I used to be a RingCentral customer but now I'm with Specturm's RingCentral and there is no tech support via live chat here. Am I missing something? Also I'm shocked by the lack of knowledge of Specturm's RingCentral tech support call center compared to RingCentral's. Is anybody else finding it challenging to get help here?

When customers are waiting in our Queue, rather than hanging up because they are frustrated with the wait time, could I set up an extension for them to dial to be sent to voicemail so we can get back to them at a later time?

HelloWe have two users extensions 301 and 302. All calls come through to ext 301. Many of these need to be transferred to ext 302 however they need to be screened first. My thoughts are to put the call on hold, speak to user on intercom at extension 2 and then transfer the call if appropriate. Is this correct or is there a better/preferred way to configure thia setup. Both extensios are using a Yealink T31P.Thanks!

Some of my users are seeing the Privacy dialog below. The most recent instance occurred when the user finished a video call. Her video stayed on screen until she clicked "Don't allow" then it disappeared.Any information on what RC is doing in this case? Thanks

Hello I have a question regarding Call Rules and forwarding. In the image i have this setup as extension 1 and 2 ring together. If no one is able to answer either of those 2 phones the call is forwarded to extension 3. If no one picks up on extension 3 will the call go to the voicemail? And if it does, does it go to the orginal (extension 1s) voicemail or does it stay in extension 3s voicemail?Thanks

I have a bunch of users that have been assigned a full phone number for both the softphone and the desktop phone. How do I best remove one of the numbers?

I'm a systems administrator supporting a Citrix virtual desktop and application environment all running on Windows Server 2019 Standard 1809 servers with Citrix VDA version 2012. All of our end users are running either Windows 10 or Windows 11 with various versions of the Citrix workspace app.I've been reading RingCentral's support instructions for getting the Web app, Desktop app, and Phone app working with Citrix Desktop using Citrix Workspace. These instructions: Using the Citrix VDI integration with the RingCentral app talk about "Optimizing your Calls with Citrix". However, the RingCentral Desktop app when installed on the Windows server that hosts our Citrix Desktops has no "Optimize Media Quality for Citrix" slider. Is it possible to program an HUD button that dials a conference bridge line and enters the code for the conference? I have tried building an extension that forwards to a conference bridge followed by a few commas then the code (similar to how it works on an iphone), but this does not work. Thanks.

Hello there,I am having an issue with the search option in the RingeCentral Salesforce Integration (using version 6.26.1 in case it matters). We have thousands of contacts and there can be multiple people with the same name. So, when I am searching for a contact, RingCentral will show me a bunch of contacts with the same name.The challenge here is to choose the correct contact as I can't see the related account name.Is there a way to display the account name? I have already checked the softphone layout, but there's no option to choose the account name. Even if I had the option, I don't believe that it would be shown as the other selected fields won't be displayed either (such as Email to use the domain name).I'd be very grateful, if someone could recommend me a solution.Thank you.

How do I add a current company number to an extension so it will be in the 'MY CALLER ID' box to call out from?

We want to have the ability to transfer a call to another user (or get a call from a direct dial) and give the person calling the option to keep holding or press a number to get their voice mail if the user is on their phone. The only way I have been able to make this work is using an IVF but they get the option to hold even if a user is on DND (they may only be in the restroom or at lunch or because they are off for the day so we don't want them to be able to hold in that case).Is there a way to have it go to voice mail if the user is on DND or go to the IVF menu with the option to hold or go to voice mail if they so choose? Would I use a call queue for this?

When one of my IT Admin group members gets a call and is not there to answer it I want to answer it but "Answer" does not appear in HUD on the Ring Central app despite documentation suggesting it should. We are waiting to go live in the next few weeks and still learning the functionality. Does anyone know what might be wrong here? Thanks.

Previously, I could send unanswered calls from my desktop to my mobile by simply turning that on or off from the mobile app. Is this feature no longer available? I don't want to send all calls to my mobile, only those that are unanswered while I step out.

Problem: This issue has been continiung for 4 months. It looks like our messages are being turned off by Ring Central. After 2 pm EST our company messages will not be delivered and from the tomorrow it works like everything is fine. I tried to resolve the issue by calling to support and asked from our account manager. Every single time they escalate the case to the higher team and the higher team will escalate it to Tech Support Team. Then they email me asking what's happening. Then, I will explain the same thing over and over again by providing screenshots. After 4-5 days i receive an email about closure of the case. If you need more information about the issue please check all the opened cases on our account which you can find by my email. Note: The internet is working fine.Question: Is this issue happening to all of the users?

Has anyone ran into an issue with 23.4.26 using a ton of system resources? This is the 8th call today from staff. Various of systems with a variety of hardware specs. Seems like multiple instances running even with a fresh install. A few others I have have seem were at 100% CPU usage.

Ever since RingCentral activated MFA about 10 days ago, our deskphones are slow. Each press of a deskphone button has a delay across all users. We use a product named Bridge Operator Console at our Reception Desk. I called the BOC technical support and they say HUNDREDS of RingCentral customers are experiencing slowness and that RC is very aware of the issue. How can I get information on this?

On the CP8851 i know if you hit the 2 dots and then hit call park it will park the call and give you a number like *800 but can you park a call on a number you chose? People in our 800 line tend to use the same park number when they call it out on the over head page. Example you hear Jane call your name on the over head page you know she always uses *24 and if its Bob you know he always uses *25

Hope someone can help.We have followed the setup instructions for the ATA192, we can make outbound calls with no issues. We can receive 1 call, but cannot receive another call for around 10-15 minutes. The line goes straight to voicemail, the line status on the ATA GUI page is showing the line is not active. It just seems it is not sending the disconnect message on incoming calls telling RingCentral the incoming call is complete. We can make an outbound call and receive a call afterwards, which is the strange issue.I've also found these errors in the logs, I believe it has something to do with the BYE message:ATA192-MPP local1.err vsock: RTP_LIB: librtp_wait_for_rtcpbyemsg():548: librtp_wait_for_rtcpbyemsg Failed to recv RTCP BYE from CSS and time out happenedNot using CUCM or MPP sotfware.

I am using a Pixel 6 pro and I can not get the app to work on Bluetooth. My bluetooth works on calls and everything else, but when I use the ring central app bluetooth is not on option. I can only take call on the phone speakers.

I am trying to Rename participants who join my RC Video and I am not able to. I was able to do this when using RC Meeting very easily. Sometimes a person dials in and I want to put up their name instead of their number, or there are two people who sign in as Jack and I want to add a last initial to differentiate, etc.

We're currently in the process of setting up our new RingCentral phone integration with Salesforce. I can't seem to get the RingCentral Salesforce integration app's click-to-dial feature to call numbers with extensions. Our old system required commas in-between the phone number and extension to create a brief pause. EX. (333)333-4444,,55555Does RingCentral's Salesforce app allow for this type of auto dialing of extensions?

I'm trying to set up a Holiday template for Call Queues but there is no Custom rules section like there is in the regular call queues settings. I can make a Call Handling template the way I would like where I can set the days and the announcement I want but I want to do the same for Call Queues without having to go to each call queue and setting the holidays.
