I've asked ring central about 40 times to do this and they are NOT helping.I'm trying to port my number from ringcentral to dialpad. I have filled in the form from dialpad but there was an issue, but dialpad won't say because they asked ringcentral and ringcentral won't say.Has anyone been successful in porting their number? I really need to know how this is done.Thanks.

I am trying to set a phone to ring at the same time as another phone incase that receptionist is not at her desk the other person could answer without having to run to that desk. If I remember there was a tab for call handling but I do not see that. Is there a new way to set a phone to ring at the same time as another?Thanks

I do training calls and when I'm on these calls I don't want to be interrupted by other calls coming in. How do I auto send calls to voicemail when I'm already on a call? I use the mobile app on a tablet exclusively.

The call queue has an extention why can't I add it to the phone hud?? I want to add call queue extentions to the receptionist phone but I can only add users.

We have a larger RC environment with over 100 call queues. I am looking to be able to pull some type of report or see some info in the analytics portal that shows a reps total available time in call queues. We are trying to be able to monitor how long employees are available for calls during their workday.

I’ve not heard from anyone to date!We have a Spectrum Business Connect phone number that is absolutely never dialed. It is my understanding (I didn’t set it up) that this line is ”pointed to” our company main phone number 972–304-1800 that is managed by RingCentral. With RingCentral we have this 972-304-1800 number forwarding all calls to the owner’s cell phone exclusively. Business phone 972-304-1800 cannot accept text messages nor the number assigned to us by Spectrum. Everything actually comes to and from a cell phone managed by a third party. We practically never text with a customer or vendor - it is an odd occurrence if ever done. Do we need to register? Which number do we register?

We update our ring groups quite frequently. With the latest release when you click on Ungroup it deselects the current users of the group and also includes users that were previously removed from the group in the list of members that can be selected. With the amount of ring groups that we have and the amount of members within each ring group it can be difficult to memorize who should be there and who shouldn't. How do I go about removing previous members from the ring group screen altogether?

I use RC with a physical phone, and I can create a conference call with 2 others, but I need to add more people to the call, and when I try to add the third person, the conf feature is removed from my options.Thank you! Rachel

I have a customer who wanted four staff members phones to ring simultaneous on incoming calls to their main number so I have set them up with a call queue. At times during the day the four staff members maybe on other calls, in meetings or away from their desks; when this happens I currently have it forwarding to the voicemail of one of the members as they don't seem to check the voicemail on the extension of the call queue. My customer has asked if calls go un-answered in the call queue could it be sent to an IVR instead of a mailbox, that way the caller might be able to reach the person they are looking for or at least leave a message in their mailbox instead of a general mailbox? I have tried to set up the overflow option in the specific call queue, have it flow to another call queue that I have called Overflow and then in the Overflow call queue added a custom rule to send it to the extension of the IVR. My company stopped using RingCentral a while ago. Use case: Significant portion of our incoming calls gets abandoned in the call queue(they hang up before it gets connected to an agent). I am looking for a way to see these abandoned callers (their phone numbers) in a near real-time way so that agents can call them back.

We are in a heavily regulated industry and also don't use SMS through Ring Central. Do we still have to register?

Hello,We had a bunch of missed calls for about 2 hours today in a call queue and I am wondering if it is possible to check the status of the people within the queue at the time the calls were missed?

We have a call queue for our main knowledge center. The call queue manager reported an issue wherein all callers are unavailable during business hours and a call will not automatically go to voicemail. The queue is set up to wait for a given time before going to voicemail. There is no option for a caller to be sent right to voicemail with a different message (all agents are busy, if you'd like to leave a voicemail press 1). But we have a recording of this message that we've put into the call queue previously that say this, but not the option is no longer there. The call queue manager has said something has changed in the past few weeks. I have a ticket open with RC and they say that's never been an option. I'm trying not to pass judgement on either side, but I know this person and they are kind of a stickler for how their call center runs. Is it possible there WAS a change and the RC tech doesn't know that? Is there a setting we're missing?

A user in our company has an issue where the RingCentral desktop application shuts down unexpectedly and tries to reinstall itself. I have tried to uninstall the program and then download it again but the issue persists. For now I have her use the browser version but I want to know if there is a fix available or planned.

Since the new app was released and we can no longer log into the call queue lines from the new app we have found that we have NO way to access text messages being sent to the call queue. This is a big problem for my business and needs rectified immediately. Multiple times when in a video meeting, we have had issues where if you attempt to change the background, the application crashes. Is this a known issue and how can we fix it?

When talking to clients we use a recording service, the agent calls the client, then merges them with the recording service.While merging the calls a code has to be put in (claim #) so that the recording can be pulled up at a later date.I have 1 (all other agents have no trouble) agent that has an issue with the code, when she types it in via the dial pad or using the numbers on her keyboard the numbers duplicate.No trouble with placing calls otherwiseEX: she dials 12345, but it registers as 1122334455therefore the code is rejected because it is too many digits.Has anyone seen this issue before, if so, what was the resolution?Maybe RingCentral is not the issue, but if I report the trouble to the Recording Company I can tell them I already researched the RingCentral side
