RingEX: Phone, SMS, & Fax

We are attempting to configure the AVOXI virtual number service to call forward to our RingCentral instance, AVOXI has a VoIP/SIP/Softphone forward option, and we are unclear of the configuration and cant find anyone at RC that can help. They also have an option to just call forward to a number, but the VoIP/SIP/Softphone option is less expensive. has anyone used a third party service like AVOXI to rout numbers to RC?

I had an interesting experience the other day with a user that was new to our organization came into my office, saying that I should check the security settings of our Glip site because he was able to create his own account and "Get in".This caused me a bit of panic until I discovered the following:Because his e-mail was associated with the same domain as mine, when he created his ID, Glip recognized that we already had a Glip instance configured and it added him to it. To its credit, Glip confirms the user's "legitimacy" by making them click on a link in an e-mail that gets sent to their supplied address before activating the account.While he was able to get in, he was able to get into the "Organization-wide" team, but none of the individual teams that we had configured.He was able to see/IM others in the organization.I suppose it could be argued that this is a great feature that simplifies administration/rollout of the product but I don't really

I have installed the Ring Central app on my computer and i have been trying to log into the app, but whenever I do, it stops me from logging in and gives me the message, "We are experiencing an issue with servers. If the problem persists, contact support for help." I had another person sign in on my device and they got logged in no problem, and it gives me this message whenever I try to sign in on other devices too. I am the only person I know of at my organization that has this problem. This is in the U.S. if that has any impact.

I have an android phone and for some reason I can't use the mobile app for faxing. Whenever I need to fax something, there is no option for me to attach the document. The document tab is empty.

I purchased a Cisco phone from RC and got the phone with absolutely no instructions on how to use it.

Help, in the new app (blue R instead of blue phone handle) there is no longer a search bar at the top so I have no way to search prior voice mail messages (by name from contacts or by #) as I was able in the old app. I called tech support and was told sorry there is no way to search messages. Is this true?

We have two phones in our office. I would like them to both ring at the same time so that both phones can answer the call. Can i set my other phone up to the main number too?

Prior to a recent update, the US windows Ring Central app (Glip) would pop a notification and when you click on it, it would bring up the RC app and go to that message/conversation.Recently, if you click on the notification, it goes away and does nothing. I'm on Version: 19.8.1 (E. 2.0.14) / Build: 1095 (rev. 666395a)Is this regression, or a feature?Have other folks experienced this?

Is there a possibility on admin portal to block certain fax numbers so our users cannot send any fax to them?

There are multiple copies of every personal contact I have in the desktop and mobile app. However if I go into personal contacts in my account online, it only has the one contact as you would expect.The duplicates are driving me nuts, my intention was to delete and then reimport them but now it's clear this isn't going to help as the duplicates are being caused by another variable.How do I get rid of the duplicates in my desktop and mobile apps? We are moving but will be operating at 2 locations until the move is finalized. Can I take a phone to the new location and just plug it in?

When I use my Air Pods and connect through Bluetooth to my MAC, I don't get any sound when I'm using the ring central desktop phone. People can hear me when I make a call, but I cannot hear them.

We are continuously receiving calls from the same number, multiple times, daily - 609-250-9180. We have tried blocking it, but the calls continue to come in. Why isn't the block number working? Note: This conversation was created from a reply on: Block Numbers on Spam Number List.

I used to be able to answer a call my pressing enter on my keyboard with my old Ring Central. Is there a way to do it with the Ring Central App?

I have several users who have had trouble retrieving parked calls on the mobile app over the last month. It started off with a couple of people having problems and now half of my team is unable to pick up a parked call using the RingCentral Mobile App. Is anyone else experiencing this issue?

When calling into a conference through my computer, I don't get any audio I still have to call in on my phone so it takes another line out of the allowed 4. Is there a way to call in with just my computer and not have to call in on my phone too?

Ever since we opened this acct, we continue to have this problem: Our caller ID shows "HERMOSA BCH CA" ~ We are in Los Angeles. Why can't you change it to read LOS ANGELES CA?? Please correct this. I have been trying to fix this since 2014. It's ridiculous.. We have our company name noted in the caller ID section on our acct page, but that doesn't work either. Results from RC on salesforce's task shows disconnected even the call was successfully connected. RC Support can't seem to see the cause of the issue. Anybody else having the same problem? I'ts been working fine until we updated the package to version 6.3

I would like to be able to Add another caller when I am on a call, merge them so we are on a 3 way call, I would then like to intro both callers and get off the phone so the other two callers can continue to talk. Is this possible?
