I have a question for any users of RingSense. When you bring up the main screen (Interactions) and have the list of calls, can you click on a call and see the transcript for that call? I know you can search for calls and access the transcripts that way, but I have been getting very mixed messages from RingCentral about the ability to see a transcript for a call without doing a search first.Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks.

We currently have an IVR system in place. During nonwork hours a caller is prompted with the following:Press 1 for English, Press 2 for Spanish. It will then bring them to the next IVR menu. The options for the next menu is the same just in different languages. Press 1 to go to live person, Press 2 to go voicemail. I’ve tested the IVR menu using the extension connected and it works perfectly. However, when implemented during nonwork hours, when the caller presses 2 on the second IVR menu instead of sending the call to a voicemail box, it loops the call back to the beginning menu.  Does anyone else have this issue or a workaround for why when it is implemeneted it does not funciton as it does during testing? 

Hello,All Android 15 users at our company that have installed the Dec ‘24 Pixel security patch are being logged out of the RC app when the app loses focus.For example, so long as the app is on screen, all is fine.  However, if the app is swiped away (closed) or another app is on screen for too long and an RC call comes in or the app is brought back up, the user is sent back to the sign in screen and the call is disconnected.Since I need my cell phone and desktop to ring simultaneously, this kills all calls on both devices.  So, the only workaround I’ve found is to forward all calls to my cell phone, which makes RC mostly useless.Support has been unable to fix or provide a better workaround.Is anyone else experiencing this?Thanks!

Hi,We've had an issue with our call wrap up time for our main call queue for several months now. Callers randomly get "stuck" in the queue for a minute or longer when there's available agents waiting for the call to come through their phones. Our call wrap up time is set to 0 seconds and ring simultaneously which works fine most of the time, but there are several calls throughout the day where some unlucky callers get stuck in the queue for no reason. Is anyone else experiencing this or a similar issue?

It would be fantastic if the new RingCentral App for Desktop would incorporate the same Plantronics/Poly headset integration that exists in the Phone app. Right now, when using a Plantronics headset, the modern Desktop app does not know how to handle button presses on the headset for answering/hanging up or muting/unmuting. All call controls have to be done from the app itself instead of allowing for headset control.

Is it possible to allow a caller to press a number (like you would with msg only extensions) when on hold in a queue and instead of going to a voicemail, it would move their call to another queue or extension? Thank you

I’m trying to use this GET: https://developers.ringcentral.com/api-reference/Phone-Numbers/readAccountPhoneNumber  it says in the response body that it should have country:     however I don’t see it in the Results:   I’m wondering how I can get the country of the phone number as I want to create an automation that tells me how many numbers I have from each country. 

Ring Central keeps asking the winning compmany the same questions over and over and then rejects them. this has gone on for over 2 months. i will contact the BBB and tell everyone what kind of business you have, the winning number has sent me proof of tevtyyhing Ring Central is doing to keep customres, they just want people to keep paying them. i dont have toimeto go through this 3-4 times a week, 

I would like to sync my daily hours of operation to Google business hours , automatically via API integration of some kind of sync between hours. I don’t want to update google hours of operation and then Ring Central hours of operation, separately daily. 

Hello,Does the message store API allow for exporting the content of SMS and MMS messages, or only metadata?

With the PrivateMessages object, it’s not clear whether the in_reply_to_id must always be the other party in a conversation or simply the most recent message.For example, in a conversation, it’s not uncommon for a customer to send us 3 messages in a row before we can reply.  So should the in_reply_to_id for each message be set to the most recent message, whichever party sent it, or does it need to be strictly only the other party?

My login will work in a browser window if I use my Google login but not regular email that I registered with, however, in the iOS app neither will work. This just started randomly.

Hello!I am using the php SDK to send an MMS with an image attachment (I tried using jpeg/png images). The documentation at https://developers.ringcentral.com/guide/messaging/sms/sending-images#php says: “Therefore, you must use multipart form-data, and set the content-type header to multipart/mixed.” In the same page of the documentation there is an example in php that uses the MultiPartBuilder class from the SDK. However, in the SDK MultiPartBuilder class the content-type header is set to multipart/form-data, not mixed:The documentation makes it sound as if I can only use multipart/mixed. So which content-type headers can I use to send an MMS?

