RingEX

I want to provide feedback as we feel like it took a step backwards and the current dialer has better functionality. With the New phone experience, you can no longer select the dialer from any page you are on and it takes up half of the window for no reason.

When we transfer a caller internally or attempt to call another extension, our lines repeat the initial greeting ("Hello! Thank you for calling....etc.)We have some customers that have to talk to multiple departments. Having to hear our greeting over and over gets old real quick. Is there a way to turn this off? We would much rather it go to hold music or something.

I am looking to have the Polycom phone (not the app, no computer closeby), ring to an external bell ringer for use in our toolrooms that are very loud. Are these phones compatible with such a system?

I have a user that has RingCentral app installed on her android. When she makes calls and text, it's using the RingCentral app even thought she doesn't want it to. Has anyone ever seen this before?

We have three extensions - me (owner) and two PT employees. The phone always rings to my phone and my desktop, even when they press an extension for the two employees. Am I doing something wrong in the setup? Is there a way for me to tell what extension the caller dialed instead of picking up every call that comes through so I can choose not to answer? In the same light, is it possible to turn off the ringing for me on my mobile and desktop as a super admin unless my extension is dialed?

Phones/Chat down ... It says our line has been disconnected. Our chat isn't working either. Anyone?

Not sure what's going on, but I'm showing offline on both my PC and my phone. Have rebooted both several times. On my phone, I've tried with wifi turned both off and on. Internet is working fine. When I try to turn on 'available', I get a message "something went wrong on our end, we weren't able to update your presence. try again later." I can call out and receive a direct call in. The issue is no messaging and I can't take queue calls.

When I try to log into my RingCentral App, I get a "504 Gateway Time Out" error. Is the RingCentral App down? I tried clearing my cookies and cache, but it doesn't help. Please advise.I also want to mention that I log into the RingCentral App everyday and have never had issues and this is happening for the first time when logging in on my laptop and on my Android phone.

Tech support suggested that the constant dropping of calls on app that can't be explained otherwise is from out of date or unsupported cell phones. Can someone provide a list of what Models/version of phones ARE supported.

Our company has field staff having numerous call dropping. Tech support says it is "old" phones. Please list what phones are not support? Tech support can not. Anyone offer their expereince?

Call queue concern:Hi Team,I received a call from customer asking when will it be available for RingCentral customers to be able to add an external number within the call handling under a call queue extension, just like the same feature when adding an external number under the user extension/s.Thank you,

Hey,When making a call through RC (in SF), an incoming call can still come through, can we send any incoming calls to vm if the agent is on a current call?

Two members of our team have lost the ability to send texts. We have a paid plan with ringcentral and the settings are as they should be in order to allow them to text. This is very obviously a ring central reoccurring issue. We have also tried calling ring central support line but the operator is AI and the issue has not been resolved. From what I see in other questions from other people they never received any resolution either. Is there a reason you are not resolving this ?

Trying to change my profile picture back to the default initials have tried and no success

We are unable to send SMS in our ring app, shows message not sent

I'd like to block a number from receiving outgoing calls/sms, but still want them to be able to call/message me. Is this a thing?

I know that users can block numbers from the phone app, but message only extensions do not have access to this app. How can I block incoming calls to a message only extension?

Previously, the RingCentral - messages - feature of the app would give a notification pop up and auto scroll to the bottom of the chat when a new message came in. This feature is no longer present and multiple people have complained about it. Double checked all notification settings and nothing in the features seems to have control over this, nor does anything in Ring Central Admin controls. Does anyone have any ideas on how to resolve this issue?

We have phone numbers in different locations and for different marketing campaigns that route to our main number. Is there a way through the call log or some other means to identify which of those phone numbers are being used to call in?

When I listen to my voicemails on the Mac desktop app, on the RingCentral phone, and on the RingCentral app on my iPhone, the message is garbled. I can see the number that called, but the message sounds like a driving car. I am the only person at the company experiencing this problem. I'm not the only one using a Mac.

I've added Co-recipients to the mailboxes I need multiple users to access. However, I don't know how to now listen to any of the voicemails. They do not show up in each Co-recipients user apps. How do we access these voicemails?

I've been having an issue with PDF's created from scans showing up blank when I fax them. The only fix I have found is to export the PDF as a PDF and then it attaches just fine. Why is that?

I have almost 3000 numbers I'd like blocked from a number. How can I make that happen without manually typing each number?

We have a couple of desk phones that are configured as hot desk phones. This phones now are unable to login or logout and unable to make or receive calls.basic troubleshooting had already been done. e.g. power cycle, connect to a different LAN port. still the same.there is a total of 5 phones having this issue.

Hello,I have been with RC for over 5 years now. We are a very small company trying to use it for basic phone/attendant/voicemail services. I have never used it to make outgoing calls. It has only been used to incoming control.Well, now, I would like to set a new employee up at a computer and make outbound phone calls to our customers. We have RC Desktop installed and a headset with Mic. How in the world do we turn off RingOut??? It is ringing to my cell phone and then ringing out to the destination number after pressing 1. Very very frustrating that this is not obvious. We should simple be able to dial and number and make the call. When I click on call in RingCentral Desktop, it opens up RingCentral Phone App. makes me enter the phone number and 'my location'. HELP!!!!!! Also, when we have incoming calls, we should be able to answer the calls on this softphone. Some basic guidance would be appreciated.thxMike
