RingEX: Phone, SMS, & Fax

We're a UK RingCentral customer and currently use the Unified (all-in-one) app for Glip and Phone capabilities. I'm told that the US also have Meetings integrated into the Unified app but this is not out in the UK yet, thus we are using a separate application for that. When will RingCentral UK unified app include meetings?RingCentral to Salesforce integration - We're having troubles with opening the SalesForce integration on the unified app, the screen asks me to log in, after logging into SalesForce through the RingCentral unified app I get a blank screen. Support have told me that this integration is not yet working, so not sure why we even have the option to set it up yet?Salesforce to RingCentral integration - When logged into Salesforce.com I have linked our RingCentral account to this and am able to make outbound calls ONLY using our main company number, when trying to dial out as my direct dial I receive an error. I want to do a warm transfer where I have both clients on phone at same time where I can introduce both and then I want to hang up, but while still allowing the 2 parties to talk. How can I do this?

According to the August 2019 release notes for the RingCentral desktop app https://support.ringcentral.com/s/article/Release-Notes-August-2019-RingCentral?language=en_US, the default outbound caller ID for text and fax should be customizable but it does not appear to be in version 19.7.1Is there a newer version coming soon?

I noticed when I installed the RC app for desktop that I had zero contacts available (the RC App for ios does, as does the RC Phone desktop and Meetings app).Today I relented and reached out to RC support. I had a lengthy chat discussion with Maribel. She took control of my screen so she could see first hand that I had no contacts populating in the RC App. After going back and forth on screen-share playing with the app, she decided to consult with someone on her team. The end result was her coming back to tell me that the RC Desktop app contacts "feature" wasn't available yet but it was being worked on.IE - the RC app you use to communicate with people - calling, SMS etc has no functionality to load or sync contacts, essentially rendering the app pretty close to useless. I know this can't be right, RC isn't going to release an app that you can't use.I see posts in the support forum about random contacts issues, issues with certain address books syncing or the

USDeskstop IP PhoneWhile I am out of the office I do not want calls coming to my phone instead I want to transfer those calls to another extension. If the caller selects option 3 which is my line, I want those calls to go to ext 5 instead so I never have a voice mail left while I am gone.

Hey thereCanada account but Ive noticed something if I were to dial my number from my cell , it doesn't appear to ring i the app also on my cell just rings and then eventually goes to vmail.. Any ideas?Update : They now are coming through

I would like to connect Bria to Ring Central if possible. Mainly because Bria has an extensive support for Siri for example can go beyond saying hey Siri call but you can actually have Siri read messages etc. Bria supports SMS via SIP SIMPLE or XMPP are either of these supported by Ring Central

We have 5 ring central phones. I am trying to figure out how to transfer call from a ring central phone to a agents cell phone that is not in office.

I am having trouble getting links to show up with a preview in my group chats when sending a message from an email.The exact same message being sent from the same account shows up differently when posted.Ex. if you paste "http://www.orimi.com/pdf-test.pdf" on any chat when using Glip app, the preview of the test.pdf would appear, however if it was delivered "via email", it would only display the link.

Hello there!We have about 10 Polycom IP 6000s in our office, the majority of them seem to be locking up once a week or so. Rebooting them seems to bring them back, but not a good situation when staff are running into meetings. They're all PoE powered by a HP ProCurve 48 port switch.Any help would be appreciated!

Hi Ring Central support,Damon Gaffney (Ring Central phone # 214-263-1769) is having serious issues with his Ring Central app. I spent over an hour trying to trouble shoot with support on Friday. The below screen shots show the issues that Damon is experiencing. At this point, Damon is completely unable to rely on RingCentral for business purposes and it needs to be remedied ASAP.I spoke to support for over an hour, sent a detailed email, and have not received any communication back. Below is my original message to support.In the below screen shot, you can examples of text chains with two people that are causing issues. There is no audio when answering a call on the mobile app. Often incoming calls are routed directly to voicemail without ringing on the mobile app. But when they do come throgh there is only silence. Outgoing calls function perfectly. Calls to my direct extension work properly. This is issue occurs when callers select the caller queue that connects to my extension (and of which I am the only member). I use both the RC mobile app and the RC desktop app (Glip for both). If I set a status on mobile, it will be reflected for all users, except for myself when I'm using desktop app.Why is this?

I have a Andriod 9s and a employee as a Andriod 10. When we are on a call with a customer, sometime during the call (usually 2 - 4 min into it) the customer on the other end can no longer hear my voice. I have found that if I go to the app while on the call and switch it from device to speaker and then back, they can hear me once again. This is happening on nearly every call for both of us. Is there a setting I need to look at or fix for this?

When I receive a call, the customer name is not populating. I'd just like to add their name for future conversations but I don't know how to do this. Can you assist?

Hello we are switching across to Ring Central in the next few weeks. We have an existing Cisco 800 series router and would like to continue to use this if possible. Does anyone know if it is possible to use this router and if so the settings required for configuration and setup for use with Ring Central (1-9 users). Any input gratefully received.

When using the RingOut feature from desktop (not the app, directly through the Ring Central website), it allows me to make the call, but the caller hears our voicemail recording instead of a live person. Why is this even happening if we're calling out from the program?We currently have all of our incoming calls forwarded to voicemail.

I have been connecting to my workplace glip account without issue for just over a year. But the past few days/weeks, I've been having increasing problems connecting. for the past year or so I've been able to connect from any device without issue, but in the past week or two I haven't been able to connect through Chrome. I don't log in terribly often so I switched to Microsoft Edge which worked for a while but no longer. Not I have to use Internet Explorer or the Android app.The problem is I get an error reading: "Your connection to RingCentral Office services has been lost. To restore access, please sign in again." i have deleted all messages and red light still flashing on my polycom. I unplug and it clears until i get another message then it stays on again...unplugging is only way to clear?

Here is the scenario.... I have 5 Customer Service Reps with desktop phones. All 5 are on the phone with customers. 5 more customers call while the 5 are on calls...None of the 5 Customer Service Reps know that there is another incoming call to answer.Customer lets phone ring for 30 seconds and hangs up and calls a competitor.If the 5 Customer Service Reps saw another incoming call, they should be able to put their current call on hold and answer the other call.How can I resolve this issue other than hiring more Customer Service Reps or adding a 2nd desktop phone to every Customer Service Rep???

How are we supposed to hire new employees when there are no numbers for our area code? San Francisco (415) has no available numbers! We need phones for our new employees. What can we do to get a phone number ASAP, as we have a new employee hitting the ground in seven days?
