Can I get any reference on pulling user phone number using JavaScript SDK while trying to authenticate with access token calling apu

While we making call(Inbound/Outbound) then caller id shows as 'unknown' call even a contact related to this number.Our requirement is that when a call(Inbound/outbound) take place and if a contact record is available with this number then caller id name shows that related contact name.Please reply if you have any solution related to this.We are using => <script src="/support/api/40.0/lightning/opencti_min.js"></script> this Ring Central web-Phone in salesforce VF page.

We've just gone-live with Ring Central for a small contact centre. Is there a "Newbie" forum I can join to chat to other customers? Als? Also, I haven't attended training for reporting as yet (it's scheduled quite soon) but I'm keen to start playing with the available reports in the meantime. Are there any "Popular" reports that other customers have found useful for Agent and Centre? Thanks! Malcolm

Users can no longer schedule or edit meetings at service.ringcentral.comNow they have to go to app.ringcentral.com to schedule. However, you cannot view or edit meetings from here...When will app.ringcentral.com be updated to include basic functionality like editing a meeting? Or will service.ringcentral.com have its previous functionality restored?

Within the Call Queues, I am using the 'Rotating' option to route calls to members. How do I pull reports to see how often/when a user is marking themselves as unavailable to take calls? Is there a way to track this?

Hello,In our migration from another provider to RingCentral SMS, we increased the flow of SMS traffic though our RingCentral A2P 10DLC number in the last 24 hours.When we did so we started seeing an increase in error 401's in our batch calls. Additionally, we are seeing an increase in delivery error 429 on your RingCentral server (especially when our traffic is at its peak).We had to take the action of decreasing the traffic we are sending to your server (moving back to the previous provider) until we determine how to best resolve this.We are using the Java implementation. I note that we are not keeping the session open and furthermore, we are not batching the sends (1 message per batch). It is implemented this way following your code example AND migrating from another provider's basic flow of control that we use.Please see an example of the error 401 below.Please advise, are we hitting a bug in your service or are we misusing the API ?2020-11-23 13:43:45,855 [ERROR] Thread-541

Sorry if this question was asked already. I am new to RingCentral and RingCentral API. I was asked a question from upper management to have softphone authorized PC to be de-authorized nightly by a batch job. This is a medical field where users move around a lot and when they have login to use softphone on different PC other than the original one, they are not able to. Thank you in Advance.

I have ring central app installed on my Samsung Note 10 Plus and all of my notifications for my phone flow through my Samsung Gear S3 Frontier except when I get a Ring Central phone call through the app. I do not get a Call notification, I do however get the missed call notification. Any way how I can get the call notification on my Watch?,

A few days ago the screensharing function in the Ringcentral Web App stopped working. It gives you the option to share the desktop or application and when either is chosen, it accepts the choice and seems to behave normally but the top-of-the-window-controls don't appear AND noone on the meeting can see anything. This worked perfectly last week.

Hello,Using Polycom VVX 450 phones with 12 buttons. On the admin website you can program presence buttons for users but even though it gives the option to choose which specific button to choose on the end users phone it always adds them to the next available empty button. Doesn't matter if you choose leave empty space or collapse list. On the web portal is shows the correct layout but on the actual phone it doesn't match. Am I missing something on how to get it to save to the button you choose on the web portal?ThanksJoe

My direct phone number and direct fax number are the same. Is there a setting to make incoming faxes go to someone else when I'm on vacation?

The scheduling for custom rules currently only appears to handle weekly and one-shot events. I've got a recurring meeting that I'd like to not have to reschedule manually every month (2nd Wednesday of each month).

For the life of me, I can't figure out how to make calls through my computer using the app. I can dial the number on the RC Phone app, but it just acts as a dialler for my cellphone, with the call itself going through my cell.Basically, I want to be able to move from a Zoom meeting on my laptop, to a phonecall on RingCentral without having to switch my headset over from my computer to my phone. Anyone have any ideas as to what settings need changing?

Hi,We recently changed the way our RC works so we can see incoming calls in the HUD. However now when external calls come to the hunt group it rings my softphone and mobile app. I only want calls to my extension / direct line to call my mobile app, don't want my mobile ringing 300 times a day or to get calls out of hours. It is handy to have transferred or internal calls to my mobile though. I have now had to delete my mobile app, which I used to use quite a lot.

After installing the Macintosh softphone app from our software support channel several users report after re-opening they are being asked to additionally install Helper Applications. The desktop App is being installed at Root permissions in /Applications using JAMF as a deployment tool. When the application attempts auto-updates .. prompts for a System account which many of our users do not have. We would prefer this prompt not appear for our users and wonder if there is some way to suppress it. It is not clear what is being installed and it does not seem to effect anything. We would prefer if the Macinstosh DMG could be publish in a non-autoupdating version for use by IT organizations analogous to the PC MSI version. This would better match our IT practices and would create an installer that parallels what is provided for Windows.

I have been receiving emails from RingCentral, stating that "Your meeting attendees are waiting",, for the same meeting, after the meeting is over. It has been three days and I keep receiving the same emails, over and over again.How do I stop the emails?

We want to update User details in the account from api call from our web application. We checked account api here https://developers.ringcentral.com/api-reference/account but no such api there to update user details of a particular extension of account.Where is the api to update the user details of account?
