I get an exasperating number of hangup calls. If I block them, I take the risk that I may block a legitimate caller. I do not want legitimate callers to hear either of the two falsehoods that are offered for calls from blocked numbers. I have previously pleaded for a blocking option that could be quickly invoked with a few taps.If that is not going to happen, I would like to be able to quickly assign a silent ringtone to the offending number.The noise is disruptive. The need to check email two minutes later to see if the suspicious call was a hangup is an interruption. I am tired of being yanked off-task.

Hi,I am having difficulties with the "remote control" feature. When I grant access of my screen to another participant, I find that whatever they type in will be duplicated e.g. typing in "a" will output "aa", pressing backspace will delete twice, etc.I have tried meeting with two different people, and was unable to resolve this issue or find anything about it.

When I am playing music on Spotify or Downcast (my podcast app), RingCentral calls go to voicemail instead of ringing through to my phone. How do I fix this? Calls come thru fine when I'm not using those apps.

I recorded a meeting that had 3 sessions. I hit stop/start in between the sessions and ended up with only the last session recorded. Did i need to select pause instead as stop might have recorded over the prior recording(s)? Also, however, i was left with a very large click_to_convert file that cannot be converted by RC. Can i convert this .meetingrec file manually and potentially get my prior 2 recorded sessions back?

I got credentials (Client Id, Client Secret) for my application. My application don't have UI and supposed to run on the server so I use chose JWT Auth flow and create JWT token for my Developer account. So in order to authorize I need to provide all 3 above parameters to initialization and authorization functions. Hello, hoping to get a little clarity on whether there is a Zoom login that we get with RingCentral? Specifically I am hoping to use Calendly or x.ai for scheduling meetings, and they have Zoom integrations I was wanting to leverage. I see that Zapier can do Calendly, although I'd prefer not to use a 3rd party service if not needed. Is there a way that the Zoom direct integration transfers to us using RingCentral?

We have a status hotline Announcement-Only Extension that we use to update the status of our network, to let people call in and listen to a messaging saying if we are up or down. Is there a function in the API that would allow me to upload a new announcement? Or is there another way this can be accomplished without have to call in and manually record a new message.

I currently have a webinar scheduled that 157 people have registered for. However, our plan only allows 100 attendees. Am I able to upgrade the plan to 500 attendees so that everyone can join while NOT having to reschedule and re-invite all 157 webinars to a new webinar?

It is as my title says.My company likes to change color tags on events but do not want the events to be changed in any other way. We do this to denote changes in the event wither changing the type of work needed or marking it as urgent.Recently we have not been able to change the color without providing an end date that is forced to be present day or a future date. This is annoying as it makes for a cluttered calendar of events when we prefer just having it stay on the assigned day.

We have customer where their primary device is their desk phone.Desk phones are also configured as hot desks.Setting up a new user, and it seems their default call handling just rings the RingCentral App.We would want it to ring the desk phone at the same time by default.Also, it appears the user would need to have activated themselves and logged into a phone, before we can change this setting for them?Hopefully I am missing something here.We would just expect, set up new userThey login to any phonePhone rings

I am able to send a SMS from my individual user number, but I cannot figure out how to send a SMS from my main business number. I also sent a text to my business number and it did not show up anywhere.

Im tying to use the PHP-SDK to upload a greeting, I installed the SDK but Im getting error 500 every time I use any script. If I just have a basic PHP page, they load fine. Is there a way of testing the installation of the SDK?

How do I reduce the time a caller waits after selecting the available options to actually reaching us?

When listening to a voicemail, it starts by giving you voicemail envelope (date/time the message was received and the phone number of the caller). It is not giving me the phone number of the caller who left the voicemail like it should and instead saying the name of the name of the voicemail box it was left on. There is also no other way to play the envelope information.

The method described in HELP does not work.Thank you to anyone that can help.

Have any other users had issues with the voicemail to text conversion feature? It hardly ever captures the voicemail correctly. I understand that a bot is doing the conversion and it's not meant to be 100% accurate. Just wondering if there have been any complaints or planned improvements for this feature?
