I am a ringcentral customer and would like to know if possible to tie the Related to field on the Call Log to custom object

View previously sent received faxes.

We are a Canadian account that has just signed up and are experiencing issues with the location showing up on the outbound caller ID which is not correct. We have set our custom caller ID to reflect our company name but underneath it shows up the location where our numbers are from which is Victoria and our office is located in Armstrong, 600 km away.We have had numerous customers question when they see Victoria come up on their caller ID and it is important to us that they do not get confused but rather see only the company ID, not location unless we are able to edit it to our local town.THANK YOU for your consideration and if there is anything you can do to change this would be Appreciated!

Missing / Getting Calls while In Lunch Time

We are SharePoint/OneDrive users and when links to .pptx files are pasted into Glip, they paste as the file name in plain text. Other file types work fine (.docx, .xlsx for example) where they paste as a clickable link to the document. Is anyone else running into this?

I have a user with an odd problem: Whenever he receives a missed call notification in his desktop app, he deletes it, and within a minute or two, the same missed call pops up again. This sometimes happens three or four times, for every call he misses. He recently received a new computer, and I thought with the new install of the Desktop App this issue would go away, but it has not. No other users are having this issue. Is this possibly a settings issue? I've checked, and he seems to have the same settings as everyone else. We are on version 19.2.2.35466 of the Desktop App. Thanks in advance for any ideas or suggestions.

I recieved a new personal number for my phone. The old number should still be used for the company. I no longer am recieving them and they are going to my co-workers phone. How do I recieve the calls for the buisness line?

I would like to have a shared address book so that when I mark a caller as SPAM or by the client's name, my employee will see that info too

Regarding RingCentral Case 09433975About a week ago our outbound text messaging from our RingCentral app to AT&T wireless customers stopped working. This has been confirmed by multiple users. All other carriers are receiving and sending text messages fine.Initially (Sept 20th) when I talked with RingCentral support they checked the "logs" and said nothing is wrong and told me that I should have my customers call AT&T check their accounts. (Probably the most ridiculous suggestion ever). Only upon my insistence did the RingCentral support escalate the issue to "Tier 2 Support".This morning (Sept 23) I received this message from Tier 2 Support: "We reviewed the logs for outboundmessages from (your number) it shows no errors over the past 24 hours. Im using MacOs 10.14.6 Mojave, RingCentral App, why can't I see my personal contacts, lets say I want to fax I don't wanna keep typing the phone number, I want to be able to put the name and it should autofill the phone number automatically.

How do you remove a introductory greeting that was setup by mistake?

Testing out some devices for office users. No matter what hardware setup I use, the remote person always hears themselves when I use RC Phone. When I use RC App, the remote person will not hear themselves. I tested this in my office, and from home. Same result.I have already made several changes to the hardware volume settings on the mic levels as troubleshooting steps. It's just weird that the RC App works perfect and RC Phone doesn't.This would seriously be a non-issue for us IF the RC App could pull contacts from Exchange or Outlook, but that's another can of worms.

I'm trying to look up faxes that I sent last month. I see the fax log but it only goes back as far as late August. Is there any way to see further back?

Trying to get actual OB data by Agent. In Campaign Summary By Skill I get a total of OB contacts. When I go into Agent Summary is only shows calls connected, not calls made to a disconnected number, continual ringing, doesn't result in a pickup, ect.Any insight on how to get a true OB number by Agent? I know they are making many more calls than is showing up in Agent Summary.

Why is my phone off

can you email us the manual phone instructions for the T42s model/1. we need to check voicemail messages, need PIN#2. all incoming calls are going directly to Voicemail, we need to take it off this feature.

We had been using an AUDSOM AW615 webcam for video meetings and all of a sudden it stopped working with Ring Central, but still works will all other video chat/meeting software. Wondering why a camera that formerly worked with your software all of a sudden would stop but still works with everyone else?

I was curious if Admins can disable regular users from deleting their own posts. So for example, say Sarah posts messages on Glip. Can I make it so that Sarah can't delete any of her own messages and only Admins can delete any messages? If so, how can that be done? Also, can I make it that Sarah can't even edit any of her own posts? If so, how can that be done? And is it possible to make it so that none of the non admin people can delete or edit any of their posts...not just poor Sarah?

There was a change recently made within the RingCentral App (Glip) that has suppressed the limited Administrator functions we had available to us.For example, I used to be able to click "People" and "Teams" to see all of the Guests and Teams that our company has active. I could also re-send activation emails for guests who let their activation email expire through the People panel to assist our employees who have teams with their clients.Can we get these functions back? Were they suppressed to accommodate for other Administrative functions on the roadmap? We are attempting to configure the AVOXI virtual number service to call forward to our RingCentral instance, AVOXI has a VoIP/SIP/Softphone forward option, and we are unclear of the configuration and cant find anyone at RC that can help. They also have an option to just call forward to a number, but the VoIP/SIP/Softphone option is less expensive. has anyone used a third party service like AVOXI to rout numbers to RC?

I had an interesting experience the other day with a user that was new to our organization came into my office, saying that I should check the security settings of our Glip site because he was able to create his own account and "Get in".This caused me a bit of panic until I discovered the following:Because his e-mail was associated with the same domain as mine, when he created his ID, Glip recognized that we already had a Glip instance configured and it added him to it. To its credit, Glip confirms the user's "legitimacy" by making them click on a link in an e-mail that gets sent to their supplied address before activating the account.While he was able to get in, he was able to get into the "Organization-wide" team, but none of the individual teams that we had configured.He was able to see/IM others in the organization.I suppose it could be argued that this is a great feature that simpli

I have installed the Ring Central app on my computer and i have been trying to log into the app, but whenever I do, it stops me from logging in and gives me the message, "We are experiencing an issue with servers. If the problem persists, contact support for help." I had another person sign in on my device and they got logged in no problem, and it gives me this message whenever I try to sign in on other devices too. I am the only person I know of at my organization that has this problem. This is in the U.S. if that has any impact.

I have an android phone and for some reason I can't use the mobile app for faxing. Whenever I need to fax something, there is no option for me to attach the document. The document tab is empty.
