With this current outage is there any way/work around to forward all numbers to an outside cell phone number? 

When we place calls we just get a weird sound and then a busy signal.  Same thing happens when we call in.  Is there an outage?

All my staff including myself are not able to make outgoing calls and any inbound calls are failing to connect. Cant even contact support line. However we are still able to communicate via messages and are able to send and receive SMS

Is anyone having trouble using the Ring central app today? 

system appears to be completely down to external calls, no in or out

We've been RC users for 12+ years. We have always used the 'press 1 to connect, press 2 to send to voicemail, etc' feature on both extensions, and more recently on call queue's, so when RC dials our landline # (NOT VOIP connection), and we answer the phone, it prompts us to 'press 1 to connect'.Recently, randomly and only sometimes, RC does not recognize when we press DTMF tones, like '1' to connect. It just doesn't 'hear' the sounds, RC keeps repeating itself. Caller enviably sent to voicemail.In the past, maybe twice in the past 12 years or so of being a customer, we found the issue to be some sort of inter-carrier switch issue. Something in RC's switches or the telephone network switches or whatever, was not relaying the DTMF signals. Only the voice. So when we called RC, I assumed someone at RC would file a trouble ticket with RC's interconnect carriers, or whatever Level3 switches or tel

Our handset rings, but when the phone is answered, their is no sound on either the caller or the receiver end. We have done a factory reset to this particular handset and the problem is ongoing.

We use Ring Central integrated with MS Teams through CloudPBX. All of a sudden, I have some users that can successfully place outbound calls through Teams, while others can’t. We all have the same setup. The Ring Central app allows the users who cannot call out in Teams to call out through the RC app. Has anyone else experienced this?

I am looking to hire a developer that is familiar with the RingSense API and can integrate with the Salesforce Platform.  This is a one-time project.

Within my application, I've successfully created an interface that permits users to send SMS messages. These messages are transmitted through the RingCentral API. My next goal is to extend this functionality by adding a deep link from my application to the RingCentral app. Ideally, upon sending an SMS message from my app, the user should be redirected to the corresponding conversation in the RingCentral app.In my research, I came across this deep link schema: `/chat/r?groupid=<groupid>`, which seems to facilitate the exact redirection I desire. However, I am struggling to understand how to retrieve the required `groupid` variable.To send an SMS, I'm already using the RingCentral API which provides me with a `conversationId`. I

I would like to avoid the aggravation other customers have had porting out my toll free number.  I tried calling Ring Central several times only to be on hold for hours at a time.  My new carrier tells me I need my account number (which I know) and a “transfer code” from Ring Central.  How do I locate the transfer code I need.  Thank you.

Today we organized an “all hands meeting” leveraging the “start a conference call” feature in ring central app. I called Tech Support twice before the conference and they assured me that 1,000 participants won’t be a problem.During the conference call we reached the limit @ 200 participants. The website says 1,000 participants can join. I can't seem to find an API that would provide a transcription of a recorded call. Am I correct that this is not supported?If so it seems my best option would be to use the text transcription feature of the AI beta. I'd be taking the call recording file, re-uploading it to RC, and then retrieving the transcript. This seems a bit convoluted to I wanted to confirm this is a reasonable approach.Thanks in advance!

Hi ,When having a ring central premium account. Does SMS have limits within Australia (Global MVP APAC License) phone number ?

I have a T57, and a T54.I have 4 users.All I want to do is set up mutiple accounts inside of the phone, so when the proper person makes an outbound call, we can track their outbound call traffic.  We do not really use extensions, or anything.  All incoming calls should ring to all phones.   I can’t for the life of me figure this out.-Chris

I would always like to be reachable by phone via the RC mobile app. However, when I'm travelling and don't have a desktop app open and my smartphone is locked, my status is automatically set to ‘offline’. However, the status should still be set to ‘available’ so that I can always be reached. Is it possible to configure RC in this way or can you really only be reachable when an app is actively open and status set to available? 

Question about porting a # away from ringcentral

Is it possible to setup the Ringcentral app as the default dialer and SMS app on iPhones? When my technicians are in the field click a call or text button in our CRM app it launches the native dialer and SMS. Can that be changed to Ringcentral?

Hi,  When we offboard, we usually have an automation to disable the user, but I’m trying to find out how to move an assigned number they have back to our inventory pool to use for someone else in the future.  I can’t seem to find an API that does this, not sure if I’m not looking for the right thing. 

All I could find were answers from several years ago. I can’t imagine that this is still a missing feature. Am I missing something? My phone app works well but on desktop it's completely missing all my icloud contacts.

I want to be able to send a text to my ringcentral account by sending an email to my phone number.I can do this to my Verizon phone. I can send an email to mynumber@vtext.comCan I do this with my RingCentral number?
