rcmobile:// call not working after upgrading to the new app. How can I get this working again on our Macs?

I am building a real time dashboard to be displayed on a large screen in my call center. I’d like to show metrics by call queue, ex. Number of calls in queue by queue, longest queue time, logged in agents, etc. This would allow my supervisors to identify queues that may need additional support in real time. When looking at custom widgets it seems the only filter option is to filter by account. Is there any way to display grouped data in the real time dashboards?

We have been having issues for about 2-3 weeks already.  We’re not sure if it was even longer.Incoming/outgoing fax not being received.  Also same issue from the sender. We are a clinic in Calgary, AB Canada and it is unacceptable in providing patient car if fax is not working.TERRIBLE SERVICE FROM RINGCENTRAL.  Support wants us to keep telling the other clinics who are having issues to “report to their side, as RINGCENTRAL side is okay”. What’s more troublesome is the logs are saying either it was “sent”, “received” and mostly “unknown”.  With “Unknown”, RINGCENTRAL doesn’t investigate. I already told them that it seems to not be an isolated issue as it involved clinics who use TELUS as a provider.   RINGCENTRAL needs to go to TELUS directly to solve this.   I’ve coordinated with support, have a support ticket and still no response.  Looking at other options for a Fax and phone service that is relia

I'm implementing a RingCentral integration that requires starting calls from a server-side application and later transferring those active calls to a client-side web application. Specifically: I use the server-side softphone JS implementation (ringcentral-softphone-js) to initiate outbound calls When needed, I want to transfer the active call to a WebPhone instance running in a React client application My research indicates RingCentral has a built-in "Switch call to this device" feature, which appears to accomplish this type of transfer using SIP protocol mechanisms rather than the REST API. Technical Research So FarI've analyzed the SIP traffic during a "Switch call to this device" operation and found it sends a specialized SIP INVITE with a Replaces header:INVITE sip:+15551234567@sip.ringcentral.com SIP/2.0Via: SIP/2.0/WSS xxxx.invalid;branch=z9hG4bKxxxxxxx

I cannot sent any SMS for 3 weeks now and I cannot even receive any SMS for 2 days now. This is just getting worse everyday. Our company do exactly what Ringcentral told more than 5 times but our whole company still cannot sent any SMS and I even cannot receive any SMS. We build this business with hardwork for more than 10 years and you guys are destroying it. Please solve this issue immediately.

We already use a different program for internal messaging, with no intention of moving away from it. I understand that users can hide the message tab from their main menu, but I am requesting a feature be implemented to disable Message entirely.  

We have just replaced our phone system with RingCentral and I am looking for some assistance with how to play incoming call ringers through our wired PA system.We are a manufacturing facility and have a phone for “incoming emergency calls” (family members needing to reach an employee on the floor etc...). I have Ring Central EX and I’m trying to block an OUTBOUND  number from being called by my office.   I have a former customer who’s asked us not to call them any longer and I’m hearing that Ring Central can’t do this for the EX platform.   I’m shocked that a major phone system doesn’t have this extremely important feature.   Yes I know that I can block a number from calling me but instead I want to block a number so that nobody on my staff can call them.

Will we be able to connect Ring’s Video Meetings to Google Calendar in the no so far off future?  We are Google Workspace users.  Love what you’re doing with Ring--thank you!!

TCR Registration is taking a long time to be approved. Is there a way to speed it up or get in touch with someone for help? There is no option for help on the website. I wished I was informed of needing to sign up for TCR when signing up with ring central. 

The TCR support team is insisting that I add an SMS opt-in checkbox to my website contact form because we collect phone numbers. However, we only collect these numbers to make calls, not to send texts, and we don’t want to obtain SMS consent through the form. Our privacy policy explicitly states: “Consent for SMS communication is not collected through our website; it is implied only when a customer initiates contact by texting us.”Since we don’t text these numbers collected on the form, and our privacy policy clarifies this, adding an opt-in checkbox would be contradictory.Can anyone clarify why RingCentral is requiring an SMS opt-in checkbox in this case? We only use SMS for internal purposes, 2FA, or when responding to customers who text us first, and it’s limited to just three numbers.

