We currently have an IVR system in place. During nonwork hours a caller is prompted with the following:Press 1 for English, Press 2 for Spanish. It will then bring them to the next IVR menu. The options for the next menu is the same just in different languages. Press 1 to go to live person, Press 2 to go voicemail. I’ve tested the IVR menu using the extension connected and it works perfectly. However, when implemented during nonwork hours, when the caller presses 2 on the second IVR menu instead of sending the call to a voicemail box, it loops the call back to the beginning menu.  Does anyone else have this issue or a workaround for why when it is implemeneted it does not funciton as it does during testing? 

Hello,All Android 15 users at our company that have installed the Dec ‘24 Pixel security patch are being logged out of the RC app when the app loses focus.For example, so long as the app is on screen, all is fine.  However, if the app is swiped away (closed) or another app is on screen for too long and an RC call comes in or the app is brought back up, the user is sent back to the sign in screen and the call is disconnected.Since I need my cell phone and desktop to ring simultaneously, this kills all calls on both devices.  So, the only workaround I’ve found is to forward all calls to my cell phone, which makes RC mostly useless.Support has been unable to fix or provide a better workaround.Is anyone else experiencing this?Thanks!

Hi,We've had an issue with our call wrap up time for our main call queue for several months now. Callers randomly get "stuck" in the queue for a minute or longer when there's available agents waiting for the call to come through their phones. Our call wrap up time is set to 0 seconds and ring simultaneously which works fine most of the time, but there are several calls throughout the day where some unlucky callers get stuck in the queue for no reason. Is anyone else experiencing this or a similar issue?

It would be fantastic if the new RingCentral App for Desktop would incorporate the same Plantronics/Poly headset integration that exists in the Phone app. Right now, when using a Plantronics headset, the modern Desktop app does not know how to handle button presses on the headset for answering/hanging up or muting/unmuting. All call controls have to be done from the app itself instead of allowing for headset control.

Can we change the company name in the defult voicemail greeting we want to keep the defult voice

Hello Everyone,We have a small business and only have one deskphone. Then we have a user with an iPhone (me) and a user with an Android who are both using the mobile app. If I am on a call with my iPhone and a RingCentral app call comes through, I am able to answer the RingCentral call. It automatically puts the iPhone call on hold. However, if the Android user is on a personal cell call and he receives a RingCentral app call, he is not able to answer it. Instead, if he clicks "answer" a message pops up stating:"Answer Call: You are currently on an Android phone call. To answer this RingCentral call, please end your Android phone call."Has anyone else had this issue and figured out how to fix it? It is extremely important that we are able to put the personal call on hold and answer the RingCentral call if this happens.I just spent an hour on the phone with RingCentral Customer Support

I am receiving calls placed to a phone number that is not mine.  People are dialing a number with the same area code and exchange, but different last 4 number and are reaching me.  This is confusing to them - because they think they will be getting someone else.  But also confusing to me as to why this is happening. The number the dial is xxx-xxx-5540 and my number is xxx-xxx-1087, so not an easy misdial.  Is there a way to uncross the lines? 

By default, there doesn’t appear to be a way to add an IVR extension to the company directory. Is there a way to get it in there? Here’s my situation: I created a small IVR on extension 44105 for staff to transfer calls into. The IVR lets callers choose between two departments. It works great. However, today the staff manager would like staff to be able to search this IVR by name, rather than enter its number. 

New Ringcentral customer! I have a user/extension with a dedicated, real phone number. An outsider can currently directly dial that dedicated 888-XXX-XXXX number and reach the user. However, our workflow never calls for an outsider to directly call that user. Instead, we want customers to call our main company number, work through the IVR menus, and (if appropriate) be transferred to that user by IVR. That number is currently receiving many irritating junk calls.How can we block all external, incoming calls to that number, but still allow IVR transfers to it? I tried to remove the external phone number from the user entirely - but it appears ringcentral requires a user/extension to have a real phone number.Thanks for your help!

Hello RC folks,Does anyone know of a setting that will remove the leading plus sign on an attachment upon receiving a fax-to-email document? Our EMR application will not save documents with a “+” in the filename, so we are forced to edit each attachment that comes in, it’s very time consuming.

