I have an API workflow that updates an IVR with text….. I have found it does not like a dash, a comma, and now something else but idk what…. It takes the text but doesn’t update the audio on the prompt. Is there some docs somewhere that says what's acceptable and what's not? We are using routing from main line to a specific user who handles all incoming calls. Here is our configuration:This user answers the call using https://github.com/ringcentral/ringcentral-softphone-tsOur user answers the calls automatically everything works as we expected. But after some time when it’s running on our main line, someting weird starting to happens - our user is still answering incoming call, and start streaming the audio as before, we can see this in the logs, but on the phone we hear only silence for 5-15 seconds after that “I am sorry no one is available to take your call. Thank you for calling.” is playing and the call disconnected.We don’t know for sure

Since 7/3, our RingCX agent have been having trouble with the RingCX for Salesforce integration. It seems the app will intermittently freeze and then drops the call. We have been working with RC support and they recommended updating to the latest version of the app, 1.10 but that isn’t helping. Anyone have any thoughts or ideas? There is zero issues when using the engage.ringcentral.com portal. This is just happening with Salesforce. 

Hi all!  I love the Poly Savi 8200 Headset and I was using it with RC for about a week or two without issue.   All the sudden I can hardly hear my callers and it appears that they can hear me ok. I have the volume on the highest setting, both on the base and the earpiece (and in settings of RC).  Is there a fix for this?  I’m using a wired headset for now but I’d love to go back to my on-ear headset so I don’t dent my hair :(  Thanks!

We utilize the text-to-speech engine for a couple of our IVRs, and generally it works quite well.However, on one IVR I’m having a rough time getting it to say “dental” properly. I’ve tried all sorts of phonetics and just about the time I get close the tts engine spins into something completely different. Also, does it need to go so fast? I use three commas between every sentence just to put a normal amount of space between them. I’d think it would understand a period means to pause a sec, but no. 

Is it possible to select a voicemail from the RC desktop application and have it playback through your desk phone?  I’m trying to search and see if this feature exists but I’m not having any luck.  I know you can play a voicemail from the RC app and listen to it directly on the computer but what if I don’t have speakers or headphones?  I want to select a voicemail from the app and play it back on my desk phone.

For example, when they call, they need to press their order so we can reply their order's status: shipped, delay, etc.I don't know if I could code it, or it is already in the admin page which I can just set it up. Some long time clients are reporting that when they call, their phone number is flagged wrongly as Spam, how can I disable this feature so that their calls are no longer flagged as Spam?

Not sure quite what I did, but suddenly if I dial another person’s extension, it not only doesn’t display their name, but doesn’t show me if they are on another call. Help! 😮

Hello,Hoping for some help.Today our system suddenly stopped accepting button presses from the IVR menu. When you call in, it reads the prompt, but no matter which button is pressed, nothing happens. We haven’t made any changes to the system and it was working fine for ~2 years up until now.Any help would be great!

we recently migrated over to RingCentral service but have not activated the SMS feature.  I am trying to get pricing before I turn it on.  The exact cost, monthly fees, setup fees, cost per message etc 

My company is having some difficulty setting up text messaging through Ring Central. In the Admin portal, it says our TCR was registered. However, we still don’t have the ability to send TEXT messages. We reached out to their support and received some very unprofessionally written responses. These emails basically said we need to add language about how users can opt-in, opt-out, etc. of our text messages. However, we do not plan on running SMS campaigns, nor collecting phone numbers. We simply want to message someone on their phone, like you can do through Google Voice (which is what we used before). We are now being told to seek legal counsel for this issue, when I am not sure why.  Has anyone else run into this issue and if so, how was it solved? Thank you.

I created a contact in my RingCentral app for a business.  I entered their main phone number as their “business” number.  I entered their fax number as their “fax” number.  However, when I tried to send a fax, it send to their business number.  There was no opportunity for me to select which number although, again, I did designate their fax number as a “fax” number.  The fax obviously failed.  Other than deleting the business number altogether or, alternatively, not using the contact to send the fax but instead manually entering the information, is there a way to send them a fax to the correct number?

I would like to make calls that I receive to a ring group be silent but have my camera LED flash. Can this be done in RingCentral? I am using the Android app version 24.2.30.400617.

I have recently purchased a Cisco ATA 191 for use with an analog phone system I need for a specific use case. I can successfully provision the ATA, but after a successful provisioning the device never shows as online, and does not work with any analog phone that I try.  My guess is I have to configure something on the ATA itself regarding TLS connection settings, but I can’t find any documentation anywhere to guide me through this process. The only thread I can find on the RingCentral community points to a help article that now redirects to a 404 page.Can anyone provide any help?

Hello. We are using https://github.com/ringcentral/ringcentral-softphone-ts for answering the phone. But after some idle time at night (like 12 hours or so) if we call this phone number the call is not answered automatically. this.softphone.on('invite', async (inviteMessage: InboundMessage) => {…}Could you please help us how we can make sure that we are answering the calls even after some time that sever is running?Thanks.

We are just putting out phones out on site and some are not getting any IP.  when trying to login to the web interface admin/admin does not work. could it be a firmware upgrade problem ?ThanksAndy

Is there any custom reporting to pull information from user accounts? Like users forwarding their extension, or that have a custom voicemail message set.