Badly in need to help with TCR Registration. We’ve been at this since October and so far we keep getting denied, with reasons most of the time not in the list of errors so we don’t know what to do. I am looking for an answer more recent than those I see from 1, 2 and 3 years ago, where they give directions that no longer appear to apply.Where do I find the setting that enables me to change the audible ring on my desktop phone from only 1 ring? I have looked all over the Settings (both desktop and mobile app) and don’t see how to do this.Under Settings/Phone/Incoming call rules/Work hours/Ring settings/Ring in order I have my desktop phone set to ring first, and I have it set to 6 rings. But it is only audibly ringing once on the desktop phone, making it hard to hear and catch.Please help!

We originally imported all our users via SCIM about 12 months ago.Is there a way to update the user information showing in RingCentral (ie Job Title)?If not, can we switch the integration off and gain the ability to edit the user information.*note* we have approx 1400 users 

Is there a way to automate emailing an address summary/notes of all calls? Like what you do with missed voicemails. 

I am working on call queue setup automation. Custom answering rule API seems to be the great fit for my needs, but the problem is I can not disable queue introduction speech programmatically. No matter what I send in greetings list of my rule, the Call Queue Greeting checkbox is always checked by default. We previously had a different phone company and recently switched to RingCentral in January, which now seems like a huge mistake. We had no issues with our TCR registry with our previous phone company, but since switching, we have had to resubmit our application twice. We even had our website designer update all of our website’s contact forms to ensure compliance.Texting is a crucial part of our business, and now we are locked into a year-long contract with a phone company that we can’t even use, which is severely inhibiting our operations. My patients are unable to reach me via text like they are normally used to and have began to think that we are ignoring them due to the extended time it has taken for this to get processed. Just a general question, after multiple times of rejection the TCR Registration is now approved however. At the very end  at the SMS registration fee’s it says “Automated SMS (APIs, workflow builder, third party apps) not allowed.”, for reference the campaign is Conversations (Between Employees) & Conversations (External), does that mean we cannot send automated messages even if we have a campaign for EXTERAL detailing that “We will use SMS to schedule consultations, send appointment reminders, confirm project details, provide updates, and follow up on ongoing projects.”? How should we go about this?After multiple rejections and on top of that another fee will be charged to the account if we submit another one.

 Hello RC Community,Reaching out after months of zero success support ticket and escalation.There is something happening in the past few months and I can’t be the only one.In a nutshell: i am the super-admin and designated operator “0” extension previously (10+ yrs), no problem sending/receiving SMS from company main #, across all platformsToday: I am still super admin. still operator assigned, but…on mobile/iPad (iOS 18/iPadOS), i am unable to use the company main # to send SMS i am restricted to using direct extension/additional assigned numbers  inbound SMS to main number -> view access only on mobile apps cannot reply (unless i start a new chat from one of the other numbers) the mobile apps do not respect the “outbound caller ID” rules per user/extension on web/desktop app, the previous functionality hasn’t changed.

I have had an ongoing issue for 3 weeks now, where my Company Main Number can no longer send outbound SMS texts. My direct lines still work, but I need the Main Number to be active. The Main number can still receive texts from clients but we can not send out. I have had several calls with Support and every answer I get is that my case has been escalated and someone from Tier 3 is working on it. The most common answer given to me is that there is a bug in my account where my number gets blocked after a certain amount of texts sent out. I also received a message that my texts are violating phishing traffic content policies from RingCentral but our content has not changed from 2018 when we first started using the service.RingCentral are able to unblock the number, but it's inevitable that it gets blocked again after a day of use. Has anyone experienced the same issue and know how I can fix it? Or is there a phone number and extension to a department that I can s
