How do I add a current company number to an extension so it will be in the 'MY CALLER ID' box to call out from?

We want to have the ability to transfer a call to another user (or get a call from a direct dial) and give the person calling the option to keep holding or press a number to get their voice mail if the user is on their phone. The only way I have been able to make this work is using an IVF but they get the option to hold even if a user is on DND (they may only be in the restroom or at lunch or because they are off for the day so we don't want them to be able to hold in that case).Is there a way to have it go to voice mail if the user is on DND or go to the IVF menu with the option to hold or go to voice mail if they so choose? Would I use a call queue for this?

When one of my IT Admin group members gets a call and is not there to answer it I want to answer it but "Answer" does not appear in HUD on the Ring Central app despite documentation suggesting it should. We are waiting to go live in the next few weeks and still learning the functionality. Does anyone know what might be wrong here? Thanks.

Previously, I could send unanswered calls from my desktop to my mobile by simply turning that on or off from the mobile app. Is this feature no longer available? I don't want to send all calls to my mobile, only those that are unanswered while I step out.

Problem: This issue has been continiung for 4 months. It looks like our messages are being turned off by Ring Central. After 2 pm EST our company messages will not be delivered and from the tomorrow it works like everything is fine. I tried to resolve the issue by calling to support and asked from our account manager. Every single time they escalate the case to the higher team and the higher team will escalate it to Tech Support Team. Then they email me asking what's happening. Then, I will explain the same thing over and over again by providing screenshots. After 4-5 days i receive an email about closure of the case. If you need more information about the issue please check all the opened cases on our account which you can find by my email. Note: The internet is working fine.Question: Is this issue happening to all of the users?

Has anyone ran into an issue with 23.4.26 using a ton of system resources? This is the 8th call today from staff. Various of systems with a variety of hardware specs. Seems like multiple instances running even with a fresh install. A few others I have have seem were at 100% CPU usage.

Ever since RingCentral activated MFA about 10 days ago, our deskphones are slow. Each press of a deskphone button has a delay across all users. We use a product named Bridge Operator Console at our Reception Desk. I called the BOC technical support and they say HUNDREDS of RingCentral customers are experiencing slowness and that RC is very aware of the issue. How can I get information on this?

On the CP8851 i know if you hit the 2 dots and then hit call park it will park the call and give you a number like *800 but can you park a call on a number you chose? People in our 800 line tend to use the same park number when they call it out on the over head page. Example you hear Jane call your name on the over head page you know she always uses *24 and if its Bob you know he always uses *25

Hope someone can help.We have followed the setup instructions for the ATA192, we can make outbound calls with no issues. We can receive 1 call, but cannot receive another call for around 10-15 minutes. The line goes straight to voicemail, the line status on the ATA GUI page is showing the line is not active. It just seems it is not sending the disconnect message on incoming calls telling RingCentral the incoming call is complete. We can make an outbound call and receive a call afterwards, which is the strange issue.I've also found these errors in the logs, I believe it has something to do with the BYE message:ATA192-MPP local1.err vsock: RTP_LIB: librtp_wait_for_rtcpbyemsg():548: librtp_wait_for_rtcpbyemsg Failed to recv RTCP BYE from CSS and time out happenedNot using CUCM or MPP sotfware.

I am using a Pixel 6 pro and I can not get the app to work on Bluetooth. My bluetooth works on calls and everything else, but when I use the ring central app bluetooth is not on option. I can only take call on the phone speakers.

I am trying to Rename participants who join my RC Video and I am not able to. I was able to do this when using RC Meeting very easily. Sometimes a person dials in and I want to put up their name instead of their number, or there are two people who sign in as Jack and I want to add a last initial to differentiate, etc.

We're currently in the process of setting up our new RingCentral phone integration with Salesforce. I can't seem to get the RingCentral Salesforce integration app's click-to-dial feature to call numbers with extensions. Our old system required commas in-between the phone number and extension to create a brief pause. EX. (333)333-4444,,55555Does RingCentral's Salesforce app allow for this type of auto dialing of extensions?

I'm trying to set up a Holiday template for Call Queues but there is no Custom rules section like there is in the regular call queues settings. I can make a Call Handling template the way I would like where I can set the days and the announcement I want but I want to do the same for Call Queues without having to go to each call queue and setting the holidays.

How can I create a user that has the ability to check voicemails and view call logs of all users that belong to a site?

I am looking to setup what I would consider a simple partial call automation on incoming calls to our main company number. To put it simply, Monday-Friday from 8:00AM to 5:00PM when our secretary is online (not in DND) all calls will be handled manually by her (i.e. my current setup). I just want to add when she is offline (Lunch, Vacation Day, Sick day, etc) and on DND then the main line calls will go through 1 level of automation. So when she is offline any incoming callers hear "Welcome, press 1 for Customer Support, 2 for Technical, 3 for All other calls, or 4 for the company directory". We already have the call groups setup and working when the secretary vets the call she manually forwards the call to the appropriate group (Customer Support or Technical). All I want to do is know how to setup when she is on DND and the incoming caller hears the automation option and can choose to go to the groups by choosing 1, 2, 3, or Directory. I cannot see where to set this up

Im trying to port out my RingCentral to number to a different carrier. They keep telling the zip code is whats make the port not going through. The zipcode is what I have on my RingCentral number but the carrier keeps rejecting. I can not afford to lose my ringcentral number.

I have a call queue set up for sales calls that rings simultaneously to all our sales people. In the past month, the sales people are able to push the send to voicemail button from their app and the caller goes to their personal voicemail. Thus one sales person would be able to take all the sales leads by sending all the calls to his voicemail instead of letting it ring for another sales person to answer. Is there a way to disable the Send to Voicemail button?

When using the Agency Zoom integration with Ring Central, and trying to initiate a call from Agency Zoom to a Disconnected number, the call just rings and rings. But when we try to call the same number directly from Ring Central it immediately notifies me that the number is disconnected. I’m changing services due to the sms limit and have been trying to port my number out for weeks. I have talked to my account manager which was not helpful at all. I need to be able to port my number asap or I will be canceling all my numbers with RingCentral. I have given T-Mobile all the information that RingCentral told me to give them but there is still service errors. I need help asap! Please

Does anyone know if we can Dial Zero internally yet and it connect the call to a pre-determined ext?

Has anyone heard of crosstalk issues on the RingCentral platform? We have had instances of two of our employees on their RC phones will be on a call and hear either someone on another call or hear the system attempting to dial a call with the failed outbound call message played

My desktop RC rings when i get a call, but the app only displays for barely a second on my mobile phone with not enough time to answer the call.

If I loose my ISP, can ring central automatically reroute calls to a different location?
