Hello - I am somewhat new to the system. I have been able to generate a report on transferred calls but it only shows me who the call went to. I would like to know where the call came from (what skill and agent). Anyone already do this?

Q: What is the maximum number of members I can have in a Call Queue?

I have the Plantronics V5200 Bluetooth headset, I have my MAC app RingCentral setup to integrate with it. I get calls on my MAC and when I try to answer with the headset it does nothing, online it says I should be able to answer, hangup and mute calls. The only way to answer calls is to press "Answer" on the app. Am I missing something? I have the Plantronics Hub installed and it sees my device as a PC connection only since I can't get it to see it in Bluetooth. Any one get this working? Thanks

I have 10 local numbers and 2 toll free numbers. From my android app, I can select from which number I want to place an outbound call and done. The question is:I have a cisco 8861(Desktop) and I see the 10 lights green and all of them are as one name or yet. My concern is how can I set up in a way that I will know from which local number will I place the outbound call since all caller ID are on the same name.Also, how can I create or edit each number with a different caller id? Perhaps this would solve it..... Having too much fun a night before the holliday!tks,

If a user extension has custom hours and is part of a ring group, will the ring group hours override the user hours?Scenario: Front desk / Reception has a cordless phone so they can answer calls when away from the desk at the beginning of the day. The cordless has an annoying ring so custom hours have been programmed so the device will not ring during the day. However when the user extension is added to the reception ring group, calls go right through.Is there a why to force the user extension to respect the custom hours while being part of a ring group?

Allow Editing "Roles" so that a manager could see "user status", but not be able to adjust the call handling. This would protect the company and allow managers to view reports and assess performance.

Is there a way to mute Pandora automatically when a call is answered. I see the button for iTunes but not anything else?

Why do I have a red dot with the number 2 on my desktop taskbar icon when I don't have any unread Glip messages or missed calls? I have tried logging out and restarting the Glip application and it is cleared, but as soon as new messages start coming in, the red 2 appears again. Can anyone help with this?

How do you recover a deleted voicemail? (U.S.)

Hi !Im the admin on my my Glip App website but Ive noticed that I can turn a guest into co worker anymore.When I click on the Gear icon to see the option over a specific user, it doesnt show that option "Change guest to co worker"What is going on ? I remember that option was available to me before.Can anybody help me ? I cant get help from Glip support.

I have a jabra vxi v300 and a Lenovo laptop. The laptop doesn't even recognize that the headset is plugged in, so when trying to use it with ringcentral, it simply plays through my laptop speakers. Anyone have any insight as to how to fix this? Thanks!

Whenever the desktop phone rings on my Mac (Version 10.14.5), a voicemail plays. The only way to stop this happening, is to delete the voicemails from the app. However, when a new voicemail is left, the same problem occurs. I have tried deleting and reinstalling the desktop app. If I answer the call, the voicemail plays while I try to speak to the caller (so can't hear the caller), and the caller can hear the other person (in the voicemail) speak. It is all very strange and very disruptive. I updated to the latest version of the app and still the problem persists. This has gone on for weeks and now happens on every call. Any ideas?

Is the RingCentral phone app for Windows desktop supported and compatible to work in an RDS (Remote Desktop Server) version 2019? And if it is.... How does it get installed, since when I tried to install it using the preferred method for installing apps on a Remote Desktop Server and subsequently ran it on a thin client, I received this error:

Glip is used by our whole business across several countries as a means to have quick collaborative conversations. Controlling when an update occurs in Glip would be of value. Updates to Glip pop up as a notification but there is no means to control when it happens. Work in progress is lost when the update runs. Ideally users should be able to delay the update until finishing a message or select to have it update at a later time.

It looks like RingCentral is forcing the new mobile app on us but we are having some trouble making the switch. Every time you open the app it defaults to the Glip screen which shows a sort of "news feed" of messages but does not include recent calls/missed calls. We don't use Glip at all in our company and just need the app to default to the Phone screen instead. Is there any way to make this happen?

Cant uninstall or update RingCentral on a PC that has need been used for a long time. The error says the PC is missing RingCentral for Windows Desktop Version 8.0.4. In order to uninstall or update the application the installer of 8.0.4 version is needed. I have called RC support and was told they dont have a copy that old. Any ideas??

Customers numbers are not showing anymore. Instead I see the name of the group for every entry. When I press 'i' only then do I see the actual number that called

Hi, is there a way for me to call multiple numbers (up to ten) by dialing one group number? I imagine i can add these ten numbers into a group. And then instead of dialing one after the other, i can somehow dial one "group number", and then RingCentral can dial those ten numbers for me. In my case, we don't have to conference/talk. I just want to wake them up for system testing around midnight. :-) Thanks, Lei

I cannot find set up instructions for this. Is there anything I'm missing to connect the phone through the computer - instead of directly into the wall?We have tried multiple times but either the phone or the computer loses connection.We are out of ports at the office so if we could get the phone and computer to share a port, that would free us up a lot!I've tried chatting but they weren't any help.

has anyone used RC with a satelite connection I have Huges net and was told that the two were compatible and my desk phones are not coming in clear the call is breaking up with static. help!

When a Ring Group user is on a call and another calls comes into the cue, or perhaps direct as well, the user AND caller both hear the ringtones in their ears very loudly. There does not seem to be anything the user can do about it until the call is answered or caller hangs up and ringing stops. It is annoying our users, and especially our customers, to no end. I seem to remember some posts about this a while ago regarding mobile doing something similar, but can't even find those now, and there doesn't seem to be any related to other apps being affected.Also, when a call comes in, whatever the user is doing on their computer (typing, etc.) is interrupted as RingCentral steals focus. I have a workaround that kind of works to prevent the user from being interrupted, but it seems to only work as long as the dialer doesn't pop up, which sometimes it does and sometimes it doesn't. We have had an issue going on for over a year where some users can't receive calls from Verizon users to our direct numbers. It seems no one can find a resolution to this. Has anyone else experienced this and have a resolution?It is getting to the point where we will need to find a different provider if this doesn't get resolved ASAP.