Hello Everyone,We have a small business and only have one deskphone. Then we have a user with an iPhone (me) and a user with an Android who are both using the mobile app. If I am on a call with my iPhone and a RingCentral app call comes through, I am able to answer the RingCentral call. It automatically puts the iPhone call on hold. However, if the Android user is on a personal cell call and he receives a RingCentral app call, he is not able to answer it. Instead, if he clicks "answer" a message pops up stating:"Answer Call: You are currently on an Android phone call. To answer this RingCentral call, please end your Android phone call."Has anyone else had this issue and figured out how to fix it? It is extremely important that we are able to put the personal call on hold and answer the RingCentral call if this happens.I just spent an hour on the phone with RingCentral Customer Support. Yesterday I exported the below Postman collection and imported it into PowerAutomate as a custom connector, got everything configured in my custom connector and it worked fine. I was able to sign into my account to create a connector to my app, then made multiple successful API calls to/from my tenant.  This morning, I checked one of the PowerAutomate flows I had running for an automation I’d like to move off of Python. It started to error out at some point this morning for the API calls, stating "TokenInvalid" "Token not found" "OAU-213" - which is strange since I did not define a token TTL, so it should have defaulted to 7 days. Signing back into my app has resolved this issue, but I would like for it to refresh on its own so that the automation works flawlessly like my Python one did.  Is the token TTL still defaulted to 7 days?Also is there anything on the roadmap to integrate with PowerAutomate like you all did with Zapier? I am receiving Spam calls from area code 806 and 737 (Texas) Multiple times in a day.  They call, goes to my voicemail, and record nothing (leave no message ) but stay silent for 10-15 minutes at a time.  This is to my Toll-Free number which then of course is eating up my minutes needlessly since they are just calling to perhaps meet a quota or pretend they are “busy” for their work purposes.  I want to block the area codes 737 and 806 as these are not areas that I service anyhow.  I do not want to be charged for “exceeding” my minutes when there isn’t even a real conversation or message that is being left.  If I cannot block an entire area code (blocking one specific number will not work as they randomly call from another random number just a couple minutes later, but seemingly area codes 806 and 7373 seem compromised), then can I make my voicemail drop a call or stop recording after a minute or two of silence (no message being left) so that my toll free minutes are not being wasted u

Hi there,  Now that ringcentral has rolled out AI assistant, is there a way to disable it with an API? I know we have to use a template to override and block the AI, I can’t seem to find anything in the api reference to either disable the API or apply my template that will override and disable the user’s API. 

I am receiving calls placed to a phone number that is not mine.  People are dialing a number with the same area code and exchange, but different last 4 number and are reaching me.  This is confusing to them - because they think they will be getting someone else.  But also confusing to me as to why this is happening. The number the dial is xxx-xxx-5540 and my number is xxx-xxx-1087, so not an easy misdial.  Is there a way to uncross the lines? 

I’m trying to accomplish the following: I want to make an API request that will return to me if a specific phone number has been sent an SMS message over a specific period of time. And if yes, I want it to return to me what that message said.First, is this possible? If not, could I at least see if the number has been texted, and not what the message is?Second, where do I even begin with this? I have been trying to accomplish this automation in Zapier using an “API Request” step. I built an app, and have the Client ID and Secret and everything. It isn’t working. Can someone give me a brief explanation on how I would accomplish this? What are the first steps? How do I obtain the correct “token”? Thank you for any help. By default, there doesn’t appear to be a way to add an IVR extension to the company directory. Is there a way to get it in there? Here’s my situation: I created a small IVR on extension 44105 for staff to transfer calls into. The IVR lets callers choose between two departments. It works great. However, today the staff manager would like staff to be able to search this IVR by name, rather than enter its number.
