We are in the project deployment stage of moving to RingCentral from Cisco CUCM. On Cisco, we use a 3rd party app to provide notifications based on the location defined for the the phone. So if a person in Dallas dials 911, it will send to a group of people including the GM in Dallas. Every location has its own notification group so that the GM at one site doesn't see the 911 calls for another. As near as I can tell, this is an enterprise setting on RingCentral and is not capable of having different email destinations based on the site.Considering the difficulties of 911 in the mobile, cloud based world, along with how litigious this country is, I would think that combining Nomadic 911, so if a phone is connecting in through an IP for a location, that would place that user in that site and allow for notifications based on where the call is coming from for those alerts would be a tremendous improvement.Add in to the RingCentral app a way for a user to have

I am trying to install an RC softphone app on my home Mac (ver. 20.2.2.39769). During the installation process, I get an error message that I have reached the maximum number of allowable installs. We have 5 paid user extensions and 4 have softphone installations on each desktop computer in addition to individual YealinkT48S desk sets. I would like to install RC softphone app on my home computer as well as on my iPhone. What is the maximum allowable softphone install on an account with 5 paid users?

User wanted to have the presenter of a meeting or webinar to be onscreen in a lower corner during the meeting.

My users will have an app that they can use to click on a client's phone number, and it will dial the physical phone sitting beside them on the desk. I'm using RingOut for this. I've never done this before so I need to know about ending the call. The RingOut API call creates a "call object". Does that call object have to be ended (deleted) by my app that started the call using the RingOut API (meaning, user has to click an "End Call" button, or is it automatically deleted by the staff member or client (or both) hanging up their physical phone? The reason I ask is because of the GET (Ringout Status) API call will fail and be marked by the RingOut system as an error on my part (404).. .and then what happens? I get punished some how? If I have to have an "End Call" button in my app, that users have to click after they physically hang up after each call.. for sure they are going to get confused and click the "End Call" button

Within the RingOut website, I was able to make a sample RingOut work, and it rang my home phone. However, when I POST the RingOut API request using Postman or my own custom app built using Lazarus and FreePascal, I get an "In Progress" response... but my home phone doesn't ring. Is this a problem with my code somewhere, or is it an intentional limitation of the "platform.devtest." environment, and the production RingCentral platform will actually ring my home phone?

I created an "Other Non-UI" APP ( since it was providing Password Flow ) implemented in Angular Project ( using "@ringcentral/sdk" & "ringcentral-web-phone" npm ) , and using it's client_id and client_secret along with the login credentials ( username and password ) , I called the Auth Token API ( https://platform.devtest.ringcentral.com/restapi/oauth/token ). So I got the token as well as the extension info , then the SDK made the SIP Provisions API call ( https://platform.devtest.ringcentral.com/restapi/v1.0/client-info/sip-provision ) in which the flags response is like this -which shows that "outboundCallsEnabled" is false......So I am unable to make the voice call.P

From the admin Portal Looking at the call log I added a contact for one of the calls. Today was her 30th birthday Saw that as a field so I went to populate it.I was disappointed I could not manually edit the year. Yet I had to click the back button 360 times to scroll the calendar back 30 years ago. That no one should have to click that many times to get a date to populate. and if I don't want to pick from the calendar I should not be forced to do so. Probably the only time i will use the field but it should be looked at as clicking 360 times is not user friendly by any means. I am having an issue with one of our RingCentral phones. The phone, which is not a part of a call queue group, is receiving calls whenever we dial that extension number.I have checked the Call Handling & Members of that specific Call Queue Group, and the phone that is having the issue is not listed in the Call Queue Group.

I've set up an application that subscribes to the account telephony webhook, looks up information in our database about the caller, and then attempts to route the call to the person the caller is trying to reach by forwarding the call to that Ring Central user's direct phone number. Hello,We have a number of pages in our app that are loaded into shadow doms. On those pages, the "RingCentral for office365" doesn't trigger on phone numbers. On the rest of our application, it functions as expected. Is there a workaround for that or will we need to develop a new extension to be able to get the same functionality on our shodow roots?Thank you

Are we able to hide some of the task features? It might be too overwhelming to see these many tasks features. Are we add something in the setting to allow us to add or delete some tasks features? Also, are we able to show the whole product lines process? Monday.com is a very good example involving multiple members working on the same project. Just a thought.

We have 25 offices. The extensions we assign coincide with the office the user is in. For instance Chicago office users extensions start with 20XX. When we have a new user I have to go into RC Phone and start typing in extensions until I find one not in use. There has to be an easier way! Anyone have a better way to do this?Thanks

Anyone else experience slow ringout out API response times yesterday (Monday Aug 31) - and sometimes even errors? I also noticed logging into the admin portal it took forever. I don't see anything on system system that seems like it would cause these issues.

In the notifications area, you can set the service up so it notifies you via SMS if you have a message. It asks you to put your phone number in and list the carrier. Tmobile is not listed, though they are a major carrier, how can we get this to work?

I have some android users that are using the newest version of the app, and a current version of android. While on a Ring Central call they are unable to hand up by hitting the tactile feedback button on their bluetooth headset. On the other hand if they are on a normal non-ring central call on their phone, the bluetooth can hang up. I would assume this is because on android the app is not integrated, but given you can control music playback via third party apps, I would think Ring central should be able to utilize that same technology to allow a user to hang up a call..

With the new Desktop App, is there a way for it to auto launch? We updated the app from Classic, but the new Jupiter version does not auto launch. Thx.

Hi,When we select the Call Disposition and Save, it always shows as Disconnected and not the actual Disposition on TaskIt only happens for some users? What can we do to fix it?
