UK accountThe PRS/PPL have contacted us to pay for licensing for using the hold music within RingCentral and inContact.RingCentral and inContact have not been able to come back to us with ownership rights.We can change the provided music to out of copyright classical/ other non copyright music but we are surprised that the paperwork isn't available to prove that we don't require a licence/that the owners of the copyright have agreed our use.Has anyone else encountered this? I work for a restaurant company in San Francisco and we rely heavily n talking to customers to ensure their experience is the best possible. would like to be able to have my callers have the chance to be transferred back to the phone after hearing my voicemail prompt. So they have one more chance to catch me in person before leaving a message.Even if this means that the caller has to hit an extension number it would be handy t have that option at the end as well.

how do you install your desl top phone?

I need to be able to send SMS messages to customers (numbers not in our contact directory) using the Glip mobile app and the Glip desktop app.I have found this: https://support.ringcentral.com/s/article/RingCentral-Business-SMS-Frequently-Asked-Questions?language=en_USwhich says that I can do it through the phone app - but we use the Glip App not the Phone App (which I believe you are supposed to be integrating and removing the old phone app?)How do I do this? And can I select which of the company numbers the message is sent from?UK account, 200 users.

How do I stop my RingCentral deskto phone from randomly ringing? There is no notifications, missed calls, voicemails, but the phone continues to ring every minute.

We're rolling out RingCentral phone in the company.Since this monday, we've got a new issue in the RingCentral Chrome Extension settings.Some employees cannot authorize the access to Google Contacts. When they click on Google Authorize buttton nothing happens. They don't see the new display with the login screen from google. For other employees in the same session, it works.Worst, as a trainer, I've disconnected the autorization. Now, I cannot authorize the Google contacts access.Same issue on Chrome Extension on windows or chromeOS on a chromebook.I've seen the same issue in this community but it was a year ago for an older version of the extension.We are in the last version of the extension 4.1.14, last version of chrome, employees are in the same google and microsoft organization units.The IT department has opened a ticket on RingCentral support.Are we the only ones to meet this new issue ? Does anyone has the solution ?Thanks for your help

We have assumed another business and the calls are coming to my business phone only. I would like for the calls to appear under the different business name so that I may answer accordingly. This has created a confusion for customers who call in. We are an orthodontic supply company and the new company is a business previously owned by a speaker who taught orthodontics. Is there a way to upload #s in groups for texting more than one at a time?

I have attempted to delete unread faxes, and every time I reopen my computer in the morning, they show up again. So I continually have 11 unread items showing, which then removes my ability to use the "red dot" as my indicator for new messages. Please help. Why won't these stay deleted?

I can not send SMS but can receive them. Texting is the main way i conduct daily business with my clients I need help immediately. I already contacted support they escalated the issue to the tier 2 team but i ave not received a call back I need assistance As Soon As Possible.

Is there an uninstaller for Mac? Support is telling me no (they first said to just delete the app), but it leaves items for RingCentral and Glip in ~/Library/Application Support. Not sure where else it leaves things...

Using latest Plantronics Hub (Ver 3.13.2 build 41952) with Voyager Focus UC. Under Settings - Software Settings - Target Softphone there is no option for RingCentral. What should I select? I'm having constant issues with the popup "Plantronics Device Controls Disabled". RingCentral KB ID 10726 is not helpful at all. I'm thinking that the proper selection of "Target Softphone" with the Hub software might help.

hello, trying to get approval for my company to use ring central however we will need to be able to disable the download feature for the faxes and voicemails. will this be an added feature in the upcoming updates?

We have imported all staff cell numbers into our company contacts on RingCentral.If a staff member calls another's RingCentral number using their cell phone, RingCentral does not identify the caller, even though the cell number is in our company contacts. Can it be changed so that RingCentral can identify a caller from any of the numbers listed on their contact entry?(We are encouraging our staff to use RingCentral, and not their cell phone native app, when they are calling each other, but there are times when it may be better to use their cell phone rather than RingCentral to call a colleague.)

Wondering if there is a way in Ring Central to forward incoming text messages to a mobile phone like you can do in Google Voice?

I recently updated the Ring Central desktop app for Mac to version 19.5.2.This version seems to have no Contacts. It did not transfer my existing contacts, and I can't find a place to add new contacts. Below is a screenshot of the dashboard of the app on my desktop.This doesn't look like the pictures in the desktop user guide.

Have my user account configured to ring my desktop softphone and my mobile application on incoming calls which works (both apps ring). However when I answer the call on my mobile phone, the call does not connect.Conversely, when attempting to initiate a call via the RingCentral app on my mobile phone, once I dial the number and press the green button, the next screen shows a "Connecting...." message for a few seconds and then a popup appears about the app unable to connect to the network (hard to get the entire message since the popup only stays on screen for a second or two).All other parts of the RingCentral app seem to work normally.Have uninstalled, rebooted, and re-installed the app with not change in behavior.Phone is a OnePlus 6T, running the international version of the firmware on the T-Mobile network.Have not yet attempted to make or receive calls while the phone is connected to WiFi.

I just found out RingCentral can listen to my voice messages. That is not acceptable. This is a law firm and I our voice messages must be strictly confidential. You must change this so it is not possible for you to listen to a law firm's voice messages.

We are changing our company name and are getting a new website domain along with new a new email domain.How do I change the stand-alone Glip to our new email domain and also change individual users' email addresses?

Customers call us and give their name at the prompt. Why am I no longer able to hear that voice prompt when I pick up the call using the mobile app? And why isn't their name prompt recorded on Call Recording with the rest of the call?I used to hear the name prompt before accepting the call. I don't anymore...

When will RingCentral allow MMS messages to go to personal contacts, and the personal contacts in the thread be able to see the message and who is in the group? And be able to respond to the entire group. It will be nice to be able to message a group (from personal contacts) and be able to get responses streamed into the same thread for each person in the group to see.
