Has anyone had success using the Plantronics Calisto 240 Handset with the RingCentral Desktop App? Are you able to answer, transfer and make calls using the handset? What do you like/dislike about it?

We're using RingCentral desktop app with Jabra Evovle2 65 headsets with the Link 370 Bluetooth device for call control. We have a couple of users who will have random times where the call control button on the headset will stop working. Daily the users will have to log out of RingCentral app and back in to get the app to recognize the headset and allow call control from the head set (answer and hang up) I have updated the devices to the latest firmware.

We use Plantronics Focus headsets. On two different headsets on two different laptops we have experienced the headset automatically muting during a call. When attempting to turn off the mute, the headset quickly mutes again and will not remain unmuted. We have updated the headset through the plantronics hub. Any other suggestions on trouble shooting when this happens?

I have a telephony/sessions subscription and it seems I missed a message or some messages.For this particular session I never got the disconnect to show the call ended. It does seem that I did not receive all the messages based on the sequence numbers. I only see a 3,5,6.What is the expected reliability on those subscriptions? Is it possible that some messages are missed? What could I do to recover from this missed message scenario? I

I received a call that Maxx Agent is showing Unavailable Refused but also shows connecting Agent Leg. The call will still be ringing but the contact agent is unable to pick up the call. Anyone else having this issue?

We are getting tons of calls and texts from all over the country claiming they received a missed call from one of our lines, what is happening? We never dialed out to anyone, these people are only calling 1 of our direct lines. These are people all over the country and no one has called, what is going on?

I've created an API to allow me to read call logs and I can connect to the sandbox version and make the call great.I have satisfied the requirements to promote/graduate to production and have production version. I amend my code to use the production ClientId & Secret, the the restclient Production parameter to true & I use the production username but receive following 400:Content: {"error" : "invalid_grant","errors" : [ {"errorCode" : "OAU-140","message" : "Invalid resource owner credentials"} ],"error_description" : "Invalid resource owner credentials"}The only difference I can make out is the Password doesn't show "Active" but I'm unable to Reset password.

I am making a SIP integration with RingCentral but I don't get the SIP messages that I would normally need.

Where are the breakout rooms in the new RingCentral App? I have them enabled in the administrator section of my account, but I cannot see the feature in the app during a video conference.

While working from home, when dialing a phone number for an outgoing call on my desktop app, once i click on the green phone, nothing happens. I used to be able to make calls from home; this issue started about 3 weeks ago - any ideas?,When working from home, I type in a outgoing number from desk top app, when I click on the green phone icon, it doesn't begin ringing. After registering the account with the company main number the user can create extensions of different types and functionality. Can anyone help me? I would like to change the inbound caller ID to display our business name instead of the name and phone number of the inbound caller.

So I created an app because I want to pull message data down from the system. Got it all working just fine now. Somehow made some bad API calls to an endpoint early on and now no plans to use that endpoint or which endpoint it was. No way to promote this app to production because of the bad calls to the one endpoint????? So I cloned it to a new app. Changed my IDs for Oauth and started making my calls again. Now, the new app is not getting any stats on my good calls - so again - no way to promote it. What is the deal with the API administration? And no support other than to submit a ticket which takes days for a response. Anyone else find a work around their crappy API admin system?????

Is there a way to change the Default meeting recording location from My Documents to the C drive? Not one at a time in the app, but across the company either at install or afterword's? Our desktop and Documents folder is redirected to a network server, and if an end user is on VPN and records a meeting the recording typically fails. I found recordings-config.json in the appdata folder, but changing the path here does not seem to change it in the app. I also do not see anywhere in the registry with a recording path that I could change.

I have a pre call authentication to my company's API that i currently run through terminal before i place a call. I'd like to create a button on the softphone to execute this POST, is that possible? it's not really a call itself it's an API authentication to our API, don't need to access ring centrals (i don't think) just want to "add a button" on the dialer, is that possible? I'm not a coder at all but I'm trying to fumble my way through it.,I have code for accessing my company's secure call API (pre call authentication) i want to integrate into the softphone. in the 'powered by zoom' meetings application, we had the ability to share our iOS mobile devices if they were on the same wifi. This feature seems to be missing from the RC Video application. We use this a lot to show mobile versions of websites in development or to use our phone as a cordless camera to show actual product. Is there an ETA for that to be added to the RC Video app?

When I delete the extension, it doesn't go back into the 'unassigned' extensions pool, it just removes the extension entirely, and I have to re-purchase a new one. I want to be able to unassign an extension when a user leaves the company, and have that extension ready for new starters in the 'unassigned extensions' pool.
