Just getting started using app. I've gotten 2 calls forwarded to app today - only rings once (instead of specified 6 times) and I could not answer either call. Any idea why this is happening?

So I didn't buy my phone through RingCentral but its compatible. its the Polycom VVX 410. its connected to the internet but its not working at all. What are the next steps? I was on the phone with someone from spectrum for an hour and half yesterday following everything she was saying but we had no luck. Please help. Need this phone up and running ASAP for our office.

I have my router on my desk so I can use an ethernet cable I turned off the WiFi I've tried using a Jabra Evolve 2/30 and still I've had to call a customer back on my personal cell phone I went and bought a Logitech Zone wired 750 still bad clarity! I am trying to port / transfer my Google Fi phone number to RingCentral. I have followed the published Google Fi instructions to initiate this, including unlocking the number from my Google Fi account. When I go to transfer the number into RingCentral for our VoiP phone service, it gives me this message "The phone number you entered cannot be transferred at this time. If you still would like to have the number work with your RingCentral service, you may forward your calls from your current number to your RingCentral account."I've contacted Google support, and they tell me it is unlocked and should be ready to go. I contacted RingCentral support, and they told me everything is fine on their end. So now I'm in this loop of not being able to transfer my number since both companies point at the other one as the issue.Note: Google did give me an account / password to transfer the number out. Please excuse my ignorance if this is a stupid question, but is it possible to send an SMS message from a third-party application using our RingCentral account?I would like our Synology NAS to be able to send SMS from our office to my personal cell phone when there is a problem with the network. In the NAS operating system (DSM 7.1), there is a feature that will push SMS messages to any phone using an SMS account. I don't think it is possible to send it through the RingCentral windows app.In order to do this, I need a URL for RingCentral's SMS service and I need to know whether it uses a GET or POST http protocol. I assume that the login and password would be the same as for my RingCentral account.Is this information I can get from RingCentral or is it not available?

I am unable to see any gifs at all. I have already tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app several times and it has not worked. Any ideas on how to fix this?

First, chatting with a bot is not "Live Chat." Second, according to the website, "Live phone support for RingCentral MVP (2+ users) plans is available 24/7." I never got past the robot and then it said "live service is only available M-F." I am getting increasingly upset with this customer service, or lack of it. My question is this: If I have unlimited digital calling in the US and I don't use any international or toll-free calling, why am I automatically purchasing calling credits? Do calling credits cover faxes and SMS? And if they do cover SMS, why are SMS bundles sold separately? How much is faxing? And why did I autopurchase $20 worth of calling credits if I already had $18+ available:

I have been trying to figure out how to do live monitoring on Ring Central in the Supervisor area and i clicked on the no monitor part and put in my phone number in the box that popped up for Audio Connect and now i can't seem to get it to go back to blank. Does anyone know how to clear this back to its original state?

Hi,I don't found a response at the simple question : "is it possible to configure a holyday rules or calendar for all my company (a lot of sites, IVR, call queue...) ?"

There is currently no way in an IVR just have callers remain on the line to be directed to a queue. There is the time out option where after the IVR repeats three times you can send the call to an extension. We need an option to send the call to an extension if no buttons are pressed after the first time the IVR menus are played.

I work off a Google Chrome Box and have the Ring Central App for Google. Too many times I am typing a text message and my text disappears, sometimes it's just partial, sometimes the whole thing disappears (multiple times on the same text). There are no incoming calls or texts when this happens. But it is very frustrating. Any information would be appreciated. TYIA

When registering for The Campaign Registry, it was clear that, even with conversational texting, we need to provide a way to opt out of texting. If someone opts out of conversational texting, there appears to be no way to block the texting feature on a number without blocking the calling as well. Does anyone have any insight here?

WE use Mitel 6930 phones and are not able to conference in more than one caller. We need to be able to do this as not all users have the app installed . Help! Not an issue on Mitel before acquisition of Ring Central.

Texts are coming in broken and out of order. You literally have to "connect the dots" to figure out what is being said.Is this a way to charge us more with the new SMS charges? It's not very professional and if we have to submit this as a legal document, we have to "alter" it to make sense of what is being stated - which is not acceptable with legal discovery documents.

What is the reason the RC Meetings is being retired in favor of RC Video? I'm not opposed to the upgrade, I'm just curious why its happening and forcing me to do the uninstall/reinstall process. We are a small, 100% remote company and don't currently employ any device management technologies that would allow me to do this remotely (and automated) for our workforce.

According to this Desktop App support page, I can disable the Use Standalone Window For Phone Calls option in Settings. You can see by the below image that the option does not appear in my Desktop App Settings.How do I disable the Use Standalone Window For Phone Calls option?

No issues dialing out, but if I reach an auto-attendant, it does not hear my number selections. Only happens via my desktop app. RC tech support has not been able to help. Checked to make sure I've got most up to date version. Has anyone experienced this?

I am the receptionist for our firm. How do I transfer calls for people I know are on vacation directly to their voicemail from the Poly VVX450 desktop telephone?

When using the desktop application and attempting to transfer a call but the recipient isn't available to take the call - we have not found a way to keep the call live without it hanging up on all parties. Ex: I receive the call and attempt to transfer to Joe. Joe doesn't answer, or doesn't want to take the call. When I switch back to the caller, if Joe hangs up, it disconnects the call for everyone. If I click the small hang-up button next to Joe, it disconnects the call for everyone. If Joe's voicemail picks up while I've taken the call back, it disconnects the call for everyone. What are we missing on how to take that call back without it disconnecting??

Is there a methods to automatically remove card data from recorded phone calls for PCI compliance?

So, one of our users has been getting the error consistently when trying to attach files in Ring Central Message. The file name turns red, and the file won't send. But the files do exist. The permissions on the folders are normal, and I've even tried to deleting the user's profile on the computer and having them remake it in order to rule out a user account issue, still nothing. It will not work from other ring central accounts on her user profile, but it will work on ring central accounts on other user profiles on the same computer. I have no idea what's happening, I'm at a loss here. Does anyone know what could be going on?

The Outlook plug-in is not allowing me to type an Outlook contact name that brings up a phone number. When I type a phone number, it doesn't link to its Outlook contact. When I go into the Outlook contact, it doesn't give me any option to use SMS or call using RingCentral. I am able to call out and receive calls and texts.
