I am working with the ring central API and I would like to build a feature that allows me to make a physical phone receive a call or call out with the number intended. Example:Let's say I click on the link on my application, I would want a certain phone to physically call out. I use SIP-T48G and in my environment.

How is routing determined in Max agent? We have proficiencies set for each skill and agent. However, will calls always route by proficiency level? Calls also route based on who has been in an available state longer, so which overrides the other, proficiency or availability?

What is the length of time when a user is dormant will their status change to Away. Also when the status changes to Away will that remove them from ques?

We had AT&T handheld with Ring Central for 6 months and never received a mailed invoice, text message, email, or got a single phone call...THEN they shut off our account with NO notice. I assumed the bill was attached to our current AT&T phone account and didn't think anything of not receiving a bill. Getting back into the account simply to get our account number was even out of the question. Jumping through hoops (& over $1000 later) we finally got our account reactivated and we are again NOT receiving invoices!!! How do I verify my account billing address, email, etc. How do I view my invoice? Has anyone else had this problem as it has cased us to reconsider going with Spectrum instead or AT&T for this service.

There needs to be a toggle or option to allow Admins to set defaulting out of a menu at one playing instead of three. This is a standard call center process. There is no way to prompt callers to "stay on the line and you will be connected". This doesn't make sense.

Is there more than one place to authorize your sandbox app to have access to the Fax API of RingCentral?I have added faxes in the developers.ringcentral.com section of my registered sandbox app per screen shot, but I still get the following error:sendraise ApiException(response, e)causes this error:ringcentral.http.api_exception.ApiException: In order to call this API endpoint, application needs to have [Faxes] permissionI eventually will switch to a JWT for authentication, but for initial testing I will be using the user login credentials...any chance this is related?Thanks for the help!Fausto

I was able to call Ring Central Analytics API for the user performance, such as missed calls, aggregated by user by a fixed date range, for example, from 2022-03-23 to 2022-03-24. How can I get the API response by user by a dynamic date range, for example, yesterday, given today is 2022-03-25. My ultimate goal is to have the API response daily as below. cannot get calls in to main line

I have made calls attempting to meet requirements for graduation, however, the system is not refreshing. As of this post it shows last refresh was 2020-10-20, 16:23:15 UTC, but currently its 2020-10-20T19:07:56. Site statues updates every 15 minutes, or in some places says an hour. Either way, its been a very long time, how can I get this refresh to happen?

Have a user using RC app on macbook with macOS 10.15.4 (x86_64) . He can send and receive text messages but if he tries to make call using it the call gets stuck on connecting ...... message and never goes through .However works fine when he use same credentials from his iPad . If someone tries to call him the ipad works fine but macbook does not receive any calls and after a few minutes it goes to missed call section . He is not

trying to write a Fax APP interface in python(3.9) using the ringcentral package and the sys module. Whenever app is called with document for transmission I get the following error: decode return codecs.charmap_decode(input,self.errors,decoding_table)[0]UnicodeDecodeError: 'charmap' codec can't decode byte 0x9d in position 65: character maps to <undefined>I believe issue with the the builder.set_body() function, specifically the builder.add(attachment) and how it handles the files being passed. I am logged into my iPad using my business account and business email is shown in settings. I have linked my buiness/outlook calendar. However, when I schedule a meeting it defaults to my personal email address. Any suggestions?

Hello, I have a co-worker who has scheduled a meeting in the RingCentral Desktop app by going to Video/Schedule and it's not showing her a list of her upcoming scheduled meetings. I'm able to follow the same steps and my upcoming meeting list is visible and if I have no meetings scheduled, my screen is showing 'No scheduled meetings'. I believe there is a setting somewhere to display this, however, I have been through all the settings and cannot locate it. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I am looking at the extensions API and I see a businessPhone in the payload. It turns out that this is the best contact number and we do not give most users the ability to update this field. We need to be able to access the direct number assigned to them in RingCentral. Can that be found in an API? The extensions API does provide us with the additional information we need, but I do not see the direct phone number.

Is there a way to set a user template to be applied by default? Like when a user is created it will apply the default user template automatically?
