So i'm using postman to try to get an authorization code to then run a ringout api. When i specify the redirect URI as http://localhost the responce i get isRedirect URIs do not matchDoes someone know what should be or how can i see the redirect URI?I have also tried specifying the port (8080) but din't worked either.Thanks everybody!

,If I am at my desk with a physical phone, I don't want my app to always have to ring. ANd I don't want to have to change the settings on the app all the time. It would be great to allow users to change the primary device to another phone, like the physical Desk phone. So it always rings there first and then rings to the app if no answer. Shocked this isn't an option already!

We have a user who receives inbound calls through RingCentral. Occasionally, she will need to place the inbound call on hold to call out to her team for assistance regarding various issues. Her calls to her team are through Microsoft Teams. When she makes the call via Teams, the call in RingCentral unmutes her audio and the caller is able to hear the entire conversation being had through Teams, but their audio is muted for the user from RingCentral (One-sided call, where only the inbound caller can hear) until they are removed from hold. This issue is happening on multiple computers, with or without a headset. All settings I can think to look at have turned up nothing that would cause this issue.

When setting up a subscription to have a report from yesterday emailed it is sending 2 days ago instead of yesterday's calls? Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

We need to be able to text from our main number ONLY!!!! Because the system won't default to that, our staff is sending texts from our main number AND our other number, causing major confusion amongst our customers. The customer is getting texts from two different phone numbers and therefore, two different strings of messages. THIS. HAS. TO. STOP!!!!! How do we fix this?!?!?!?!?!

When RC Meetings and RC Phone were separate applications, I would keep RC Phone closed so that my desktop wouldn't ring, just my phone would on incoming calls. Now that they are combined, I can't keep my desktop from ringing, even when I am in the middle of an RC Meeting. It's extremely annoying and embarrassing to try and figure out how to shut off the call, mute myself, send the call to voicemail, etc. Maybe this is something in settings I can't seem to find?

I know in the queue, the caller can send themselves to a message only box (press 5 to leave a message), but can they send themselves to the voice mail for the queue?... so there are not more than one voice box to check?I need an easy way for ALL people in the queue to be able to check and manage the messages that result in the phone queue not being answered... and if a caller doesn't want to wait for an agent to get to the same voice mail

Hello,I am using a SCADA software called ignition that has Jython embedded into it that I can use to do all kinds of scripting like api calls. I'm trying to figure out how to get call logs from ringCentral within ignition using some built in functions from ignition/python ( I tried to simply import the ringCentral python library into the backend of ignition, but one or more of the dependencies of the library is done in C and that doesnt work with Jython). To begin with i've been trying to log in using a post call but am getting an error. Here are some screenshots. I've been trying to get this to work for the better part of a week so any help is appreciated in advance!

Feature request : turning off Always ring for at least 30 seconds before forwarding is completed even if customer is using the RC app mobile

We have a small call center for incoming calls from doctors and nurses that can contain time sensitive requests. Some users are now working from home and share extensions. The setting 'always ring for at least 30 seconds' ends up causing delays in ringing for the people in the office using the actual phones, but we're unable to turn it off permanently because any time someone logs into the app, the setting turns itself back on automatically. Is there an API that can be used to turn off this setting? If we can get this figured out we can at least have this run on a schedule to turn the setting off for all users, or even set up a task that runs the api call when a user logs into an associated computer.

In the curl request, what is the account_name & platform_hostname & how to authenticate each request. For each api request we might need the token, so where do we get that and does the token have a session time out too?

Just notice the "Automatic Call Recording" is no longer activated. We went to Admin Portal > Phone System > Auto-Receptionist > General Settings > Call Recording, but only see the "on-demanding recording" option. Has ringcentral taken off the "automatic call recording" recently?

Hi, i'm under the impression that the old RingCentral Meetings app is being retired soon. Currently I have the old outlook plugin, which allows me to highlight a calendar entry, then hit the schedule meeting button in outlook, and a email opens up with all the relevant info populated, add my recipient and send. Super easy & convenient. What is the new method of scheduling using the new all-in-one application? I'm running both, macos 11.4 & windows 10.thanks in advance for advice provided!

We are an international company with clients around the world. We have direct line and extension setup with Standard Internatinal user role. However, my super admin cannot make international calls. Is this right? It seems to me that Super Admin role should be able to do anything within RC that the account is setup to do.

Why is the UK always left behind when it comes to features implemented years ago for the US and other countries? We've been asking for the ability to send SMS from our UK  Ring Central account for years and nothing happens. Same with local area code dialling. I see Mexico, Australia, China & the US all have this ability, but yet again, NOT the UK.

We are trying to determine if fax to email aligns with our security posture. As seen on RC documentation and inspected in Message Trace we have confirmed outbound faxes are encrypted. This part we are content with. The issue is inbound fax to email from customers/vendors that are using a physical fax machine. Once that fax is sent to RC's address we don't know what happens. Is the document faxes being encrypted before transport to our mail servers? Hopefully someone has the answer or can point to me documentation with the information.Thanks, John

Hello, current customer with about 20 users. We have RC integrated with PCRecruiter and while it works as far as letting us dial from PCR and record our actions- the reporting within PCR is not accurate. The reporting needs to show activities as far as outbound calls, inbound calls, connects, no connects, etc. It's very inconsistent across users and time. Any insight would be appreciated! Thanks!

Having more and more users of new Dell laptops saying they cannot use the virtual background. We have plenty of i5 Dells that can use the VB. There must be a graphics drive issue and not a processor issue. I also have an i9 throwing the same error.Is there a list of GPUs that are not compatible?
