Hello, Months ago our team disabled the Callback functionality within RingCentral. This removed fields like Callback Date from the widget. We still had the dispostition "Callback" available for the team to select but wanted to disable to the callback feature because the Callback prospects were popping up at incorrect times. The strange thing is that we are still seeing Callback dates populated eventhought it isnt available for the Call Center to populate. Can some please help me understand why?

Hello. I have a user that answers the general phone line for customers calling in. We have this set as a call queue group. They volunteered to be the first to answer every time. However, they want the ability to leave the call queue for a few hours to let other users answer the line instead, but while still maintaining the ability for coworkers to call them, so DND would not work in this case. Is there an easy way for the user to do this? Thanks!

What does the "stopped" action result in Ringcentral call log mean?In the call log report, I show the same number showing up same date/time, but with two different durations times. One line item is listed as "VoiceMail" in the Action Result column and the other immediately after as "Stopped". ExampleFrom. Date. Time. Action. Action Result Duration123. 10/13/23. 2:03PM. I have a customer that will be moving to Ring Central from another provider. Typically when moving from one provider to another, I would follow the steps below. 1. Submit the port request to the new provider.2. Forward the calls from the previous provider's service to the new service. 3. Set the new system up so that the outbound caller ID spoofs the previous number. This allowed the customer to place outbound calls using the phone number that their clients would recognize. I can't seem to do that with Ring Central. If a number is registered as a Substitute Caller ID, it can't be ported. If it's not registered as a Substitute Caller ID, it can't be used as the Outbound caller ID.Has anyone found a solution to this issue?

We have a call center that uses Airtable. When someone calls back, is there anyway of having the Airtable record that matches that callerID popup?

The contacts that I had saved in the previous version of the app do not automatically come up when trying to send a new fax/text, but after sending it the contact name does show. Also, when I look up contacts it only shows internal/company contacts not the contacts that were saved in previous version. Is this something that is being worked on?

Is it possible to put a queue call on hold in order to answer a waiting call? For example, speaking with queue call customer-1, while customer-2 is queued. I want to put customer-1 on a brief hold to answer customer-2, then place customer-2 on hold and return to helping customer-1. Once done, then take customer-2 off of hold.

Hello,I am a new customer and I could use some help understanding some things before I implement. Currently the company owns a Netgear GS324TP POE managed switch and a Linksys WRT3200ACM router. We just ordered 8 Polycom VVX phones, so there likely won't be more than 10 simultaneous calls, but I expect the company to grow and therefore I should plan for up to 20 simultaneous calls. I plan on connecting the desktops to the 2nd port on the phones. Other ports on the switch will connect about 7 printers and scanners.I am led to believe that I should configure VLANS on the switch, one for tagged voip traffic, one for data traffic (desktops and printers) and one for wifi, plus the default VLAN for management.I can configure the VLANS on the switch, but I'm not sure if the WRT3200ACM router can deal with VLANS. Does anyone have a recommendation for a proper router that I can configure the various DHCP interfaces on to accomodate the VLANS? I'm thinking of

For the last few weeks I have been unable to receive any faxes from # 848.444.9801. I receive from everyone else & I am able to send to # 848.444.9801. I was receiving from them prior to a few weeks ago with no problem. They have called their software people & internet. Everything is good on their end. Please advise. Thank you.

Not receiving Faxes today Yesterday worked fine. We are a new client. The sender receives a message that our fax line is busy. How can this be? We aren't sending and only receive faxes from two contacts, today only one is active.

We have been receiving reports from users that their Polycom VVX 450 desk phones are rebooting, sometimes in the middle of a call (as just happened to me) and doing some kind of file upload. The message on the screen shows, among other things, "Uploading 1 of 1 core files". I want to suggest having the fax receipt with the attachment of the outbound fax with the fax that was sent.

The users in my organization are becoming concerned after receiving these notification emails that states to the user "an administrator of your RingCentral phone system has turned on automatic call recording on your extension". My employee receives this notification at random and there is no audit log of this interaction. There is no way of turning off this email notification without turning off call recording for the user all together. The other option is to change all user email to one a single email. neither of the option or good enough, I need the employee to still receive email notification of their missed calls. My employee feels as if IT department are listening in on their calls and we need a solution to remove this notification completely or re-word the email in such a way that it doesn't villainize my department. All faxes to one of our branch locations are showing as missed calls, and nothing is being delivered. We have rebooted the ATA device and the fax / printer machine. Both are online, O@H homepage shows the ATA device being online, the OBIHAI rings 3 times as its supposed too when we receiving a fax, but nothing is printed on the machine. The call log just shows missed calls over and over again.Have had a ticket open with ring central since the 6th and no response.

I understand that we have voicemail transcription for our extensions, but what about IVRs? Under the MVP settings, we do not have queues created, just individual IVRs on the RingCX platform. Is there an option or setting that I am just missing?

Can I see from my Admin account a log of SMS sent by users on our account?

Each user can listen to their recordings and we just found out can delete the recording from their app. When it is deleted from the user app will it be deleted from the admin portal? is there a way to not allow a user to delete the recording?

Hi,I am new to Ring Central and wanted to know how I know if a call is coming through on my mobile as a work call (through RC) or a personal call on my number. Do I need a separate phone for RC calls?

Our 'default' super admin left the company and I updated the 'default' super admin to be me. I updated all the details to be mine and moved my existing softphone over from my old profile to the existing super admin profile. The problem I now have is that the former super admin, who had all calls forwarding to their mobile, is now receiving calls made to my softphone but with my softphone as the caller ID. The calls are simultaneous ring as I'm getting them too. I've checked all the settings and can't find their number listed anywhere for me to remove or update it.

Windows Focus Assist is supposed to be a system-wide control over notifications. MacOS also allows for notifications to be turned off. I have Win10 Focus Assist set to Priority Only, which only is supposed to allow the apps in the priority list to give notifications (I've removed all).Why does RC ignore these settings? Is there a way to mute RC so incoming calls are not ringing during online meetings and popping up on my screen when I'm sharing it? RC should be following the rules for all apps, not ignoring them. I should not have to quit or silence each individual app--most play nice, but it seems RC does not.

I can't figure out how to change the folder where faxes are saved into. Currently it is saving into my downloads folder but I want it to save to my desktop. Can anyone help?
