One of our users is missing a section in the Phone settings in the RingCentral desktop app.On my computer, in Settings - Phone, there are two options at the bottom of the page in a section called "Incoming calls" that allow me to enable "Bring app to front" and "Do not bring to foreground when minimized".However, on the other user's computer, those two options (as well as the whole "Incoming calls" section) are missing entirely.This is on the same version of the RingCentral desktop app; so, is there any way to make these options show?

Good Morning,As my subject states, I am seeing the words "virtual extension" but I can't locate how to actually set-up a Virtual Extension. This is my scenario:We have a Billing Dept. with 5 Team Members and these 5 Team Members take turns answering the transferred calls. Currently, I have it set-up with PRESENCE and RING / ANSWER the Extensions each is monitoring. But, we transfer to a User's Extension: Example: 108. Extension 108 is displayed on the other 4 Team Members desk phone // desktop App. However, the problem lies when you actually need to speak to the person assigned to Ext. 108 one of the other 4 may answer.If there is such an extension as "virtual" to me that means it is not assigned to a specific User and that Extension Number can be placed on each Team Member's desk phone // desktop App.Is this truly available? If so, can it be used in my scenario explained

Hello,For no reason, I stopped receiving call forwarding to my cell phone, and my Ring Central app no longer notifies me of incoming calls, so I am missing every call that comes in.I tried to submit a support case, but I received an error, saying that I do not have sufficient permissions to create a case. I am the super admin on the account and am logged in.

Please add a ringtone and/or notification for team pick up calls on the GLIP App. This would then allow the users to see when and who is ringing their colleagues number at the time.

Can we make it possible to enable the setting for SSO "Allow users to log in with SSO or RingCentral credential" to be allowed for specific users instead of the whole account. At the moment, you can only enable this setting for all users and can't enable it to individual users or user roles.

My bank indicated my charge from RingCentral was possibly fraudulent. It turns out RingCentral has way over-billed me. Again. It looks like RingCentral moved us into their highest tier plan during AutoRenew. I cannot get access to a live person via their contact prompts at the support number, cannot get a message returned, and have my call dropped after waiting over half an hour on hold. This is during stated hours though it doesn't seem to matter what time I attempt to reach them, the result is the same. Does anyone have a better way to have billing issues corrected? Plan shifting within AutoRenew has happened more than once since we signed up most of 10 years ago. In the past they had "eliminated" our low volume plan and moved us up to something more expensive. Our fees on the same low volume usage are now up about six fold and this amortizes out to twenty five dollars per call, which is obviously unacceptable. Previ

I have a single Cisco SPA 525G phone on my desk. If a call comes in, just one of the lights comes on and I take the call. My issue is that as soon as I hang up, the display says missed call. I did not miss any call. No other lights lit while I was on the call. Each time I answer a call it displays Missed Call as soon as I hang up. I've asked support for help on this issue for three weeks and they keep giving me advise that does even apply to my issue. Hope someone out there can help.

I was abruptly over billed two months ago. I tried working with billing, but was only allowed to leave messages, and to date, two months later, have not received a single response to my message. I worked with an account manager and sales person to make sure my account was set up correctly and establish what we should be charged each month. Yesterday for the third month in a row, I was over-billed again. How do you get to someone that can actually fix this.

I have a new Dell computer running Win 10 and Chrome and the RC popup menu (hover over a phone number in the CRM) not popping up so I can't make phone calls.Installed the RC desktop app, added the RC Chrome extn, and authenticated my number, turned off the popup blocker, added ringcentral.com to my trusted sites in Win 10 internet setting and still no go. My old Dell computer works fine.

We are trialing 3 lines. 1 company number and 2 additional direct dialed extension numbers. How do we set this up so that when any of the 3 numbers rings, all 3 of the phones ring, and any phone can answer the call? How do we set up the company line as well as the extension numbers?

Is there a way to disable the account for terminated employees of the organization using the API (to automate the process)? Another option would be to try to re-set the password using the API as well. Has anyone done either of these using the APIs?

Currently, if I am interested in a particular timeframe (example: 1 week), and I view the data by day or hour within the RC analytics site, it is fine. But when I try to download the data in an excel format - to compile the data in a document of my own and do my own analysis and tracking, the report that gets downloads is just a SUMMARY for the selected metrics. For example. If I choose 1 particular week, the graphs and chart on RC allows me to view the data parsed by day or hour. BUT when I save and download the performance report, it ONLY gives me the metrics as a SUM of the week. So instead of being able to compare the total incoming calls between Monday at 11am vs. Friday at 11am, I can only see the total calls for THE WHOLE WEEK. Monday THROUGH Friday. If we are able to view it on RC, why does it not download the data in that manner? How is this useful?

I have an application that has been moved to production, but I was creating a second application that was looking at the faxes sent from my development number. I had faxes in there last week but when I checked today, they appear to be all gone and when I have swung the app back to sandbox settings, it is not sending the faxes out - they are stuck in the outbox. Can you restore the faxes that were in there, or advise me how to add new ones to the sandbox number - the number is 14243302364

I just started working with RC with an office pro account and simultaneously purchased A Yealink W60P and 3 additional W56H wireless DECT phones. I had done a lot of research on the phone beforehand and learned that the handsets had a shared directory feature, whereby if you add a contact to any phone the contact gets added to all phones. There is also a local directory where contact additions are only saved on that phone. My problem is that after going through the activation and configuration process with Ring Central, there is no access to the shared directory, only the local directory. The RC support person spent a lot of time trying to figure out why the shared directory feature of the phone was not working, and I have spent hours googling, looking thru forums, etc, all to no avail. Does anybody know why I would be having this problem and, more importantly, how I can fix it? Having to add each new contact 4 separate times for each handset would be a dealbreaker and I will have t
