Looking for some documentation on how to implement a Screen Pop to a URL when a customer receives a call to their Soft Phone. If anyone has any links or PDFs they could forward that would be much appreciated.

My iPad is cellular capable, but how do I make RingCentral my iPad's cell carrier? (I would like to make and receive phone calls from my iPad without having to get an iPhone. Thanks to anyone who replies.)

I have a keyboard with media controls (volume, play, pause, next track, previous track, etc...) Recently I realized that the play button stops working correctly after I receive a call with Ring Central, it can be a phone call or a video call, but the thing is once I get a call the button stops working correctly. Supposedly, according to some things I've seen online, I can use the play button to answer the call. Once I end Ring Central's process and start it again the button behaves normally until I get another call. I realized the button would also work if I press the windows key along with the play button, but if I just press "Play" nothing happens until I restart Ring Central. This has happened on 3 different machines, 2 of them with a completely new installation of windows one with windows 10, and one with windows 11. I haven't tried just using the web version, but I would like to keep using the desktop version and be able to use my keyboard correctly.I&#39

I am testing Ring Central API to determine if it is a good fit for our company.I am getting around 6 second second response times for subscription notifications in the development environment. Is this normal? Or is it because I am located in Australia?I am listening for: /restapi/v1.0/account/~/presenceWhen I change my status, or start a call using the RC Phone app, it takes about 6 seconds before the event is triggered. I have tried using PubNub and WebHooks and get the same result. The code that I have is just subscribing to the event, then logging to console when triggered. Hello everyone, I'm making a widget for Zoho CRM using RingCentral Call, I'm basing myself on this guide to do it. https://www.zoho.com/developer/help/extensions/ringcentral-widget.htmlIn order to try it, first I download the official demo version from the guide, the github is https://github.com/ZohoDevelopers/RingCentralWidgetSo I just downloaded it without modifying anything, I uploaded it to Zoho Sigma and it works fine, the problem arises that when I log in, after entering the credentials, the widget stays frozen, that is, I finish entering credentials, the pop up closes and the widget window still stays on login, I tried to find the solution but I can't find what can cause it.

Ring Central and iPhone/Outlook calendar integration - problem. when a meeting is booked in my outlook calendar, but accessed for click "click and join" on an iPad, Ring Central seems to assume that I wish to have the link be a telephone access and shows/links to the dialin number, when I would prefer to have the "click and join" link (i.e. open the safari browser to join) be to internet as iPad visual and audio connection is preferred (and not just telephone); is there a way to change this behavior/assumption that RingCentral seems to be trying to force on me?

Is there a way to set up auto-reply for texts?

We have set up the Dynamics-RC integration. How can we customize the side panel to give users the option to mark the phone call activity as 'complete'? This is very frustrating for users without the option as it leaves Activities marked as 'open'. Thanks.

Our company would like the ability to have multiple office extensions to use our main company number to send and receive text messages from our employees on the road (truck drivers). We currently use another product, with another number, and would like to consolidate to remove confusion.

Is it possible to get a speaker timeline for calls recorded on Ringcentral using API? Or even get recording for each speaker on separate channels

I am having trouble developing with rate limits in mind. Is there a way to simulate the rate limits being exceeded for sending sms and getting messages?

With other apps such as webex, I can start the meeting on my desktop, and then join it on my phone, such as when I need to step away from my desktop while the meeting is in progress. If I try to join, it only saysThis seems like an odd limiitation?

I am not getting all of my inbound text messages. This has been going on for a few days. I sent myself separate text messages today in this order: "1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6" ... I only got 1, 4, 6 (out of order) and 5 .. I have had clients commenting that I have not responded to their text messages. I have not received them, nor have I received the notification emails from RingCentral. 

I am not receiving texts from a speciific person on group text. I do receive from this person one on one. Does this have something to do with their provider?

Hi,I'm using my ringcentral developer account to work on a ringcentral app, which by default calls using at the main business number. In order to avoid having to wait for the main company number to become available, I needed to know if the main number was growing busy and, if so, if I could obtain another number instead.

We do quite a bit of conference calls where we call a 3rd party while on the phone with a customer. When we are done, it seems we do not have the ability to hang up on the 3rd / last party dialed.Is there something we could be missing?We are using softphones as opposed to desk phone, in the event that changes any options. I have noticed this problem in latest windows 11 client installs on a domain, it installs fine on administrator accounts and the ringcentral app shortcut shows on desktop under the usersadministratorappdata ingcentral path. However, once you login as a standard user the shortcut is no longer there nor is it in the users????appdata ingcentral folder path. Its not a matter of pinning or creating a shortcut to a user or even putting into the publicdesktop folder as some suggested on another forum because it originally installs from the users administrator account, so if you end up creating a shortcut naturally you will get access denied because of the permissions not being set. I have noticed this only on Domain joined machines and non domain machines with windows 11. Ok, RC you might blame windows 11 for this, but im sure your devs can put a new client out there to fix this, it shouldn't be that difficult.The workaround I have found is this:Give the standard user admin rights tempora

The RingCentral app has disappeared from the Start menu in a Windows 10 laptop and another Windows 10 desktop machine, apparently after a recent Windows update. The program was loading to a blank screen. After I updated to the latest version of the app, the program is now working, but it still doesn't show up in the Start menu. Any idea what's going on?

We have a few users who use headsets exclusively and would love to use the headset control function from the app, however when that is turned on, their headset controls work, but their Topaz signature pads do not initialize and clients cannot sign documents. Once they turn off the headset control button in the app and restart the computer it works. Weird interaction/interference between the RC software and the Topaz driver.

Is there a way to archive text messages for compliance?

Is the performance report and analytics call log information based solely on the call made from one particular type if device? We have people who used desk phones and those that call from the app on the computer. Do the reports include all of this?

Phone app used to work injunction with desk phones. Dispatcher unable to leave desk top and use restroom because phone app not working for incoming calls. This feature was working!
