Is it possible to disable automatic fax retries when sending faxes ?

On sending sms, I am getting this authorization header error, I am authorizing through basic auth. Please help to resolve this

I am currently using Plantronics BT600 headset with the RingCentral phone app on a windows computer. Each time a call comes in, or even if I act like I am dialing a number and about to make a call, the volume jumps up, or spikes, and is very loud. It is very stressful to have the volume set at a low setting and be listening to music softly, or even nothing at all, and then THE PHONE RINGS and is so loud it makes you jump and want to throw your headphones off. It's acting as if the volume setting for calls is a completely independent, different setting than every other volume setting on the computer, RC phone app, RC, and Plantronics headset HUB. I have attempted to adjust the volume settings for each program and the computer volume mixer, but nothing seems to control the volume of interacting with the RC phone app for calls.Please please please if anyone has any suggestions for how to stop damaging my ears for 8 hours straight everyday, I would greatly appreciate it!!

Does it do any good to call the opt out number on these spam faxes? Or, does it just make matters worse?

We have a call tree setup so if our main receptionist is not at her desk it will then ring the 2nd receptionist. I have enabled presence and set the permissions appropriately so they can answer for each other when needed.The issue we have is if recept 1 just misses the call and it goes to recept 2, receptionist 1 cant answer the call. Recept 2 shows up on her display but the extension will not light up giving her the ability to answer that call.Presence works properly on recept 2 where she can see the original call come in to recept 1 and can answer before it transfers to her extension.I'm sure there is an easy fix or explanation for this but I've been unable to figure this out. Any suggestions or help that could be given is much appreciated.

1 - Outbound faxes :Does the API queue outbound faxes coming from the same FROM fax number ?That is, if I send two faxes using the same FROM fax number to two different external fax numbers, will they interfere with each other ?2 - Inbound faxes :If there are two incoming faxes at the some time to the same fax number, will they interfere with each other. Is it the same as with a real fax machine - one of the incoming faxes will get a busy signal ?

I have a current LAN network with 20+ VVX 411 desktop phones working fine.We are trying to change to a new circuit with more bandwidth, in testing that new connection, the IP phones will not function properly.Can someone tell me, definitively, what network address or resource these phones need to be able to communicate with to function properly? Like a URL or IP Address?We are trying to configure routing on the new circuit to allow for the connectivity to work... and I am uncertain of what that is?After looking in the phone settings on a phone on the working network, my guess is:sip.ringcentral.com (199.255.120.146) , but I really need to be able to answer this question with confidence to avoiding a lot of time on the part of my network team and our internet service vendor.

my ring central implementation doesn’t work in Microsoft Edge it comes up with an error:sip.invitecontext.sessionDescriptionHandler | unable to acquire streamsI used the RingCentral WebPhone Client Library on Github as the basis of my implementation and this works without problem in Chrome.Is this not supported in Microsoft Edge?

We are interested to create an interface between our proprietary application and Ringcentral to automatically download call recordings from ring central for each call case when completed.

When will the RC APP on my MAC be able to sync in contacts.. so we can call them. Seems like a big missing feature. The RC App on my iphone has this. Without this feature on my desktop I have to have BOTH RC Desktop app and RC App (new) HELP!

I am building a react native application for calling .First of all i tried using the webphone RTC via web browser: https://github.com/ringcentral/ringcentral-web-phone. It works perfectly fine in web browsers.But the thing i need is to call via react-native application I am building.I tried call via ring-central using 'ring out call' post api and 'call control- make callout' post api(beta version).But the problem i am facing is when i integrate these apis to react-native applications : To have a two way communication I need to be online in the web phone .Then when i call from react native it goes to the web phone first.And then when i dial 'answer' it redirects to the number i want to call to.Then only i can have a two way communication.So, what do we do if i want to directly call via react-native application to the recipient dir

I have a large group of employees using ringcentral on a mix of hotdesk deskphone, mobile or both.I also have a large group using incontact via a hotdesk deskphone.When a colleague using ringcentral only on a hotdesk polycom wants to put a call through to an agent, it is difficult for her to tell who is on the phone and who is not. This is made especially difficult by the fact that calling an agent via ringcentral will make the phone ring for that agent whether or not they are already on a ringcentral or an incontact call.How can:1. a receptionist know who is available to take a customer call2. a manager know if their team are available or on a ringcentral callWe are a UK company of 250 users using the ringcentral/glip app on mobiles and hotdesk polycom VVX501s.

I'm trying to run the webrtc demo in an mvc project. I've setup the ring central app as the demo states but I'm getting an erro when checking the options.code in the Platform.js. options.code is null causing the grant_type to be 'password' instead of 'authorization_code'. Should I be setting the app up differently? Is there some other documentation I should be looking at?

I tried to copy/snipped a screenshot/image and paste it glip and does not work. I use to be able to do this. My RingCentral/Glip was just updated to 19.11.1 so I suspect that this is broken in this version. I know the image is in clipboard because if I paste it in word/outlook, it will work.Text copy&paste is working fine.

Can we see the agent's availability anywhere other than Live Reports? It would be nice to track that over a range.

I have been using Ring Meetings for a few years now and I believe my hearing has been damaged due to the very loud bell that sounds when someone joins the ring meeting I am hosting.Problem: I cant find any settings to lower the volume of or disable the very loud bell that sounds when someone joins my meetings. I typically have to manually lower my computer headset volume before I start the meeting to prevent the loud bell sound from further damaging my ears. I can lower my computer / headset volume but then I can not hear the meeting attendees. If I raise the volume and someone joins the call late, then I am assaulted by that loud bell.I have used several different headsets, computers, Mac and PC and connected by calling as well as using computer audio. All had the same result, a too loud bell.I am hoping that i have overlooked the setting to fix this, or I am not aware of a good work around.Please assis

Hi,Our (legacy) applications produce PDFs...Some of them I can send using RingCentral API, while I get RenderingFailed for others...The code I use to send this is the sample Java code provided with some minor adjustments to fill in the required fields.It is not a file size problem, the failing one is actually smaller...Any ideas?NicolasPS: Phong, if needed I can most likely provide a sample PDF...

I'm trying to make create an internal data warehouse that collects every one of our user's call data on a nightly basis. My initial attempt took an absurd amount of time as I had to throttle the rate of API calls to avoid rate limits. I contacted dev support and was told I could make multiple API calls without encountering limits by staying authenticated on multiple extensions. I'm not sure how to stay authenticated on multiple extensions in python... using the python ringcentral module requires logging in with a username and pw, is there any way around this?

A user of ours tried to send a text message to a client, the client didn't respond, later when he spoke to the client, the client asked him why he called him so many times, so he realized that for every text message he got a phone call instead of the text message, is anybody else experiencing this problem, or does anybody know the reason?
