RingCentral refuses to unlock my phone number to port it to my new carrier and gives me no reason why and my account is in good standing and has always been current I am at a dead end with Ringcentral customer service  Do you think it would be worthwhile to contact RingCentrals  carrier AT&T and bypass them to get my phone number ported to my new carrier?This is my business line and important to me. Customer support now says my account has been locked by the Fraud Detection Department but but tell me I cannot contact them by phone it has to be done by email and I was given a email address which bounced back as undeliverable.I have spent a long time trying to get contact information for the Ringcentral Fraud Detection Department and it appears it does not exist and customer service just made the whole story up.No one has contacted me about any problems with my account or why I am blocked from porting my phone number it seems customer service is just a bunch o

We have inbound call recording enabled. When an inbound call is placed on hold on a park location then gets picked up internally, the recording does not resume on the internally transferred call. Does anyone know how to get this to work correctly?

We have a dedicated safety/emergency announcement-only extension, so that employees can call in for directions during unusual events: weather, damage, etc. Is it possible to schedule and send this same recording out to a set list of phone numbers?

Missing options in softphone App.

Will there be updates to the fax options? There are four notable issues currently:1. Currently, there is no way to customize a fax cover sheet to include a company logo.2. There is no way to enter the "To" or "Company Name" field unless they are in my contacts. Even when they are in the contacts, the Company Name field does not populate.3. The format of the fax number looks like this 11234567891. There is no way to change the formatting to (123) 456-7891. Even though it is formatted nicely in the settings the output looks sloppy.4. It doesn't matter what default fax cover is selected in the fax settings. You still have to manually pick the fax you want when you go to start a new fax.

The support I talked to told me there was no limit but they all stop at 3 minutes and I want them to record for an hour.,I phoned support to ask if there was a time limit on the message and he said no but they are cut off at 3 minutes I want it open up to an hour.

How fast does the operator add the ability to send sms to numbers? It's been more than 3 days now, but I still can't send sms.

I’m looking for a way to setup after hours notification when a voice mail is left in our Emergency after hours Mail box.The method can be calling cell numbers or SMS and the first tech to answer the call turns the feature off. 

All morning clients have been getting a "we're sorry all circuits are busy" error on the dial box.It seems to be a RingCentral issue and I can't figure out how to fix this since there is no real person to talk to on RingCentral's customer service.

I inherited Ring Central and still going through online training. I have a Yealing SIP-T33G phone that is displaying PU-rmvd on the display after restarting.Whe you try and make a call it comes back and says to restart the phone and try again.What does PU-rmvd mean and what need to take place to resolve?Thanks...

I see that this is possible but have been unable to figure out how to assign separate extensions to 3 W59R handsets all connected to one base.

We have found an issue where we can no longer log into the Yealink desk phones from the phone interface for advanced settings, it gives an invalid password message, but that same password works on the web interface. We are using the normal admn…pwd password.  This is happening for all Yealink phones from RingCentral after the phone connects and is online.   Has anyone else encountered this issue?  

I used to be able to select one of my other recently used status messages to update my status message and it would change it successfully. However, over the last few weeks, this hasn't worked for me as well as other members of my team. If you select a recently used status, the window closes and it says "Status updated" at the top of the RingCentral window. However, it still has the old status message. The only way to get the status to update is to click the X icon next to it to clear it, then type a new one or select a recent one after clearing it. It adds a step and has made it difficult for my team to keep our statuses accurate because we think it's updating, but it's not. As a remote team, this is a problem. I'm hoping this can be fixed and am wondering if it’s impacting anyone else? I tried submitting a case 2 times and both said they couldn’t be submitted.

There are certain times where myself and my co-workers try to text our email addresses to our clients/providers or clarify email addresses and we get an error message “Message cannot be sent”. This has happened more frequently, and I am not sure what the reasoning is. We are not spamming and sending out mass texts. Please Help! This is crucial to our business and we cannot continue to have this problem.

We just purchased a Yealink BH71 Pro wireless headset for one of our users. They use the RC desktop app for making calls. The headset is connected via a USB receiver that came with the headset. The headset works fine in MS Teams. Whenever the user receives a phone call in RC, the headset works fine. However, when they try to make a call using the RC app, the audio on the headset does not work unless they attempt the call 2-3 times. They can not hear the recipient, and the recipient cannot hear them. I have tried turn on/off the HID headset control to no avail. I reached out to support, but they are telling me the BH71 is not supported (but the Yealink website says it is supported by RC). I find it hard to believe the headset is not compatible as it shows up as a standard communication device. RC support wanted me to download and install the RC Phone app, but I’d like to not have to have a one-off user. Has anyone experienced this issue? I have read other posts of people saying MS Te

Is there a way to see the faxes sent via email through an API request?

I'm trying to disable fax cover sheet for faxes.When I go to users->users with extentions (or templates->user settings)->select the user->Outbound Calls/Faxes->fax settings and go to Cover Page options, there's no "None" option to disable the cover sheet, there only 'Blank' option, but it doesn't disable cover sheet, it’s still present as the first page (it’s just blank). But I need to remove it at all.   

I am not sure when the update was made as it is an infrequent task but I can no longer just reset a voicemail PIN.  It is now requiring I change all three items (password, PIN, and security question) before allowing me to hit save.  Is this intended behavior?   Save is gray Save is blue after all 3 options entered 

We’ve had our texting campaign approved and has been in “Setup in Progress” for over a month. It dawned on me last week that maybe the setup was taking so long because I only added our main company line which is directed to our auto-receptionist. I added my direct number last week and sure enough I see texting available in my RC app.We are a small office and our clients are only aware of our main phone number and fax number, so naturally when they try to text us they text our main line. Is it possible to use texting with a number that is assigned to an auto-receptionist?Also, we still have our old texting service which receives texts to our main line - would this conflict with RC? I didn’t want to cancel it until we got RC up and running.
