I'm really happy with the new HUD on the desktop app. My preference is to have the HUD undocked on a separate screen so I can stay on the messages section on the main window but also have the HUD open. Is it possible to have this preference saved or remembered for the next time I open the app?

Is anyone else experiencing issues recently with the ringcentral google chrome extension?Starting in the last week or so we've had several users report that when they make a call the other end can not hear them. As Data Privacy and Compliance Officer I need to see whether anyone's personal details have been transmitted or received by any staff member over RC chat/Glip. How do I do this?

My company has been using RC for ~10 years, and we've had a HUD via the RC 'Phone App' for 5 of those. We've come to rely on the HUD as a visual insight into the status of other users, who's tied up on a call, who's on lunch, etc. Frankly, it might be the feature we value the most in the app.For a long time now I have been watching RC's progress with the new app, waiting for it to be fully functional before I considered migrating my users. This evening I downloaded the new (desktop) app to evaluate it and, much to my shock and surprise, it doesn't appear that this app has a HUD. I just can't imagine this to be true, though, so I am hoping that I've missed a setting somewhere and that it can be turned on? Can anyone shed some light on this mystery for me?PS: I read a ton of documentation before posting this. Hello everyoneMy use case is, I want to join google meet or Zoom call (as a silent participant) through phone no and PIN provided by them, record call and send to my server.Can this be done through any API provided by RingCentral? We have one main fax line for everyone. We would like to have the faxes printed to our main lobby printer. We don't just have one person collecting all the faxes ( whether it be by email or fax).RC only has the option to connecting the fax to a particular user, and then the settings can only be changed on the RC APP under the specific user not the RC website under Admin.Why can't an Admin change the settings to incoming fax on the website, and the settings can only be on the APP of the user?

For some reason, I've stopped being able to see when a specific user is on a call. I've checked under Presence and Permissions, made sure we all have permission to see, and restarted the affected phones. No dice. Is there maybe something on the deskphone itself that I need to adjust? I can see when other people in the office are on the phone, it seems to only be one extension.We are only on Deskphone, not any of the mobile apps or desktop apps.

Apparently support want's me to request this as a "Feature," which is absolutely hilarious in and of itself, but despite being a global admin and the one who added the app integration, I am unable to delete posts made by the app integration. I've been instructed by support to create a feature request because apparently you can't delete any posts made by app integrations so I've been told which is wild.

When I schedule a video meeting on the new Desktop App, it defaults to UTC-05:00 America/Bogata.Is there a way for it to template to UTC-5:00 US/Eastern? It is ridiculous that I have to change the time zone every time I set up a meeting.

My end users are unable to uninstall the soon to be deprecated RC phone app. This is on Windows 10. All users are admins and have privileges to uninstall.

A customer dials a direct number, and I have 3 groups of call queues (Sales, Customer Service, Fallbacks) that I had hoped to overflow to the next one after x amount of rings. However, Overflow Groups don't allow our preferred simultaneous calling on the primary call queue. Does anyone know of any other way to emulate a waterfall-like call queue system that does simultaneous calls for each member in each round/group?

How do I fix this?We use a ring group to forward simultaneously forward to our users. When they pickup a call from the ring group, in the HUD it does not show the user who picked up the call as 'busy' or 'active call'. Instead it shows the original user, through which the ring group was activated as 'active call'...It doesnt matter if the call goes to a physical desk phone, mobile app or windows app.How do i fix this?

I just upgraded my computer last week, and it hasn't worked correctly since. I've deleted and reinstalled twice. I used the web-based app, as that was suggested in the forum, but I get the same results. It is slow to the point of being unusable. Outbound calls NEVER go out, and Inbound calls ring to my PC, but I can't answer. It seems like general system slowness, but this is the ONLY app experiencing the problem. My IT team is stumped.

Hi, I'm new to Ring Central and have a simple question hope someone can help.Basically, I'd like to find out how can I park a call and then transfer to the recipient using Polycom desk phone. For example, if I pick up a incoming call for my colleague and I need to park the call to a location and then inform my colleague (via intercom I guess) the park location for him/she to pick up the call. The RingCentral app on my android device is no longer ringing. Looking at the google play feedback, 2 other members also write in the same complaint. I checked my settings and they have not been changed. Showing its set to Ring Loud with Vibrate disabled.Is anyone else getting this problem as its started a few days ago and I factory resetted my device to instantly get the same problem with Ring Central first thing.Thank you.

I have added a new phone to my Ring Group, and for some reason it is not ringing when a call rolls over, even though all the other phones in that group ring. Anyone have any ideas?
