I would like to know if we can have the call routing from call queue to specific rules of an extension

We are in the process of moving to RingCentral for several of our users (new company subsidiary). We would like to be able to use 5 digit dialing to call users on old system. The old system has an auto attendant so we were hoping to be able to dial something like 2-1234 wher 2 would initiate the call to the old auto attendant and then pass the 1234 as the extension. Is this possible? Is there some other way to achieve this ?

I purchased a new cell phone. LG Stylo 5 Now after setting up the ringcentral app every call i make cuts out every other second both for me and for the customer. I am sure it is something I need to set up differently, but I have no idea which setting would cause this. I have my old device, a samsung galaxy A10e which is working perfectly, so it has to be a setting in my new phone. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

I park a call to a virtual location (*8xx). The location is announced to me when I place the call in park. Let's say I forget that location. Is there a way to tell which virtual locations have calls in park?

I started testing Glip with a personal email account, and that test has been successful. I would now like to move my Glip to my new company's domain. I have a lot of conversations already, and don't want to lose that history. I have been able to update the company name, but I cannot change the email address domain.

I know the standard procedure for sending a fax from email is to add the item you want to fax to the email as an attachment, then send the email to <fax number>@rcfax.com. This works great. Now I need to send a fax via email to a fax number with an extension. For example, 212-555-1212*82. How do I email to fax to that?

HiWe have an Account type: UK - RingCentral Office 1 line Standard EditionDiverting to mobiles is no problem but we recently got a local Skype number for when we're out of the country as the cost of our mobiles out of the EU is high and thought that when we were on wifi, being able to accept calls on that would be great. But the diversion doesn't work. It either goes straight through to voicemail, jumps onto the next divert (one of our mobiles) or cuts out completely. I've done what seemed like an endless chat with first RingCentral then with Skype who each say the problem is with the other provider. Does anyone know the answer please, as to why my local Skype number won't work when used as a divert on RingCentral? Any help gratefully received!Thank you :)

How do I Port my number to a mobile carrier

2 COMPANIES WITH OVERLAPPING EMPLOYEES. I have a problem. I know RC is capable of doing this, but I don't know how to do it. I have one R.C. account, 2 companies and 2 "877" numbers. Company A has different employees than company B - EXCEPT there are two employees that are in both companies and we cannot get the IFR system to work correctly on those two employees that are in both companies. Can you PLEASE POINT ME TO A VIDEO, or an article that can help me fix this. PLEASE. R.C. technical people couldn't do it, but I know its "doable". THANKS VERY MUCH

I keep on getting an "Unknown" Status Result on my outgoing fax. My recepient says he's going to acknowledge the email once he got it but I've been trying to sit and wait to make sure it'll send for hours now but it's still the same. Tried contacting support but none can give me a definite answer. Can you guys help? I was always told that the person I am faxing don't have a fax number.

Do we have an API to retrieve the text converted from voice mail(speech)?

I'm trying to install the Softphone MSI via script. When I install directly (locally) on the target machine, the MSI works correctly, but when I do it via remote script in Panda Systems Management, the log file diverges at the MuiCache stage and tries to reconfigure an existing install instead of doing a fresh install. A helpful tip to others that might suffer this - my mac started having a continuous ringing - as if malware had affected it. The culprit ended up being the RingCentral chrome extension that once shutdown in the activity monitor, the "ringing" stopped.As long as I am at it - the plugin maintains an icon the shows on any webpage I might need to print out. I wish the development team found a better way to present the extension rather than the side webpage icon.Both make what should be an innocuous plugin into a plugin that distracts and is bothersome.

When is the new combined app for RingCentral, RingCentral Phone and RingCentral Meetings available on iOS? I understand we are to move by 2/28, but want to know when the new app comes out, please.

The Glip Meme Generator has not been working for several days now. When attempting to post a meme an error message appears: "Whoops: Sorry, but we couldn't create your meme at this time. Please try again later." The issue appears for multiple user account, but via the Glip native Mac app and the browser UI. My team leverages this feature extensively in our professional communications, and this outage has severely impacted productivity.(Account type: U.S.)

I have a US account, but will be travelling in Vietnam. I would like to be able to make and receive calls with the Ringcentral Phone (Desktop)I will NOT be getting a local SIM, nor roaming with my phone as I have a WIFI hotspot with unlimited use during the time I will be there.

I'm having trouble sending SMS. It says "message failed" or "message cannot be delivered". Does anyone know why is this happening? I need help! Please!

I feel stupid asking this question but I'm in the RingCentral app right now on Windows and I went in to browse the App Gallery. I'm now having trouble figuring out how to get out of this mode and back into "Glip". Has anybody had this issue before?

When I call external customers and when external customers call me, they frequently ask me to speak up because they can barely hear me. This happens whether I use my headset (Plantronics CS500 XD) or the handset (Polycom VVX 411). Calls to people in the company work just fine. For example, there is a notable difference between me calling a coworkersring central phone vs calling their personal cell phone. I rebooted the phone, but that doesn't seem to have improved my audio. And this isn't an issue with audio quality. My voice isn't choppy/broken/whatever. It is just very quiet.

Does the new mobile finally have a feature that allows users to switch/toggle between user extensions or has Ring Central continued to ignore a much needed feature?

Prevent Direct Number from being spoofedHello...we have received reports from our users that they received a call and the caller advised that they received a call from them, however our users did NOT call them. For about a week now, I have noticed that the caller id on any voicemails reads like a numeric number, so for instance, a number of 6105555555 will be read at the beginning of the voicemail as '6 billion, 105 million', etc, rather than just reading the number - six, one, zero... Is there a new setting to get this back to the way it was before? Thanks for any information.
