I'd like to follow up the feature request of mass-texting. Instead of copy and pasting one phone number at a time from a spreadsheet; is there a way where you can choose multiple cells on the Excel and paste it to Ring Central App to mass text?

It would be very efficient if there was a feature where the Ringcentral user is able to download all the pictures sent through Ringcentral by the customer. It is very time-consuming when the user has to go to each picture one by one to download the picture.

We're trying to integrate SMS: links in our internal web app to trigger the Windows desktop RC app to be able to send out a SMS. We can use tel: links for placing calls just fine, but when sms links are clicked, the RC app isn't one of the options Windows presents the user.We also tried the rcapp:// urls, but that doesn't open the correct RC app.Are standard SMS links supported, or is there another scheme for opening this specific app, or some other trick to get Windows to recognize and link sms links to the standard desktop app?

Does anyone else agree that we are paying too much to be receiving so many robo spam calls and inappropriate text messages on Ring Central?

We have registered one of our numbers for High Volume SMS, followed the link to High Volume SMS https://ringcentral-a2p-sms.herokuapp.com/, but it gets me too the TF SMS page https://ringcentral-toll-free-sms.herokuapp.com/loadsmspage and there is no number for me to select in the drop down. I am sure I am missing something?

Is there a way to recover accidentally deleted text messages? Texts were deleted in the RC Phone app on an iOS device. We can do this for deleted voicemail messages within 5 days by signing into the portal site.

One of our admin could text and now all of a sudden the option is gone and she gets the error " A valid Phone Number is required to send text message to recipients outside of your company, Please contact your Administrator to add a direct number to your account." Does anyone have any idea what happen? All our other offices can text and all the settings are the same.

With the newer version of Ring Central app, the developing team also included to show time stamps on every text that you send or receive. Which is annoying at times because me and my coworker text a lot for business and on my phone screen it only shows 3-4 msgs and 8 time stamps when those msgs were texted which is basically the same time i.e. less than within a min texting time.So ideally like how iPhone's iMessage has a feature of hiding the time stamp and slide left on the text message to see what time it was recd or sent will save a lot of space on screen for back in forth texters like me. If we cannot have the feature like iMessage , we can always go back to the previous texting time stamp patterns.To be honest - its the most annoying thing to see time stamps more than texts their(highlighted with red lines) - for more clarifications I've attached a text snapshot between 2 co-workers.

How can SMS message can be printed from RingCentral desktop app? There I can see no print option given to print a conversation thread.

does anyone know how to turn off emails for every text message received? I tried under preferences but I'm still getting emails.

My boss is wanting to know if there is a way to stop people from texting our Ring Central phone number? It's not that I can't receive the messages and forward them to her through email, she just doesn't want people sending text messages to the office number.If there's not a way to stop people from texting, is there a way to send an auto-reply to texters saying "Message undeliverable" or something?

US accountSMS suddenly stopped working for main office number.I use Glip on my Android phone. I have the RingCentral for Google extension on my Windows computer. I have an extension inside Zoho for RingCentral SMSing.As of Friday or Saturday, I can no longer use the main office number to send out SMS. In the notifications area, you can set the service up so it notifies you via SMS if you have a message. It asks you to put your phone number in and list the carrier. Tmobile is not listed, though they are a major carrier, how can we get this to work?

I've been experiencing sms issues it has been solved many time but the same problem it is keep coming up back and I'm unable to send text messages as ringcentral have blocked some keywords if I type those keywords even by mistake my number get blocked and I'm unable to send text messages.

Texting from RC

We are looking for a way to securely back up our text messages. I looked in our online account for the RingCentral Archiver, but could not find it, it appears it is not included in our contract. Can you please tell me what the additional cost is for the Archiver and if there is another way to securely back up our text messages? Thank you

Hi! I have a US account and am using RingCentral Phone to mass text people. Now that we're working from home, we are running into issues with our existing staff mass texting prospects and clients but having all texts create a giant group text, with no option to send an individual text to all people. We are currently using version history 20.x, but we have had success using version 19.4 of the phone app in our workplace and have had no issues mass texting to individuals with that version. Is there any place we can get a download link for Windows and Mac phone app version 19.4 for me to send to my staff? Thanks for your help!

Up until last week, we were able to select the plus sign next to "Direct messages" and there was a hyperlink for or "Send Text" that is no longer here. How do we send new text messages to a number now?

Texting my contact

I've just started using the RC Desktop app (Mac OSX), and I like the convenience of exchanging SMS text messages with my clients (who are not RC customers).What I can't figure out is how to edit the profile of the telephone number with which I am exchanging SMS messages to include my client's name. It's difficult to scan the list of messages/conversations and have to identify my clients purely by their phone number.I don't want to "invite" my clients to RingCentral. What other solution is there? There's got to be something simple that I am just overlooking.

Texting from desktop app I'm getting this error message: Message is not sent. Message cannot be sent. You previously sent messages using another phone number.I only have one number? And I can't text from my extension?

Multiple Text Users needed

The App interface appears to have changed, as I no longer see an option to select a "from" number -- in act, the entire "from" data field appears to be missing.
