Hi,I am new to Ring Central and wanted to know how I know if a call is coming through on my mobile as a work call (through RC) or a personal call on my number. Do I need a separate phone for RC calls?

Our 'default' super admin left the company and I updated the 'default' super admin to be me. I updated all the details to be mine and moved my existing softphone over from my old profile to the existing super admin profile. The problem I now have is that the former super admin, who had all calls forwarding to their mobile, is now receiving calls made to my softphone but with my softphone as the caller ID. The calls are simultaneous ring as I'm getting them too. I've checked all the settings and can't find their number listed anywhere for me to remove or update it.

Windows Focus Assist is supposed to be a system-wide control over notifications. MacOS also allows for notifications to be turned off. I have Win10 Focus Assist set to Priority Only, which only is supposed to allow the apps in the priority list to give notifications (I've removed all).Why does RC ignore these settings? Is there a way to mute RC so incoming calls are not ringing during online meetings and popping up on my screen when I'm sharing it? RC should be following the rules for all apps, not ignoring them. I should not have to quit or silence each individual app--most play nice, but it seems RC does not.

I can't figure out how to change the folder where faxes are saved into. Currently it is saving into my downloads folder but I want it to save to my desktop. Can anyone help?

HiCan we add a feature for caller ID to show the business name instead of the number when making outbound calls. This would be great because when making outbound calls it will show the business which will be more professional and personal for the receiver. Amazon has the same feature, when you receive a call from Amazon, their name will show instead of the number.Having this number will be a great ad on.Thank you

The list view shows name, phone and fax. Is there a way to have company name and title as well as phone number? I dont see any way to customize the list

I just spent some time on the phone with support but he was as puzzled as I am. The ported in fax number does show up in Inventory but will not show up when I am trying to select the Company Fax number. We have used that number for 20+ years and some customers still fax orders.

Hi,I was wondering is there was a setting one can set to delete read messages after x number of days? Or be able to set an auto delete option when a vm is emailed via the notification option?Thanks

Someone received a voicemail and they want to send it to someone else. Easy, they find the voicemail, hit the More button, and choose "share". But this person does not have "Share with Email", only "Share as message". We discourage using messages because we have about a half dozen other messaging tools and do not need another one (wish I could turn this off entirely but I digress). Why does this person not have Share with Email? How can I grant them this ability?

We have a user w/ Do Not Disturb on, but calls are not going to voicemail. They are receiving a general message. Anyone else had this issue?

Hello,I have been trying to accept calls, but I do not have the option to accept queue calls. My coworkers seem to have this check mark under their profile, but I only have my availability and call rules. Is there something I can change on my account to get the feature?

We would like to have a secondary disposition tab linked to the level one disposition tab when a call ends. The idea is to allow the level one disposition to be identified to the service area the call pertained to.

Does it matter that Malwarebytes Premium (MBAM) is blocking a feature of RingCentral App during load? I have a few extensions, the main number and my personal line. both ring on my cell phone and the app. RC cannot help me to determine if the call is coming in on the main line or my personal line. I want to know if the caller is calling for me personally. This seems so simple. This is very important as we answer them differently. Anyone understand what I need?

Hello!Here is a situation. I currently have a fax system for our office with Biscom Fax. All of the incoming faxes will be converted to a searchable PDF file. The files will be stored on a network folder, where all of the employees can access too. Everything is pretty instantaneous. Is there a way we can do this for Ringcentral? My goal is to create a centralize fax system for all of my staffs.

The Detailed Call Log for a particular user is averaging a higher percentage of "Not Connected" calls than others on the team. What are the best reports/logs that we can look at to give us some insight? Calls are placed using the mobile app.Any suggestions would be appreciated.Thank you,

Example: Someone will be out of office; and we need for their inbound SMS text messages to forward to a different extension while they're out of office- similar to call forwarding, but for SMS.

When using RC Android app to make phone calls to answer calls, sound is not transmitted via phone's microphone. Only way for me to get the microphone to work is by switching to speaker and then switching back to microphone.I don't have this issue with any other apps on my phone. I don't know if there is any specific settings on RC. If so, I can't seem to find it. I see the microphone icon in the status bar and it shows RC has the access, so I don't think it's a permission issue.Has anyone seen this? It's annoying and potentially have privacy issues.I'm using Pixel 6, Android 13. I also tried reinstalling the app.

Sometimes the office is closed unexpectedly, I'd like for a way to have the receptionist just dial a keycode, or press a soft button that will just divert all calls to an out of office mailbox for our IVR. We used to be able to do this with our old system.It's very frustrating that I have to log in and make the changes manually to our call flow.

We bought into ringcentral through spectrum and they assured me this would work. It doesn't and I want to make sure I purchase what I need to fix this disaster. I've seen the bogen tamb2 used to bridge the gap from the ata to the amp. Anyone familiar with this? I also emailed valcom and they said their VRCPA paging adapter would work with ring central without the ATA. Any help is appreciated.

For inbound calls, we received the CLID just fine but no CNAM. Is this a RC limitation? Customers that called us before we migrated to RingCentral had their CNAM shown on inbound calls, same customers call same number and now only CLID shows.

Simple feature request - would be very easy to implement. Scenario is this:* Queue is set up to ring multiple people simultaneously* Those people are set to AVAILABLE and all of their phones ring - but they may not want to answer it so they REJECT the incoming call (hit the red hang up button). Today - they system keeps ringing that person back over and over again throughout the QUEUE wait time - until it sends the caller to voicemail. If you set wait time to 30 seconds, and you keep rejecting the call - you get literally 10+ rings.* SIMPLE solution - you have an existing setting under the QUEUE call handling setup - under WAIT SETTINGS - that says: "When members are available, but no members answer or all members are busy or unavailable".... and the ONLY Option for normal users is "WAIT". RFE: Simply add a second option here which is "SEND TO VOICEMAIL". That way, if the people called by the queue ALL reject the incomin

URGENT!!!I'm not sure when this started, but everyone is able to see when a call is being monitored. You can see here that ext 8006 is monitoring 8002. How do I disable this?!?!

HelloThe ring central application on my Dell computer will not ring when any one calls. Instead, it waits until the person has disconnected from the attempted call and then Ring Central notifies me that I have a missed call. I have verified my settings are correct and notifications are coming through as normal. When I do call someone they cannot hear me at all although I can hear them.This same thing occurs when I log into Ring Central through Chrome. The Ring Central app works perfectly fine call wise on my personal cell phone. As far as the application on my computer goes I can still text and fax documents no problem. The only issue is with calling.Any help would be greatly appreciated.Thank You
