having the person dial my extension?

We are new to RC, we are trying to setup a phone number for announcements. This will be used by employees to call and find out the latest info about a company location.I need a few individuals access to this phone number so they can update the announcement as often as they need.i either need a generic account that can be shared by others (no validation emails etc) or a way to add multiple people to this phone.

Has anyone been able to reach Ring Central reps? I've had a ticket opened, called in, and have a chat ongoing and have yet to reach anyone

No Service on my Business line after transferring number

I've deleted and reinstalled the app several times with no luck. My microphone works fine with any other app. It seems like the app is not asking for permission to use the microphone. Under Settings>Privacy>Microphone there are no apps listed requesting access to the microphone.

I have an existing W60B base unit and a W56H handset. They have never been set up through RingCentral. I believe they were on the old Ooma phone system. I want to hook them into RingCentral and assign them new numbers. How do I do that?

In a recent update the icon for the Dashboard has been moved from the far-left to under the 'more' menu. Moreso the default Glip view is conversations pane.Why did something think that hiding the Dashboard is a good idea? This matter is even worse because the functionality to send email reminders of forgotten tasks has also been removed.The Dashboard is the most important part of Glip, its where I need to start every day (and many times a day). I really dont care to have conversations shown to me at all. the notifications work well enough to tell me to read something.With the Dashboard out of sight its also out of mind, and is not an effective tool for managing my day anymore. Of course I can go look for the dashboard, but thats not the point. When trying to implement new habits with a new system takes some time, hiding the dashboard doesnt help.Surely if someone else didnt like the Dashboard being the default view, the best solution is to make that an option rather than inconv

There is an option in the RC Phone desktop app, under Settings > Calls called 'Show called site names for incoming calls'.There is nothing in the user guide about this option, and not easily found anything on the community. Can someone explain what this option does please?

I am having problems trying to connect to the Ringcentral App. I am trying to work from home and forward the calls to my cell phone.

I have a Galaxy S8 and under a Verizon plan. I have both the RC Phone and Ring Central app. I am unable to receive inbound calls to my extension on my cell phone. It either does not prompt me, or prompts me for a half of a second and the prompt disappears almost immediately to accept the call. The extension works just fine on the desk phone in my office, but it does not prompt me when I'm at home/out of the office on my cell apps.

My Caller ID comes up as "Scam Likely" on other people's phones. When I look at my settings, it has my compeny name. HELP!

With the new update, my plantronics headset works fine with every other app, other than RingCentral. It acts like it's going to work, and then goes back to speaker or phone and will not accept the bluetooth or headset function now. - HELP

Most of our employees are working from home right now. A few of us still her to answer the phones. If a customer calls our direct line it rings to our to our cell phones but is there anyway to make the main line ring to a cell phone?

I have a US account.As of Thursday the March 12th I stopped being able to receive text messages back. After doing some testing we discovered that we can no longer send text messages to the main number. Apparently I can text to one of the assigned numbers but not the main number.When I text out the main number is number that people are asked to respond with.I do not want people to see my assigned number. Please advise.No updates made on our side just randomly stopped working.

I invited a contact while using Glip. This contact now shows along with my companys three users. I cant find a way to delete this contact. I can close the conversation but not remove the contact.

We have Ring Groups setup for incoming calls to our offices main BTN's. Currently we have several admin who are a part of a Ring Group who are usually in the offices working from home. After installing the RC Phone application on their personal computers and deauthorizing the application on their work computers I expected them to see calls to the main office numbers via the application and to be able to answer the calls, transfer, park,etc as if they were in the office. this doesn't seem to be working. When calling the main number they receive no notification via the application. However if i call there personal DID or Extension the application notifies them of a incoming call. Any ideas what may be happening, while in the office they are notified of calls that are incoming to the main line via the application.

Is there any facility within the RingCentral mobile app do to a impromptu conference call?I.e. when you are on an existing call with somebody, can you then conference a third person into this call?Thanks.

While using the RingCentral Phone and RingCentral Meetings Apps, headphone microphone audio doesn't work.I'm on macOS Catalina 10.15.3RingCentral Phone: Release: 19.4.0.37336 (64-bit)RingCentral Meetings: Version: 19.4.151918.1217I've tried uninstalling/installing the apps and trying different type of headset. I've tried using a cheap set of in-ear headphones with the mic attached to one of the cables and an over-ear set similar to a 'gaming' style head set.
