Hi,I am new in this segment and looking for your help to implement login flow in which user will login only once and then our web server will catch the access_token. Now I want to know that do we have a method in which I can login the user in the widget using the saved access token. Please help

Hi everyone,Is there a way to have a custom answering rule route to an IVR menu? I tried user extension, but I can't select an IVR extension. For example, for all holidays I would like to have a custom answering rule that routes to simple IVR menu that allows for a greeting to the nature of "Hello. We're closed for the holiday, but if this is an emergency press 9 now and you'll be routed to our emergency response team." If there isn't an official way to do this is there some sort of workaround I could implement?

We just realized that no faxes are being sent for the past three days. We are receiving faxes just fine and the notifcations for calls and texts are still coming through our main line. When I pulled the report of all outgoing faxes for the week, it shows the last fax sent was on Tuesday. We've sent dozens of faxes since then for which no confirmation was received nor do they appear on the log as outgoing. Can anyone help?

we have 5 numbers in ring central and we want to be able. to assign them a different VR so we can get call from each. I have been trying how to call support but been unable to. I created a case and did chat was not given the solution we need

The application only shows calendar events from connected Microsoft or Google accounts. It does not keep track of its own upcoming scheduled meetings. This is a severe limitation when compared to other video conferencing solutions, such as GoToMeeting, which shows upcoming and past meetings inside the desktop application. The Office@Hand/RingCentral desktop applications need to be aware of AT LEAST upcoming scheduled meetings. I believe this is a feature that is sorely needed.

With the introduction of the new all in one RingCentral app, admins can no longer delete Glip-only users on our account that are not tied to a RC phone extension.This is a huge security problem. When a user leaves the company, there's no way to prevent them from continuing to use RingCentral via their Glip-Only login. Even if I delete their email from our organization, it's still a functional login for RingCentral. Short of granting myself permissions to the terminated user's email and then sending a self-reset, I have no way to manage/disable these users.This option still exists in the Classic app. We've been advised that Classic will be retired soon (May?) so there is some real urgency here...

If an agent is locked out of their computer and their Ring Central status is set to "Do not disturb." Is there a mechanism to set their Ring Central status back to available so they can receive phone calls on their physical phone? For example: 3CX allows DTMF codes to set status as away or online.

We have the Ring Central Cisco phone, is there no way to hit call on the PC Ring Central app and have the Cisco phone initiate the call instead of calling directly from the PC app?

Is there any documentation that defines within Auto-Receptionist/General Setting/Location/Custom Answering Rules what Rule overrides what Rule? What I am struggling with is once a month our Sales Department is open on Sunday's while the rest of the departments are closed. Currently we are setup with afterhours custom rules and day custom rules. To accomplish the Sunday opening for sales I was instructed by our install team to update each custom rule each month for sales opening and then revert them back once that Sunday passes. After doing this for the past several months for multiple locations it is getting pretty time consuming. Is there a better way to accomplish this? I "assumed" there wasn't since the install team know way more about the programming than I do.Any help would be appreciated.

We built an application that syncs with clients' CRMs and sends automated text messages from their sales campaigns. New clients are asked to log in and obtain an OAuth Token via Authorization Code Flow. We have a scheduled task that sends an automated text message for any user whose refresh token will expire within two days in order to ensure that users don't have to log in once a week and obtain a new token. This works most of the time, but every so often one of the tokens that we have cached and encrypted fails to refresh when we send the automated text that is supposed to obtain a new token. The error we've been getting for these instances has been an 'OAU-213: Token Not Found'.Can you provide any insight as to why this might be happening? The most recent instance of this occurred this evening (Thursday) for a user whose refresh token isn't set to expire until Saturday.

Every 3 to 5 minutes I am receiving a call that is not being recorded on the ring central server. It is even a blocked number. It usually comes in as 8889207896. Earlier in the day I think it cam in as SIP vicious 101I believe this may be what is called a SIP attach directly to my Polycom vvx 201.Does anyone have a resolution for this type of problem. Ringcentral support had no solution and my ISP had no solution. Is there a way to block this fake call inside the polycom phone?

We have replaced an employee - is there a way to add the new employee to all of the old employee's group and team messages without letting them see the direct messages (personal)?

Been working on an SMS app via Python/Django. I was able to get everything running just fine with the Password based Auth Flow, however, I am looking at using JWT.I setup a sandbox JWT credential and update my sandbox app to use the JWT. Then I copied the login script from https://developers.ringcentral.com/guide/authentication/jwt/quick-start. Just to run a quick test, I just ran this script (after updating my .env file with the the JWT credentials).Now I get an error that "Unable to authenticate to platform. Check credentials.Unauthorized for this grant type"I have found several articles supporting this method and all seems to be setup correctly. I'm not to RC and trying to schedule some meetings. I schedule them and then they disappear! I don't use any of the calendars listed - Does this mean I can never schedule meetings? in which case I'll need to go back to zoom.

We have a team of 5 employees and would like to be able to send and receive texts from a single number, but that everyone will have access to receive/respond to texts. Is there a way to do this? Possibly a messaging API?Currently, we text using our individual work numbers, but if someone gets a response while they're busy or have left for the day, no one else would see it, and often it's time sensitive. We know there's a way to set up every employee to receive an email for inbound texts, but that doesn't solve our issue. Anyone have some insight?

Our text messages all of a sudden stopped working and we received this error message. Nothing in our account has changed, the functions have not changed, we have not changed our phone numbers, and everything was working with no issues until we received this message. How can we fix this?

I need your assistance with VCC Webhooks for long-hold call routing. As I investigated its RingCentral MVP, do we have any webhook to detect real-time a call that has been waiting in the queue for more than 2 minutes and forward this call to a certain external number within the RingCentral Call Center?

Is there a way to turn off the intercom tone? Some staff members claim it is too startling and would be easier not to have one.

Unable to send text (message not sent) since Thurs July 21. A ticket was produced on Friday. I was told it will be resolved within 48 hours. I would also like to know the nature of the cause so we may prevent it from happening again.
