We have a user that uses a Destop app at the office and when he makes an outgoing call there is no dial tone. This happens intermittently. Sometimes it rings, sometimes it doesnt. We reinstalled the app, tested on new computer, different headsets, ran driver/windows updates. Not sure what else to try. There is no setting i can find regarding this. any ideas?

Is there a way that users can log into and out of a call group/queue themselves without having to contact an admin? We have a revolving list of people who are "on call" and answer an emergency line. We would like for them to be able to log in/out of the call group without admin intervention. Thanks

Before Contact Center Spring Release 2023, OSH had a limitation with Personal Connection Priority Blended outbound skills. On the release notes, this limitation was supposedly going to be removed, but the release notes had it "On Toggle". I was unable to see any other future release notes that stated that this was deployed. Now OSH is renamed Dynamic Delivery. And with Dynamic Delivery business Unit setting, I can then configure teams or agents to be in a Static Mode. My belief is that this will allow Dynamic Delivery and Personal Connection Priority Blended skills to work properly. But I cannot find any documentation that states that definitely. The gotcha, is that converting to my knowledge, if I convert to Dynamic Delivery, and the Priority Blending skills do not work, there is no going back to Static Delivery on the Business Unit. In short, the question is, has anyone worked in an environment where Dynamic Delivery is activated on the Business Unit and Personal Connection

I've had a couple of Ring Groups setup for years that ring five desk phones. One staff member has been working from home so adjusted the settings to ring her desktop/mobile app. The calls are coming through but in looking at the billing all inbound calls to these Ring Groups are now showing up in the Mobile Users History. Why would a valid licensed user extension be considered as forwarding to an external number?

Our company uses a blend of MVP and ringCX. Our inbound calls get routed through MVP into ringCX. Currently all of our agents are not setup to allow Off-Hook Calls. To use api generated calls agents must be set up to allow Off-Hook calls. Will this affect our inbound qeueu's? If so, how?

Hi, I'm pulling data from the /completed/contacts endpoint of the NICE reporting API and I can't find a way to see whether an outbound call (isOutbound = TRUE) was answered or not. If I base a non-answer on when the agentSeconds = 0, I get really high answer rates (98%) I believe because agentSeconds includes time spent leaving a voicemail which I don't want to count as answered. If I base a non-answer on when the primaryDispositionId is not null, I still get very high answer rates (98%). The only values in our data for dispositionNotes are Busy, Invalid Number, and No Answer. Is there a way that outbound voicemails or non-answers are tracked in the /completed/contacts data that I'm missing? Do we need to reconfigure our API to begin tracking that? Thanks

Is there an API to unassign phone numbers/ move phone numbers to inventory? I tried this POST command to remove a phone number from an extension: https://developers.ringcentral.com/api-reference/Phone-Numbers/addNumbersToInventoryV2 but it gave a forbidden warning saying I'm out of licenses. Is this the wrong command and is there a right one?

I am using node-red to monitor a PLC and send a text message for alerts and reply to reset functions. I have the It was working perfectly until November 11, 2023. Their is a dashboard migration schedule starting Dec. and running 6 to 8 weeks. The question agent home screen is on the old dashboard. Does the agents have to load the home screen on the new dashboard? Home screen the CXOne remembers the screen that you logout on the next time you login it will take the agent to the home screen (dashboard).

Hey folks,I'm trying to set up Einstein Conversation Insights with Ring Central. This is listed as supported by both Ring Central & Salesforce.After configuring, setup fails. The only error I can see in my RingCentral app is: OAU-352. This appears when trying to GET restapi/oauth/userinfo.This error is not listed anywhere that I can see in available docs, or within this comunity.Does anyone have any insight?

It is extremely annoying when I am on a call with a client and another caller dials my direct number, it rings into me on top of my current call. If I am on a call and someone else calls me I want the call to go to my voicemail.

I would like all company calls to be forward to either my RC softphone number or my personal cell. Any thoughts on how to do this?

I have read through the previous posts concerning this subject, but have not found a solution that works for my project. My app settings are set to the JWT auth flow, and I have double-checked my credentials. I was able to connect to the API using those credentials with an Ajax call in node.js, but now we are pivoting to using a PHP backend to make the calls. I have set up the JWT auth call following the steps in the developer documentation, with the RingCentral PHP SDK installed; however, whenever I run the code, it serves the OAU-251 "Unauthorized for this grant type" error. What am I missing?Here is my code. When a caller calls in and we transfer a call, it shows either our main number on the caller id or the person transferring the call. It does not show the original caller.

Using a yealink phone. Transferring calls using the Transfer option, but receiving party sees caller ID of the extension transferring the call instead of the caller id of the caller.Would it be possible to include the option to have our customer's caller ID reflect, instead of our extension details? We'd really like to have that option.Thanks
