RingEX: Phone, SMS, & Fax

We are a small practice- all of our text messages to patients are conversational, not automated, no marketing whatsoever, so we don't have an opt-out option unless they tell us not to text them. How do we gain consent for each patient in a way that Ring will approve to register a brand?

I use ring central so that whole family can reach me via voice and text in europe from the US.I am NOT a business!!! I dont have a tax EIN nor an "brand". How do I register so that I'm not blocked by Tmobile?

Hello, we have submitted a TCR request for our company months ago at this point aswell as filled out the TCR request when it became available on the service portal. Ive received no response from support on what is going on with our request. My users can not send text messages to other users. This is affecting our business and how we communicate internally. Can someone please tell me what is going on with our TCR request?Case ID's 17344909, 17542641

When I send a text, I get a message back saying message not sent.

Now that registration is available thru the Admin Portal, it feels like I need to Re-Do my registration, but I uploaded it weeks ago. Any suggestions?

Why are users down with SMS if all users have until 3/31 to comply with the new rules? The fix should not be case by case and “we are investigating” just open it up globally while you then fix individual issues. We are literally losing business. @Becky-Community_Manager

We want to add information at the end of text messages, such as a Disclaimer. Is this possible?

I have been trying to submit my TCR and get it approved for months now. We've lost the ability to text and regained it, so I thought everything was fine. Today I get an email from RC Support telling me that the TCR failed because of "(12) - Incorrect Opt-In/Opt-Out/Help Message". I am struggling to figure out what exactly they want these messages to say. I have used the company name and made it clear what phrases should be used to opt in/out. Does anyone have any guidance on what has worked for them?

What is going on that SMS messages are down ? I tried calling Ringcentral and some Indian guy answered you can barely understand anything.

If we don't send SMS messages and only make/receive phone calls, then nothing further is needed? We randomly receive texts tp us, but I don't think that applies. Any help is appreciated.

In call queue, is there a way to set up the Primary and Overflow Members without changing the call handling preference to Rotational of Sequential? If my front line staff are not available to answer the call I would like for it to ring to another group at the same time for any of them to pick up. Trying to prevent our customers from waiting for someone to answer.

After adding a monitored extension to my phone and enabling my phone to ring when that extension is dialed, their is only 1 audible ringm then the line extension just flashes. (Actually, just a half of a ring). Can the number of audible rings be increased?

How can my mobile users see the entire company call log through the mobile app?

Thankful to have found this RingCentral Community Forum. I tried to get my question answered via the TCR Registration dedicated phone support but I had them confused I believe. I am assuming I only need to register the phone number we and our customers use, and not the "Company Main" number (not published anywhere) we received when we enrolled in RingCentral. Is that correct?Also, we only us conversational texts and I have seen multiple questions about that. Customers reach out to us in this manner first and we respond accordingly. I am understanding we still need to create opt-in and opt-out messages and procedures, but am sure hoping not. Could you provide guidance on this?I have registered for your March 8th webinar on this topic but worry I am running out of time to meet the March 31 deadline.Thank you!

We have setup a dedicated HR Fax line to receive inbound faxes using its own number.Is there a way that HR employees can send out faxes using the "HR Fax" line as the outbound number? We are trying to avoid confusion when sending outbound faxes, as they show up as the individual user's fax number at the moment.Also, if the above is not possible, are there any other recommendations on how to accomplish something similar?

Do I need to setup a campaign if I am not sending texts and only receiving them? I did the TCR registration. That should be enough. Do I need to worry about sms getting disabled without a campaign?

Hello All,I have RC App deployed on my desktop (PC), hard phone (poly) in the office, mobile phone (iPhone) and mobile (iPad). For the most part, I have no issues. However, I have noticed strange behavior on the mobile (iPad) several times.If a call rings all my devices (i.e. a Queue Call), even if it gets answered by another agent (or myself), the call keeps ringing my mobile (iPad) until I pick it up. I will not time out. It just keeps ringing (even if the call is gone).If a fax comes to my extension, often I may get 1 ring and it moves on to connect to fax. However, even those calls continue to ring on my mobile (iPad). I have waited up to 2-3 minutes and it just keeps ringing.In both call types, it appears that the mobile (iPad) is not made aware of a call termination.Has anyone else experienced this issue?

Has anyone had luck reactivating their SMS after the registration?? The amount of customers who are complaining that they cannot reach us is growing, and I cannot get anyone on the phone to help me out. I submitted the form and a ticket but no word back. All while I am paying for this service!!

Confused on the registration. Is Ring Central charging $40 do facilitate the registration process of registering my SMC? They provided me the attached form to fill out for the registry process. Is this all I need to do? is fill out that form and send it to Ring Central. Also, why can't I just submit the form to the csp.campaignregistry.com or should I use Ring Central because there advantages of using you guys to facilitate this process.

After registering your SMS phone number business name with the registry, Will consumers now have caller id when you text them to see who is calling. For instance if your company name is Billy Bang Shrimp company. Will the customer automatically see that name when receiving a text. I do not want my callers to see the company name because I use one phone to service three of my companies and it would confuse them to get a caller id call form a different company

For texting I use the Window Desktop app and get charged only when I go over my monthly limits. 1) I need to know what all the costs are associated with the changes in the text industry and Ring Centrals service fee changes) What are the TCR re-occurring fees?b) Ring Central re-occurring feesc) Text fees. How many texts per month are free under the premium plan. What is the exact cost for over usage.d) Ring Central Brand fees2) Regarding new campaign brand. Will on campaign cover all my different texting message, including back and forth texting to my customers, mass texting to invite customer to join my service list, mass appointment reminders, etc, etc3) My TCR registration is pending. Can I go ahead and create the Campaign brand or do I need to way for my TCR application to get accept

We don't use SMS for anything but texting our store managers if they are having an issue that requires them to call us back for support. We have never texted a customer, and have no mechanism to ever send SMS campaigns. Anything to do with marketing SMS/Email is 100% outsourced third-party for them to send and is managed on their own hosted systems. I'm struggling with understanding how I am supposed to fill out a form that is not applicable to our business and yet keep SMS to our internal employees.

I have been trying to get SMS approval for over a month. I spend 2 hours a day on hold with Ring central. This is truly affecting our business and every time I call I am transferred multiple times to diff people until I am finally hung up on with no call back. This is so disappointing. I just do not understand why someone can not just tell me what the issue is. Feels like I am calling a company that has 4 employees in the Philippines who are very friendly but have no authorization to do anything. CAN ANYONE HELP ME?? Just don't know what to do anymore.
