RingEX: Phone, SMS, & Fax

Using latest Plantronics Hub (Ver 3.13.2 build 41952) with Voyager Focus UC. Under Settings - Software Settings - Target Softphone there is no option for RingCentral. What should I select? I'm having constant issues with the popup "Plantronics Device Controls Disabled". RingCentral KB ID 10726 is not helpful at all. I'm thinking that the proper selection of "Target Softphone" with the Hub software might help.

hello, trying to get approval for my company to use ring central however we will need to be able to disable the download feature for the faxes and voicemails. will this be an added feature in the upcoming updates?

We have imported all staff cell numbers into our company contacts on RingCentral.If a staff member calls another's RingCentral number using their cell phone, RingCentral does not identify the caller, even though the cell number is in our company contacts. Can it be changed so that RingCentral can identify a caller from any of the numbers listed on their contact entry?(We are encouraging our staff to use RingCentral, and not their cell phone native app, when they are calling each other, but there are times when it may be better to use their cell phone rather than RingCentral to call a colleague.)

Wondering if there is a way in Ring Central to forward incoming text messages to a mobile phone like you can do in Google Voice?

I recently updated the Ring Central desktop app for Mac to version 19.5.2.This version seems to have no Contacts. It did not transfer my existing contacts, and I can't find a place to add new contacts. Below is a screenshot of the dashboard of the app on my desktop.This doesn't look like the pictures in the desktop user guide.

Have my user account configured to ring my desktop softphone and my mobile application on incoming calls which works (both apps ring). However when I answer the call on my mobile phone, the call does not connect.Conversely, when attempting to initiate a call via the RingCentral app on my mobile phone, once I dial the number and press the green button, the next screen shows a "Connecting...." message for a few seconds and then a popup appears about the app unable to connect to the network (hard to get the entire message since the popup only stays on screen for a second or two).All other parts of the RingCentral app seem to work normally.Have uninstalled, rebooted, and re-installed the app with not change in behavior.Phone is a OnePlus 6T, running the international version of the firmware on the T-Mobile network.Have not yet attempted to make or receive calls while the phone is connected to WiFi.

I just found out RingCentral can listen to my voice messages. That is not acceptable. This is a law firm and I our voice messages must be strictly confidential. You must change this so it is not possible for you to listen to a law firm's voice messages.

Customers call us and give their name at the prompt. Why am I no longer able to hear that voice prompt when I pick up the call using the mobile app? And why isn't their name prompt recorded on Call Recording with the rest of the call?I used to hear the name prompt before accepting the call. I don't anymore...

When will RingCentral allow MMS messages to go to personal contacts, and the personal contacts in the thread be able to see the message and who is in the group? And be able to respond to the entire group. It will be nice to be able to message a group (from personal contacts) and be able to get responses streamed into the same thread for each person in the group to see.

Hello - I am somewhat new to the system. I have been able to generate a report on transferred calls but it only shows me who the call went to. I would like to know where the call came from (what skill and agent). Anyone already do this?

I have the Plantronics V5200 Bluetooth headset, I have my MAC app RingCentral setup to integrate with it. I get calls on my MAC and when I try to answer with the headset it does nothing, online it says I should be able to answer, hangup and mute calls. The only way to answer calls is to press "Answer" on the app. Am I missing something? I have the Plantronics Hub installed and it sees my device as a PC connection only since I can't get it to see it in Bluetooth. Any one get this working? Thanks

I have 10 local numbers and 2 toll free numbers. From my android app, I can select from which number I want to place an outbound call and done. The question is:I have a cisco 8861(Desktop) and I see the 10 lights green and all of them are as one name or yet. My concern is how can I set up in a way that I will know from which local number will I place the outbound call since all caller ID are on the same name.Also, how can I create or edit each number with a different caller id? Perhaps this would solve it..... Having too much fun a night before the holliday!tks,

If a user extension has custom hours and is part of a ring group, will the ring group hours override the user hours?Scenario: Front desk / Reception has a cordless phone so they can answer calls when away from the desk at the beginning of the day. The cordless has an annoying ring so custom hours have been programmed so the device will not ring during the day. However when the user extension is added to the reception ring group, calls go right through.Is there a why to force the user extension to respect the custom hours while being part of a ring group?

Allow Editing "Roles" so that a manager could see "user status", but not be able to adjust the call handling. This would protect the company and allow managers to view reports and assess performance.

Why do I have a red dot with the number 2 on my desktop taskbar icon when I don't have any unread Glip messages or missed calls? I have tried logging out and restarting the Glip application and it is cleared, but as soon as new messages start coming in, the red 2 appears again. Can anyone help with this?
