Last week the event and notifications docs changed and this event is missing and there is a bunch of new ones.Does the Telephony Sessions Event replace this?

Trying to change the Presence numbers on my desk phone (VVX 411). The changes take and show while in the configuration setup online (https://service.ringcentral.com/application/settings/settings/phonesAndNumbers/phone), but don't make it to the actual phone whenever I select a reset of the phone to push those changes. Any thoughts?

Call Queue Settings

We want to enable photo sharing in Glip, but not file sharing.The audit and governance around Glip is not enough for us to enable colleagues to share files through Glip and instead we will be using Teams and Sharepoint.. However, we do have use cases strong enough to allow photo messaging between colleagues or within a group/team.How do we enable photos without enabling files?I can see in the admin portal an option to enable sharing files from mobile/PC but I'd like to separate these out and have colleagues able to share photos and access camera only.Is this possible?We are in the UK - may make a difference as we seem to have more limited functionality over here for some reason :-(

If I park a call using the mobile or desktop app I then cant retrieve it from the web phone (Chrome extension). I can dial the parked extension (e.g. *803) but get a busy tone. Any ideas? If I dial the parked extension from the mobile or desktop app I can retrieve the call from there so I dont think its a presence or permission issue. Any help would be appreciated.

Hey RingCentral,So I have a question that the people at the top of my organization are asking me. We have a decent number of people that travel overseas and are using the RingCentral Phone App as their primary means of communication. A couple of our users have extremely long business calls and are in and out of WIFI when these calls happen. I am wondering on the data plan usage that the RC App uses. If I take an hour call how much of my data plan have I used up?Thanks a ton in advance!

How do I retrieve all my customers and phone numbers from your cloud so I can text them. I uploaded my customers when I started with you and we could instantly see them on all our phones. Any new customers since then can be seen by all phones but are not on my customer list in RingCentral Contacts

Hi folks... So I recently purchased an Apple Watch -after making certain a number of months ago that indeed Ring Central DOES support this device... only to find out today that Apple Watch is no longer being supported. I contacted my account manager, who put me in touch with tech support, who then spoke with the Integration Team and apparently there's nothing to be done, even though users who currently have the App can continue using it, just no new downloads are available.I'm an owner/operator of a small service business in Canada and the MAIN REASON I got the frikken watch is so I could easily monitor inbound messages from my wrist without having to fish out my Iphone each and every time a new message pushes through!Questions: 1. Why isn't this important app being supported, and 2. When will it be re-integrated?~Nathan

We are upgrading the RingCentral phone app across the enterprise using SCCM and are looking for a way to tell if there is a call in progress before uninstalling the old version. We've had some success using the Win32_PerfFormattedData_PerfProc_Process WMI class, but it's a little janky. Is there a better way to tell if there is a softphone call in progress?

Everybody in our company has both emails with the previous company domain (eklektik-web.com) and the new one (outsourcify.net), they are used as aliases in Gmail for Business so both work as email addresses.We use Glip since 5 or 6 years, before it became RingCentral. I had created my account with the old domain name but all our new employees since use the new one. I add them myself in RingCentral Glip right after creating their email address.Until recently I could choose "add guest as co-worker" for co-workers signed in with a different domain name as mine (which is also the company's domain on Glip).I can't anymore. We have a mainly mobile workforce using the Ring Central App (Glip app) on mobile phones in the UK.We have scenarios where an employee will call an external contractor then need to link other internal employees into the call. I have two number with NITCO (Northwestern Indiana Telephone Co/1) but they are not portable with Ring Central. I'd like to request an arrangement be made with NITCO to allow porting of numbers. Is this possible?

One of our locations is in the 100 of extensions. We would like to be able to call these numbers from our app on our phone. As of right now the app things we are trying to dial out.

We run two different companies and our receptionist chooses which line to call out. We NEED to be able to modify the outbound caller id (NAME & NUMBER) for each specific line to reflect which company they are calling from.  Right now the caller id number is correct but the company name is not and according to tech support there is no way to fix this. This cannot happen and we need a fix ASAP!!

I am running ringcentral app on my windows 10. At some point, the app start spinning and spinning but nothing showed up. I uninstall it, download the app again, installed and the same issue. I reboot the machine and no luck. I am not connected to a network, I tried to turn off all norton features and still the same issues. The ring Central meetings is working fine. Any hints?

Several different types of bluetooth headsets will not answer or end a call with RingCentral Win 7.5.2. I have tried on several different Win7 laptops. The headsets are high-end - Jabra, Creative, and Klipsch. On each machine the bluetooth connection was established, Win7 reports all BT headset, handsfree etc services running properly. All BT headsets worked properly in audio sink mode with iTunes . The headsets, with 7.5.2, cannot answer or end a call, although my voice carried thru the headset mic to the caller. I could NOT hear the caller. I tried with audio settings pointing directly to the correct device and then with them pointing to 'Same as system' (which was pointing to same device). HELP! I was told that RingCentral supports bluetooth headsets before I committed. In this day and age you would expect RingCentral to work with MOST BTs, not the just the few that are listed. I have been reviewing call logs since the new Analytics portal launched due to KPI impacts. I have found two issues in how RingCentral dispositions/tags a call that is questionable. I say questionable because I consulted with someone who manages an IVR system for 57M customers that I partnered with several years ago.Scenario 1: Customer calls 800 number, selects a queue and is routed to voicemail.Issue: RingCentral will tag the call as Abandoned when the call is sent to voicemail prompt which is correct tag. RingCentral then tags the same call again with Abandoned after voicemail is left. That makes for two Abandoned KPI dings for one call. This is new as of April 2019 after looking back through Nov - March data.I am not sure how anyone is supposed to answer a call when it is in Voicemail so I believe this is an invalid tag for Abandoned since the call has already been tagged.

When I have a call set up with someone, I text them 10 minutes before I call them to let them know I'm calling from a number they may not recognize. This number gets added into Dashboard as a number, not as a name. I cannot edit the profile to change that to a name, so I'm stuck with having a huge list of numbers and have no idea who is who. I often end up texting a lot with some of the appointments and it's a pain not having their name...just their number...in the Dashboard. How can these numbers be changed to names? Sure hope there is a way...thanks!
