Is there a way to change the site address for a user with an extension since we have multiple site locations? Here is an example below. Is there a way to change the address from 150 S Los Robles Ave Suite 750 to another location? Thanks for your help!

Hello, OAU-141 - Authentication is prohibited due to an inappropriate user stateI’ve started getting these errors in production. It has worked fine for the longest time and I’m not sure what’s causing this. The first time I got it I stopped the process and waited several minutes before starting it again which worked fine. This time that doesn’t seem to be working.Any help appreciated as I cannot find any information about this error.

I wanted to make my 12 line ring central account call forward after hours to an outside phone number.  I achieved that and 11 of my lines are off line and I cannot seem to get them back.  I just need someone whe has bigger eyes and a deeper intellect to help me get both done for my small automotive shop in Fort Worth Texas.

Call Queue report shows count of abandoned calls. How do I see which these calls are? 

Yesterday RingCentral worked flawlessly.  Today, I tried to click on the web based phone number to dial.  just like I have always done.  Nothing.. Now, After review with the Ring Central team they tell me it “should be” right.  I DID notice that although Windows shows RingCentral in the app Chioces, the TEL protocol is absent. Yesterday the Ring Central icon was there,I cant select ring Central as the default app. Anyone else see this issue?

On other services like Microsoft Teams, you can customize team icons to really whatever you want. Is it possible in RingCentral Teams to customize and upload your own team icon image? Seems like low hanging fruit. Creates such bad UI with all the exact same icons currently.

How do I route a call to a call queue when a user is busy?If I turn call waiting ‘off’ it will route the call to voicemail for the particular user, but I wish to have the option to route it to a call queue extension instead so that a ‘human being’ can answer the call instead of ‘voicemail’.Is this currently possible?  If not, it may be a good suggestion for future implementation.Thanks in advance!Peter

I saw some very old questions on this sayign it was a planned feature, but is it possible to do two channel audio recording?

A user reported that she was not receiving email alerts when she received a new email. When I checked her setup, the app was reporting "99+" voice mails. When I called her extension, I left a voice mail and it did not show in the list, and there was no notification that there was a new voice mail.Is there a limit to the number of voice mails for the users? Is there a sync delay after deleting voice mails before it allows more?

My company uses Ring Central for faxing only.  Is there a resource somewhere that explains all the ins and outs of faxing using Ring Central?  Some things I am looking for is account creation and managing.  Changing who can send and receive faxes.  Assigning fax numbers to departments instead of specific extensions or people. The specific problems I am having is when our fax numbers were initially created they were created under a specific ext./user name and that was the person who received all faxes for that fax line.  Over time, these people have moved departments or left the company.  I want to keep all the fax numbers we have already purchased and just assign new people to them.I need to know if I can assign specific fax numbers to a specific department and just go in and change the email to a new recipient Does this recipient have to have an account built, as I would do if I were setting up a new user? How do I get my incoming calls to ring on our overhead paging system (Algo and CyberData)? This is for our retail stores where it’s hard to hear the diminutive ringers on our Poly desk phones.

Calendly can give me their API. is there anything ringcentral can do to use that to integrate the product. I'd love to have the video calling features to be integrated with Calendly app. Currently they are integrated with Zoom and it makes things easy

Hopefully somebody is able to advise on this as I’ve not been able to find the info online. We work with a finance company who want to be able to access our call logs for audit purposes - is there any way to set up access for them to our call recordings without us giving them a full admin privileges?  Thank you for the help.

We need to have all external calls to our CEO - received via VA and direct dial - be answered and handled by his new Executive Assistant. After the EA handles the call, they need to either be able to transfer to the CEO’s phone (for CEO to answer), or to his voicemail.Any internal calls - via the CEO’s extension - should go directly to the CEO without involving the EA.Both the CEO and EA have separate extensions and direct dials.Been working with RC support and kept achieving solutions that would only send the call back to the EA due to forwarding rules. No resolution was achieved. We can’t be the only company in the world that is requesting this (seemingly) common set up for a CEO/EA.

The ring central app has recently been updated and allows for mutliple accounts to be logged in at the same time.I have 2 accounts logged in on the app currently. When I receive incoming calls, it shows me the callers phone number, but does not distinguish between which account this is for. So i have no way of knowing which number has been dialed for this call. How do i resolve this?

When users click on the “add an extension” in the Phone HUD they’re able to look and select co-workerd in the same domain. However, once they selected the contacts they click on the “Add” button and they get the following error “Sorry, something went wrong on our end and we weren't able to add this extension”Each of them have 1 or 2 contacts in their HUD (so it’s not a limit issue).

I am unable to route call to other users if one is already on call. How can i achieve this ??

I am using Zapier for this API integration. When I try to send a test message to my phone with a link to the scheduling page on my website, I get the SendingFailed status. However, when I use various test links such as google.com, amazon.com, or even a small local company in my city like https://bendbeautyspa.com/ the test message always goes through. Is there something I’m missing? I’ve sent text messages with links to my website in the past but now this error code appears. 

I have tried adding the automatic call recording feature, but it is not working. The AI chat is abhorrent. I am assuming this is a feature I need to pay for.  

Have a couple Polycon VVX601 phones that I was able to login and reset the password. But not allowing me to login as as ADMIN. Goto Settings / Advanced, and only see Change User Password, and Reboot Phone; I don't see any admin features. Same with the Web Browser interface. I just de-provisioned the phones with RingCentral, is there some Ring Central password used to get to the Admin console on these phones?
