I am having trouble getting links to show up with a preview in my group chats when sending a message from an email.The exact same message being sent from the same account shows up differently when posted.Ex. if you paste "http://www.orimi.com/pdf-test.pdf" on any chat when using Glip app, the preview of the test.pdf would appear, however if it was delivered "via email", it would only display the link.

Hello there!We have about 10 Polycom IP 6000s in our office, the majority of them seem to be locking up once a week or so. Rebooting them seems to bring them back, but not a good situation when staff are running into meetings. They're all PoE powered by a HP ProCurve 48 port switch.Any help would be appreciated!

Hi Ring Central support,Damon Gaffney (Ring Central phone # 214-263-1769) is having serious issues with his Ring Central app. I spent over an hour trying to trouble shoot with support on Friday. The below screen shots show the issues that Damon is experiencing. At this point, Damon is completely unable to rely on RingCentral for business purposes and it needs to be remedied ASAP.I spoke to support for over an hour, sent a detailed email, and have not received any communication back. There is no audio when answering a call on the mobile app. Often incoming calls are routed directly to voicemail without ringing on the mobile app. But when they do come throgh there is only silence. Outgoing calls function perfectly. Calls to my direct extension work properly. This is issue occurs when callers select the caller queue that connects to my extension (and of which I am the only member). I use both the RC mobile app and the RC desktop app (Glip for both). If I set a status on mobile, it will be reflected for all users, except for myself when I'm using desktop app.Why is this?

I have a Andriod 9s and a employee as a Andriod 10. When we are on a call with a customer, sometime during the call (usually 2 - 4 min into it) the customer on the other end can no longer hear my voice. I have found that if I go to the app while on the call and switch it from device to speaker and then back, they can hear me once again. This is happening on nearly every call for both of us. Is there a setting I need to look at or fix for this?

When I receive a call, the customer name is not populating. I'd just like to add their name for future conversations but I don't know how to do this. Can you assist?

Hello we are switching across to Ring Central in the next few weeks. We have an existing Cisco 800 series router and would like to continue to use this if possible. Does anyone know if it is possible to use this router and if so the settings required for configuration and setup for use with Ring Central (1-9 users). Any input gratefully received.

When using the RingOut feature from desktop (not the app, directly through the Ring Central website), it allows me to make the call, but the caller hears our voicemail recording instead of a live person. Why is this even happening if we're calling out from the program?We currently have all of our incoming calls forwarded to voicemail.

I have been connecting to my workplace glip account without issue for just over a year. But the past few days/weeks, I've been having increasing problems connecting. for the past year or so I've been able to connect from any device without issue, but in the past week or two I haven't been able to connect through Chrome. I don't log in terribly often so I switched to Microsoft Edge which worked for a while but no longer. Not I have to use Internet Explorer or the Android app.The problem is I get an error reading: "Your connection to RingCentral Office services has been lost. To restore access, please sign in again." i have deleted all messages and red light still flashing on my polycom. I unplug and it clears until i get another message then it stays on again...unplugging is only way to clear?

Here is the scenario.... I have 5 Customer Service Reps with desktop phones. All 5 are on the phone with customers. 5 more customers call while the 5 are on calls...None of the 5 Customer Service Reps know that there is another incoming call to answer.Customer lets phone ring for 30 seconds and hangs up and calls a competitor.If the 5 Customer Service Reps saw another incoming call, they should be able to put their current call on hold and answer the other call.How can I resolve this issue other than hiring more Customer Service Reps or adding a 2nd desktop phone to every Customer Service Rep???

How are we supposed to hire new employees when there are no numbers for our area code? San Francisco (415) has no available numbers! We need phones for our new employees. What can we do to get a phone number ASAP, as we have a new employee hitting the ground in seven days?

I have one user that uses "transfer now" from the IOS RC app and it will not ring on the recipient's phone, only go to voicemail. Is this a setting for her user account? Nobody else is having this issue currently. This happens to every end user she tries to transfer to so I believe it is a setting in her account not the recipients.

We are having an issue with accepting calls that are forwarded to a mobile number. Basically our workflow goes like this: Someone calls our number and they choose 1 for English. That calls 2 numbers on a rotating basis. For some of our receptionists they are unable to connect the call by pressing 1 when prompted. This only happens to a small subset of our people that the calls are forwarded to. After much troubleshooting we have narrowed down a potential cause. If we show the Incoming Caller ID, i.e. the number of the person calling, the receptionist will without fail be able to press 1 when their phone rings to accept the call. However, If we changed that to Called Number things start to go down hill. For some specific receptionist they will be unable to accept the call no matter how many times they press 1. In fact, sometimes the call just automatically disconnects. This odd behaviour also exhibits itself if you append a series of digits either before or after a phone number. We w

During the transition (for lack of a better term) customer service has indicated I should keep both apps (this was pursuant to an ongoing issue with the unified app receiving, but not sending , sms texts). Is that still true, and if so is there a point where Ring Central Phone officially gets retired and users should only use Ring Central. Its confusing at present, and it would be nice to just have one app to use.

Is there a way to bypass the company greet so a caller can go directly into the queue? We have a rather long greeting due to some recent changes and the we get the same callers. One caller mentioned how they would like to bypass the greeting to go into the queue.

U.S. based Ringcentral Cisco desk phone connecting to a Mac.So I just received my Cisco SPA508G phone. I have a Mac. Due to wireless issues I am running a hardline from our internet providers modem > our router > my computer. How should I connect the phone to the internet AND the computer? Should the line running from the router go directly into the back of the phone, with the computer "jumped" off the phone? Or should I run the hard line to the computer then "jump" the phone off the computer? In either case which port does the computer and hard line plug into the phone? . I see an "SW" port and a "PC" port.

During this period with only the desktop RingCentral Phone app, will presence and status set in RingCentral (mobile or desktop) sync with the RingCentral Phone desktop app? I'm forced to use the RingCentral mobile app while the office is using RingCentral Phone on our desktops (much better interface with the HUD than the desktop RingCentral app has for our needs, frustrated by its retirement), and it seems the two different apps don't communicate.

This is NOT a "question" and it CERTAINLY is not "praise"! RingCentral conference call disaster! I tried to use the conference call feature for a telephonic conference. It was a disaster. Intermittent crosstalk from some other conversation drifted in and out, rendering our conversation unintelligible. After a frustrating and embarassing minute I had to shout repeated suggestions to the other participants to pursue alternative arrangements. Never did succeed in reconnecting all participants. Terrible! How can I ever use this "service" again? How can I "invite" people I need to confer with to a session of pure frustration and embarrassment? How can I know that's not what I'm doing whenever I try to use RingCentral? Conference capability is part of what I am paying you for. You have one very unhappy customer.
