I need for everyone to be able to send text from Ring Central using the main number as the caller id.

It's my understanding that Calendly and Zoom can work together but I can't find any information on how RC Meeting and Calendly can work together. Knowing that and that RC Meetings uses Zoom as its backend is there a way or has RC set up away so we can allow Clients to use Calendly to set up RC video meetings on their own instead of being forced to manually do it after we receive a request? Lastly, if there are no direct RC/Calendly options is there a way to do it through Zappier or some other software that someone has figured out? Thanks

Hi therePlease can someone tell me if there a way to use a GET request URL to get ALL records in a call log - instead of just 1000? Currently I am having to create code to iterate through "pages" of 1000 records each. It would be much easier and quicker if I could just use a GET request url to get ALL the records in the call log, instead of being limited to 1000. Is there a way? I am trying to download all call recording related data, put it into our database and then my users of our CRM can search it as necessary.Thank you for any help.Matt

We have registered one of our numbers for High Volume SMS, followed the link to High Volume SMS https://ringcentral-a2p-sms.herokuapp.com/, but it gets me too the TF SMS page https://ringcentral-toll-free-sms.herokuapp.com/loadsmspage and there is no number for me to select in the drop down. I am sure I am missing something?

Subscriptions to /restapi/v1.0/glip/posts no longer fire when new messages arrive. Is there a replacement method for this, or is something broken?

I added a phone and line to our back office. However, it is assigned the extension 102, the same as the front desk phone. How do I assign a different extension to our administrator can transfer the call to one of the back desks?

I have tried unsuccessfully to send fax attachment via the API:- Tried two different destination faxes- Tried two different pdf attachments (including simply resending the fax cover sheet RC generates)- Tried appending the attachement to formData as a Blob and File- Checked the Contect-Type is set to application/pdfIn all cases the fax is indicated as Sent on the message store and indicates that there are 2 pages to be sent (cover + 1 one-page attachment) but the receiving fax machine only gets the cover page.Please help - it takes way to long to develop applications based on RingCentral!

We have integrated the WebRTC phone SDK into our website, and currently are having issues getting incoming audio from the other party. They can hear us communicating through the browser, but we can't hear them. We are using the latest versions of Chrome, and have tested on both Windows and macOS.The incoming call alert tone can be heard so it's not a browser audio tab issue.

We have several IVR Menus with four keypress options configured (1-4). They work fine. However, if the customer press 5 - 9 or 11 - 19 they are routed to various call queues or employee extensions, none of which have been configured. Any keypress higher than 5 should do nothing.Has anyone else experience this? RingCentral's solution was to create a dummy extension for keypress 5 - 9 with every incoming phone number we have as the inbound and re-route back to IVR. This works for single key presses but not for 11 - 19 and is ridiculous anyway. It should be very simple, do what is configured or do nothing.

Is an "admin" user the only user that can authorize access to requested public app permissions? If not, what permissions must the authorizing user hold?

I am having issues turning on virtual background for one of my computers. It's a 2020 Dell XPS 13 with a i7-1065G7 processor . I am not able to turn on virtual background because the processor does not meet the "minimum" requirement of 2 GHz. It has a idle speed of 1.3 GHz and ramps up to a 3.9 GHz. I call technical support and they were useless and just keep saying it does not meet the requirement of 2 GHz.This is the one of the latest i7 on one of their top end notebooks. All of my "older" and less powerful notebooks have no issues with virtual background . It seems RC only checks the raw base speed of a processor but does not take into consideration of the generation of the processor or any power saving modes. The issue is the same in the RC and RC Classic app.This computer was given to one of the owners of the company to work at home due to Covid. Our company sends documents to the IRS on behalf of our clients on a regular basis. One of our employees just received a scolding from an IRS rep stating that use of the RingCentral fax is not secure and that is not a method to use for sending them information. The rep stated that we need to be using a traditional fax machine. Is the IRS rep correct in stating this?

How can we test fax if we don't have a remote fax machine?Do we always need a physical fax machine to test the fax everytime? Or there is some way to test fax as demo?

Hi everyoneI hope you are all well in these uncertain times. I have successfully created a Windows Desktop app which can return the whole entire call log and all call recordings for all inbound and outbound telephone numbers. However please could someone help me by telling me (with a Postman example or similar if possible please) how I could pass a telephone number and dateTo and dateFrom parameter to the API (I assume with a GET command) so I can return ONLY the call log and call recordings for that particular telephone number (any calls with that telephone number involved, whether they are the calling party or the recipient) between the two dates? Do I pass any parameters in the postman BODY in a particular format? I have tried doing it as a querystring like this:phoneNumber=123456789 as an example without success.Thank you for any help.