We will be using Cellular LE to connect an ATA.  If these are 4 or 8 port ATA’s, does each number/port on the ATA require a license?  1-fax, 2-alarm???Thank you!

We use SSO, and want to use SSO only. Zoom has the option to include parameters in their application msi package, but recently developed an admin option to disabled facebook and google sign in options. Has RingCentral developed any workarounds or solutions to do this as well?

We are heavy users of the RingCentral Audio Conferencing service (267-930-4000, enter Participant or Moderator passcode.) This afternoon, our users started reporting an error: after dialing the bridge number and entering a legitimate Participant code, the caller hears "Access code accepted. This has been an internal error. You will be disconnected. Goodbye."I've opened a ticket with RC support. An engineer responded that they had "reset the conference audio queue, which should help with any issues being experienced", but that has not cleared the issue.Has anyone else been experiencing this problem? If so, any suggestions on how I can get RingCentral to fix it?

Our number company number is XXX-XXX-XXXX on a I-phone. When we make a call to our customer from our company number, how can we make it to show XXX-XXX-XXXX?

I'm switching from Clarity Voice to RingCentral. How Can I transfer all contacts that I have with Clarity into RingCentral?

Hello,I have the MVP product and am having issues with "After Call Wrap-up Time" set at the queue level. It is set to 3 Min, but I am getting reports that the queue users get no time before being placed back as available. To date this has never worked for them. They are placing themselves as DND as a workaround.Is there a dependent setting somewhere I have not found. I have searched the downloadable manual, RC University and the Community. I don't see this issue being raised or addressed elsewhere.

If installing Ring Central app on a terminal server, is there a way to restrict who it runs for?  Only select users would need it and I don’t want it to use up anymore system resources than for just those users.

Can I activate it so when someone reaches an Announcement only extension they can get a repeat of the information by pressing a button? For instance to be able to say something like, to hear this information again press pound, and have the announcement repeated? I know pressing pound on the main greeting for our Auto Attendant will repeat the menu but what about for announcement only extensions. Thanks.

I am in the US and have an employee in the Philippines.   I need him to be able to make calls using his computer laptop to our clients in the US.   We currently have our phone lines with Ring Central.  How can we make this happen?

I am in outgoing calls on my computer app. Recently the app switched on the RingOut feature auto magically. I go in to the setting to direct dial and that feature is no longer there. How can I get it back?

I have been twice denied in the TCR Campaign registration process, but I don't understand why. I am told it is because ... "Explanation: Unable to verify, need working website if opt-in occurs on website. (804)".HOWEVER, opt-in is NOT occurring on our website (which is still under construction), we would ONLY be texting customers who have first texted us, meaning consent is implied, we aren't even gathering customers phone numbers from our website, which I made EXTREMELY clear in my registration application.Why then is our campaign being denied for these reasons? NO ONE I speak to seems to have any clue about this whole process. I'm currently on hold with someone from Ring Central who is trying to figure it out. If they don't figure it out after this phone call I'm cancelling this garbage and just getting a Dual-Sim phone. This is beyond insane.

Hi there, I would like to see if anyone can help exaplning the setup/worksflow. We have 2 phone numbers ported in to our Ring Central account which serve separate companies.Phone Number #1 is advertised on website for Company APhone Number #2 is advetised on website for Company B.They are not inter-related.  We would like to set up different greeting and IVR menu for each of these numbers so the customers can be greeted by Company A and Company B respectively. Currently we’re on RingEx Standard, and we couldn't find this option, as it seems that only one IVR menu can be selected and have to be assigned to all numbers that was in the same Ring Central account.I came across Multi-site features, but I can’t find it under our current plan. If there’s a need to upgrade to use this, how much is it? it not easy to find that pricing.  Thanks.    

I have been repeatedly been denied for 2 reasons:1-Exact URL where opt in consent is obtained is missing in the consent section.2- compliant privacy policy is required on website.I had a ring central walk me thru & told me what to say for #1. I added #2 onto my website and still got denied. VERY frustrated. this is insane.

When I connect my mobile phone to my Ford Sync, I cannot hear the person on the other end through my speakers.  I have an S21U phone, the call comes in through the app, I answer and I cannot hear them.  The person on the other end can hear me, but I hear nothing.  All other apps work fine. Anyone else having an issue like this?
