I have been trying to get SMS approval for over a month. I spend 2 hours a day on hold with Ring central. This is truly affecting our business and every time I call I am transferred multiple times to diff people until I am finally hung up on with no call back. This is so disappointing. I just do not understand why someone can not just tell me what the issue is. Feels like I am calling a company that has 4 employees in the Philippines who are very friendly but have no authorization to do anything. CAN ANYONE HELP ME?? Just don't know what to do anymore.

My team and I cannot send texts to clients. There is no option for that on the dekstop app. Also, we cannot see text history of texts sent from the mobile app.Clients also reported to us that they are not receving texts from us even though we have sent them numerous times.We have a dedicated phone number for each team member as well as extensions. Roles have been updated to Super Admin so everyone can send SMS. We have tried uninstalling and them installing but still nothing!This has been happening since we moved to RingCentral last week. This is giving us a headache since we use texts heavily to contact clients. We are losing business over this.

Our SMS is not working and tech support blamed the TCR process. How is that possible since March 31st is the deadline and there is not supposed to be service disruption. I submitted our TCR 30 days ago. Need answers.

Admins needs to have the ability to disable the SMS feature.

Due to each department having different hours our "Business Hours" are set to 24 hours. We utilize IVR's to manage call routing for business hours and after hours. I'm in the process of reworking a few of them and was wondering how is it determined what IVR takes precedence over another? Are there certain key aspects of each IVR that dictate this?

We are using the Windows version of the RingCentral app (version 22.4.34.6382 Windows).On the main call log screen, it shows the Caller's Name that we add on the Contact Card, but it'd be nice if we could also see the Company Name field that is on their contact card.

We have several Azure joined devices that are used by multiple staff members (receptionists) and found that RingCentral phone is installed on each individuals user profile " C:Users**User**AppDataLocalProgramsRingCentral.exe" as opposed to a true installation. The problem is that each time a new user sits at one of these pc's we are having to reinstall the RingCentral phone app. This position has quite a bit of turnover and are constantly going through the install process.Is anyone else running into this issue? If so how did you make is less cumbersome?

I have a client who claims to have left multiple voicemails over the last couple of weeks. I see the missed call in my log but no voicemail (not on the phone app, desktop app and I'm not getting an email). This client has a tendency to ramble in messages and I'm wondering if she's hitting the time limit for messages and for some reason it's not saving? Is there any way to fix this?

We are wanting to expand our ring central service to our additional location. But we don't want or need an IVR menu. I just need one main line to go to a call queue and the other main line to go to another call queue but when enabling Multi-Site service is requires you to use a multi-level IVR menu?

Where is the self-register function located so I can register with TCR? I can't seem to find it.

I do not want RingCentral to launch on startup of my computer. I've removed the shortcut from my startup folder and it keeps reinstalling itself every couple of days. I want this to stop. I've look all through the setting of RC and looked at settings, apps, startup and it's not in there. So why does it keep doing this? Make it stop! I want to turn it on when I need it, and not be on when I don't need it.

Has the self-registration within the admin portal been released? Or should customers fill out registration form instead?

I live in Canada and plan a trip to the USA. Does RingCentral use the cellular function of my cell phone and I will therefore be charged for roaming by my provider?

(apparently by IP proofpoint, which apparently RC contracts to prevent outgoing spam). We had to move a mile away from our previous place of business, but it was in a different town, so we had to switch from DSL to fiber. It meant going from our prior IP address to a temporary one with a modem, to a final IP address when the fiber was connected, but as soon as we had the final IP address we lost all functionality for outgoing e-mails, and e-mail faxing, which is huge. It has been over a week, with multiple futile attempts to reach RC via the bot, two in person calls totally about an hour with no resolution, and follow up e-mails telling me that RC was closing the case; we have sent multiple requests to proofpoint to unblock us, spoken with the people with our ISP and I am at my wit's end. Anyone with any ideas (other than ditching RC, which is looking increasingly likely)

I've tried this but it doesn't work because there's no "delete message" option.Open the conversation that contains the message you wish to edit from the Message tab. Long press (tap and hold) on the message to be edited.

When a user is out of the office and they turn on their DND, can their calls be sent to another extension? (Only while their extension is on Do Not Disturb.)

I have windows 11.workaround addin rincentral scheduler for OWA outlook has option "teams Meeting" after activated it ringcentral meeting will be automaticlly carried out in teams. In the past I've used MacOS automator workflows that receive text from the RingCentral/Glip desktop app. I just created a new one today and was surprised that when I went to use it the entire "Services" menu was missing from the RingCentral menu. I didn't even know it was possible for a Mac application to not have that submenu. Would it be possible to have that added back? Or is there a way of showing it that I'm not finding?For context, a recent Google drive desktop update has made sharing paths with teammates much harder, I was trying to set up an automator workflow to streamline that.

I see Zoom has announced support for Apple M1 processors today. With RC's underlying tech being "powered by Zoom", should we expect a native Apple Silicon macOS desktop app soon? I'd love to enroll in beta program for this if there is such a thing. Thanks!

I have a phone in a common area and I need to have it automatically dial the receptionist when the handset is picked up. This is a pretty common feature among phone systems, however I have not been able to figure out how to accomplish this. Can someone point me in the right direction?

HiFirst issue:We have the numbers for 3 businesses coming into our RingCentral account. We need these to route initially to users who will only be using the desktop app - when I add the user under the 'call handling' settings and test it, the call goes straight to voicemail.However, if I set the call handling to route the call to a mobile phone number, rather than a RingCentral extension, it routes the call correctly.To work around this, I did manage to get the call to route correctly to RingCentral extensions, by creating a Call Queue - however when the system routes a call via the Call Queue, it does not manage the incoming call announcement correctly, which brings me to my second issue!Second issue:As we have calls for 3 businesses being routed to the same individuals, they need to know which business the caller is trying to reach so they answer the call correctly. I'm looking for more information regarding the SMS Campaigns app integration for ringcentral. While using the app, the only option when selecting this feature is to go into a web browser and use the tool in the web app gallery after being asked to sign in. I'm not seeing an option to integrate this into the ringcentral app and have it appear in my installed apps section. Having this integrated would be exactly what I'm looking for. Any help from anyone is greatly appreciated!

I am currently a Super Admin, and am taking over the role of a former employee who is also a Super Admin. How can we merge the two accounts, but keep my direct dial with their extension. I am physically moving offices as well.The position I am vacating does NOT need to be a Super Admin.

I am spending 4 weeks in the UK and will be working remotely while I'm there. Am I able to take my Ring Central desktop phone with me and plug it into my wifi, and use it through my computer? Will this allow phone calls to come in from the US and allow me to call the US as if i was still in the States, or will there be extra charges associated? On that same note, if this is something I can do, would I be able to still use the call forwarding feature to send phone calls to my mobile phone while in the UK? I am trying to avoid any extra charges and I can't find detailed information about a situation like this.
