Hi, I need to have a US number that can receive verifications SMS for business purposes, sort of OTPs. Can ring central number do that?

We’ve had our texting campaign approved and has been in “Setup in Progress” for over a month. It dawned on me last week that maybe the setup was taking so long because I only added our main company line which is directed to our auto-receptionist. I added my direct number last week and sure enough I see texting available in my RC app.We are a small office and our clients are only aware of our main phone number and fax number, so naturally when they try to text us they text our main line. Is it possible to use texting with a number that is assigned to an auto-receptionist?Also, we still have our old texting service which receives texts to our main line - would this conflict with RC? I didn’t want to cancel it until we got RC up and running.

My application was rejected due to the following below.  Can someone please clarify for me.  I have NO idea what this means and I cannot find a solution within the community.  Someone else was denied for the exact same 2 reasons but no clarity was given.  It was just stated that someone would get in touch with them.  If multiple applications are getting denied due to the same reasons you would think they would post what it means and be more clear.  Thanks in advance for you help!    Thanks, 

Hi,I need help please with submitting my TCR registration.  I have tried 4 times now, and still is rejected, but it is unclear why.  I am a small business and trying to use the ringcentral phone for basic communication with my customers.  How can I get specific help with how to complete this for my industry?  There seems to be confusion on what is prohibited or not, and looking at the guidelines what I do is not prohibited, but ringcentral keeps telling me it is, because I don’t have a person who is looking at my account, and seeing what has worked with businesses that are similar in my industry. Other phone carriers (not ringcentral) are approving businesses in my industry and I really don’t want to have to switch my phone # to another carrier (what a hassle after purchasing the phones, and setting up the system and porting my # to ringcentral this year!) just because I can’t get help with how to complete for my industry. Are SMS text templates shareable between team members? We have a team of recruiters that would use the same messaging. If we create a template, can all have access to it? If so, what are the steps to do this?

I am trying to register for SMS for the business. It has been a long and difficult process. The latest correction is “Screenshot of SMS opt-in consent language required”. I'm not even sure where I do this on the application. Can someone help?

Hi,i am very frustrated and concerned about my TCR registration. I submitted a form back in January that was rejected. I have since resubmitted the pdf form but was also instructed to submit through the admin portal. The Enhanced Business SMS option is not available through the portal. I have an open ticket Case #17266228 to try to figure out why I don't have the portal option.Meanwhile, the 2nd pdf from I submitted and uploaded is not yet in status of "received:. I have called the tcr registration team and my account rep, daily, with no answers. Please help. I desperately need to text my customers; my business is more dependent on texting than phones. I am at the point of looking at other vendors like 8X8 and moving my phone system to them if they can get my account registered in a timely manner.

How many years must we have to wait for SMS to be added as a functionality for Australian RingCentral customers?!What is the hold-up?  Every RingCentral representative says it’s on the roadmap, but currently unsupported.  What if we had every RingCentral client in Australia contact RingCentral support within the same week submitting this complaint and feature request?  Or maybe we have a strike and refuse to pay invoices until there is action on getting the service added?

Now they’re saying the problem is with the opt-in on the website, but it’s there under the "Contact Us" section. I’m not sure what else to do. I have continuously gotten denied, paid multiple fees due to the denials and now I’m being prompted that:Opt-Out language missing from sample messages Compliant privacy policy is required on website.What does this even mean? there is no guidance on this on RingCentral’s website. This is dumb - If you’re denied - you shouldn’t get charged time and time again to re-submit. 

Hi everyone,I'm trying to configure my RingCentral setup to route calls and text messages to specific operators, but I'm a bit stuck on how to get it working exactly the way I want.Here's the situation:I have a main company phone number (number1) and an operator1 phone number (number2) I would like operator1 to ONLY receive the text messages and voice calls to number2 (their direct line) I would like operator2 to receive BOTH SMS and Voice calls for both number1 (the main company line) and number2 (their own line)Essentially, operator1 should only handle their own direct communication, while operator2 needs to be able to field everything coming in to both lines.Is this possible to configure within RingCentral?I've been brainstorming a few ideas, but I'm not sure if they're the best or even feasible:Create a new RingCentral account (account2) and have

I have a message auto-reply built inside of the automator to send an SMS reply when anyone sends an SMS message containing a certain keyword to our main phone number (successcully registered TCS and campaign) and when I test it from the automator “test” button it works great.  Then when I enable it and try the exact same steps no auto-reply happens.  I don’t know where else to look or what else to try.. PLEASE HELP!  The company is losing patience with the process and has threatened to look to other solutions. I would very much prefer to not do that and start all over.

Our campaign was just declined. The campaign registration is geared towards marketing SMS messages. We do not send any marketing SMS messages to our client. We ONLY text clients when they text us first. How are we supposed to get a campaign approved when it asks us for specific opt in wording that we send to clients? They opt in by texting us first and we therefore respond. That's it. I don't understand how this is supposed to work and it's completely ruining small business SMS.

Hello All,I am using Ring central CTI in the salesforce.I configured the all the thing using Ring Central Setup Guide.After adding a lead into cadence When I am going to place an Outbound call from Work Queue, and create a log from Dialer the lead is not moving in the next Cadence Step.But if i am saving a call log from the Global action of log a call which is opens when placing an outbound call then the lead is moving into the next cadence  Step. Why it is not working from the dialer. 

We communicate with our clients on a one to one basis.  We NEVER broadcast texts or sms messages.  We have completed the TCR form 3 x and failed each.  We have had4-5 conversations with RC TCR “specialists” and recently forwarded a copy to RC at their request of our privacy policy that is on the web site and still no one seems to be able to explain to us what we need to do to be compliant.  I tried to explore Textbot on the RC applications page and the appears to no longer be available.   We are a very compliant company … yet this situation baffles us.  I would never recommend Ring Central to someone who intends to use their system for texting. Can anyone suggest next steps? Thx,

I have revised my tcr and my privacy policy on my website was written by my lawyer. Still was acceptable by tcr registration. What else can I do to get texts working for my company? This is important for my business to communicate with customers. Thanks for looking into this

My company uses RC phone lines for calls and texting conversational messages. While we use Sensehq to send mass text messages on the RC lines. However, once our TCR campaign was approved, our texting ability on RC is no longer available, Sense is fine and we can text on Sense. I was told that we should not be able to text from both RC and Sensehq on the same phone line. Has anyone else run into this problem and is that statement true? Thanks. 

My HR department is trying to answer questions of prospective employees about substance screening policies and any time they use a word like THC or Weed or (take your choice of controlled substance) the SMS message "cannot be sent". Any ideas how to turn this feature off?

regarding the recent notice: Verizon has announced that it is no longer accepting “vtext” SMS messages from non-PTN numbers. What is vtext? What is a non-PTN number? Does this mean I can't text with my customers anymore with the Ring Central app?

we recently migrated over to RingCentral service but have not activated the SMS feature.  I am trying to get pricing before I turn it on.  The exact cost, monthly fees, setup fees, cost per message etc 

I am with Clean Slate Tax, users of RingCentral and we use texting more to reach our clients that we made it part of our sales process. Is there any way to get reports of users for the amount of texts sent, when, and so on? If there isn't, then is there a way to get reports of how many text each user sends? I would like to request that.
