We're trying to integrate SMS: links in our internal web app to trigger the Windows desktop RC app to be able to send out a SMS. We can use tel: links for placing calls just fine, but when sms links are clicked, the RC app isn't one of the options Windows presents the user.We also tried the rcapp:// urls, but that doesn't open the correct RC app.Are standard SMS links supported, or is there another scheme for opening this specific app, or some other trick to get Windows to recognize and link sms links to the standard desktop app?

Relatively new to RingCentral. So my question is what are the possibilities of Ringcentral integration with Zoho crm?Any reference for that? Also, if RC softPhone is able to connect with zoho crm?

On both our main line and individual extensions, when someone leaves a voicemail it is taking about 40 minutes for the email to be sent.  We are using multiple email hosts (Gmail as well as a corporate email server) and all are experiencing the same delay, so the issue is definitely on the RingCentral side.  Is anyone else experiencing this?  We have requested support on this issue multiple times, but RingCentrlal continues to want to blame our side.  This delay is unacceptable and is costing us business.  Our stated return call times on a voicemail to our main number is 5 minutes and there is no way for us to meet that right now.

I cannot log into glip and the only way is to use incognito mode. this bug has been going on for quite a while but I hadn't had time to report it. The error I get in Chrome's web developer tools is:XMLHttpRequest cannot load https://aws01-g01-gsx45.glip.com/socket.io/?presence=&EIO=3&transport=polling&t=LsOxa8G. The value of the 'Access-Control-Allow-Origin' header in the response must not be the wildcard '*' when the request's credentials mode is 'include'. Origin 'https://app.glip.com' is therefore not allowed access. The credentials mode of requests initiated by the XMLHttpRequest is controlled by the withCredentials attribute.

We currently cannot view WHO deleted glip messages. The Message data export will allow me to see the message and to see that it was in fact deleted, but another column should be added for last activity user id. I think it would also be advisable to separate out the creator id into it's own column of data for faster results.

I purchased a non-ringcentral phone and set it up (awesome help from Mannix in the Philippines). However, how do I set the phone up to automatically call the voicemail service? I do not want to call my office number and hit the asterisk and do the password dance. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I am using Yealink T48 handsets with extensions showing on the handset display as there are only 6 users.

I'm trying to make an application to do call in .net c# windows form.I used your ringout test code. I try to call my personnal cell number, I always get this message:"InProgress"in the daskboard of the sandbox, i don't see any stat about the call.Do you get a sample code that work. Can I call a real cellular number to test my application with the sanbox number?

I have tried the SMS quickstart. I followed the Javascript example. But I get an error: Resource Not Available when trying to login in to ringcentral.I am using my normal login account for the test app. It is in the sandbox. If a user has unconditional call forwarding turned on, if a user calls from a 4 digit ring central extension, the voicemail is left in the Ring Central voicemail box, not the voicemail box on the extension phone listed under unconditional forwarding.This is an issue for users who don't use app-based mobile phones (and don't use the Ring Central mobile app). Ex. If someone calls that user at their 10 digit number, the voicemail is left on their mobile devices voicemail provider. If someone calls the user at their 4 digit number, the voicemail is left on their Ring Central voicemail box. That means it's possible for the user to miss voicemails, as not all are left on their mobile phone's voicemail provider.Can Ring Central please fix the issue or rename "Unconditional forwarding" something else, as that is not actually accurate. We were Connect First customers who came over to Ring Central Engage Voice when they acquired Connect First. We haven't been able to find out who our Account Manager is. We've been told a few different people by Support but have not been able to reach any of them. I've tried calling Support, open a case, calling Sales, leaving a message on Twitter, emailing folks who we were told was our Account Rep and we haven't been able to reach anyone. We just need to talk to our Account Owner about our account and options, etc. -- Figure i'd try this!

We have call queues setup and when a call is waiting in a queue to speak with an employee, if that employee is logged into the queue but happens to be on a call, both parties on that call hear beeps. I assume this is the "Calling Waiting Beeps." Note: This is not the "Call is being recording beeps" because that option is turned off and these beeps only happen when a call is waiting in the queue.Our employees do not use physical phones. They either use the desktop or mobile app.Does anyone know how this can be turned off while still being able to utilize the queue? I had no luck with RC support. Spent over an 90 minutes chatting and setting up new extensions, removing call monitoring, removing and reinstalling the desktop and phone apps, etc. Just a whirlwind of let's try this to see if it works. Certainly there must be a way to have calls wait in a queue without the beeping. Please let there be; otherwise, what good are the que

A user received a call, added a call to consult with a peer. The peer disconnected and the user needed to transfer the caller. Transfer was not an option. The only thing the agent could do was "add" a call again and remain on the line so as not to disconnect the caller.

I have faxed things in the past with this system, and since January 28, 2021, the system is hit or miss on sending outgoing faxes. I have multiple documents that are time sensitive that are not going through. I have updated to the newest version, have tried to fax from the portal, tried to fax from the app, etc. Nothing. Any help would be appreciated? In order to check to see if they came through with the recipient, I have to wait on hold for at least 2 hours each time. Very frustrating and not work productive at all. Thoughts?

Hello, My company is growing exponentially and I would like to see if there is somebody that can help me with this feature request on modifying the extension in a bulk. This will help out a lot since we just need to download a copy of our users and edit it and upload it back to ring central, that way we don't have to do one user at a time. We have had a call que setup for sometime with two regular users and two limited extensions so we can pickup the inbound calls in the back room. As of today the limited extensions calls are not in the call que and cannot be added. Has anyone else ran into this.

I have a call queue set on rotating but the calls come in based on how long someone has been idle. So if i have a guy who makes a lot of outbound calls he wont get many of these calls because he wont be idle for long. however if I have a lazy person who isn't making many outbound calls and is only working the inbound calls then he will be idle for longer every time and in turn get the bulk of the inbound calls.Id like this to just rotate through people and if someone is one a call it will just skip him and go to the next guy. for example if someone is ext. 101 he gets the first call then ext. 102 gets the next and if ext. 103 is on the call it will just go to the person at 104 and etc..is this possible ?

New Ringcentral account. Callers dial into our main organizational number and enter our IVR menus. Some of the menu options they select will transfer them to an external number. The experience is a bit jarring as they instantly leave our organization (whom they called) and are suddenly speaking to another organization. Is there some way to play a "handoff message" to the caller before they external transfer? E.g. "You pressed 5. Our partner xxx handles that. We will now transfer you to them... stand by..."

The automated outgoing message is mispronouncing my company name. Is there a way to fix that?

There should be a way to transfer a voicemail to another extension from the desktop app and the phone app.

My inbound message that customers hear when they call us gives a little detail about the business. My staff wants a shorter message announcing that the calls are being recorded for quality control purposes for outbound calls because when they are calling someone they want to quickly start talking. Currently, many customers hang up on them because the longer inbound message plays.
