Change fax subject line for email to fax

We discovered today that activating HUD (Beta) within the Ring Central app caused an issue with our main line call queue being dropped upon answering the phone (caller would receive a "goodbye" after we picked up the queue). This does not impact our direct individual lines (calls can be answered). Thus we turned it off and are resorting back to utilizing the Ring Central Phone app to answer calls (and access HUD). Assuming this is a software bug that Ring Central will need to address, as it may potentially impact more people than us alone (ie those with call queue's set up). Is this impacting anyone else?

The new RC app doesn't have the option to change the skin tone on emoji's like the Glip app used to have. Now the only option for skin tone is yellow. Add additional colors please!

We have a receptionist who transfers calls to my extension during the day. When she does this my cell phone rings at the same time as my office phone. When we are after hours the office phone still rings but my cell does not. Settings all seem correct. What are we doing wrong?,,We have a receptionist during business hours who sends calls to my extension. My cell phone gets these calls simultaneously as well DURING THE DAY. When in After Hours, calls still hit my extension but do NOT go to my cell phone. Any ideas what could be wrong? Settings all look correct.

Hello there,Its possible to send a fax via outlook/email client to a fax number with @rcfax.com. Can we not do the same with a multifunction printer by using the scan to email function? I have tested but it seems to not go through.

There are multiple guides/sites explaining how to add teams to folders. That option does not seem to exist anymore.

Team Folder feature on Glip has been removed for new accounts while RingCentral works on enhancements for that feature. Do we have an ETA when it will be reintroduced? 

Is there a webinar that gives a good overview of the Ring Central webinar features and/or a how-to guide? I am clicking through lots of links but it would be helpful to see what a webinar should look like as an attendee, what are helpful features, and how to use them (spotlight vs. pin), etc. We are muddling through and any tips would be helpful. We want the ability to1. Have user saved custom status messages2. Ability to save custom status at the corporate level- I.E At Lunch, Gone Home.3. Ability to see a group of users and their status on the RC app.

When using the new RC app, is there a one click option to start or join a RC conference (RC bridge number and RC personal access code)?

Starting recently with the new RingCentral Chrome app, when I try to use the application for the first time on a new system I haven't used before, it's supposed to have a popup asking me to "allow microphone/audio" for this webpage.This isn't happening sometimes and the Chrome softphone won't initiate Chrome to ask the question. The Chrome browser no longer has the option to set this manually in settings either.Things I have tested this on, Windows 10 and Chrome OS (version 65). The same problem happens on both types of computers.Using the hamburger menu on the RingCentral app and choosing settings to pick a different "Calling" option and then switching it back to "Browser", no effect. Going to the Audio tab it says, "The app does not have permission to use microphone" with the option to "Check Permission", this also has no effect and won't trigger the popup, only the following message,

How do I add phones I have purchased that are not in my Unassigned Phone section to my inventory. I would like to set these up as common phones for our return to the office. Currently I am having to add them to a user by swapping out existing phone. This option to add and existing phone not purchased seems to have disappeared in all but the swap section.

We send faxes via email. That stopped working on Apr 22, 2021.RingCentral had informed us about Email-to-Fax Security Enhancement that they were going to perform on Apr 21, 2021. No downtime was expected. After the update, faxes sent with DKIM signatures that do not match with the domain's public DNS records will fail. If you do not use DKIM signatures with your emails, you will not see any change with your email-to-fax transactions.We don't use DKIM. For us, no action was necessary. However, email-to-fax stopped working the following day.Our outgoing messages have no DKIM headers:Authentication-Results: spf=none (sender IP is x.x.x.x) smtp.helo=subdomain.domain.com; accountname.mail.onmicrosoft.com; dkim=none (message not signed)And yet, we were impacted.WorkaroundHere's the workaround we applied. Hello,I have 2 locations and am wondering if the following is possible:i have a coordinator working mainly out of office 1, he receives calls from office 1 and office 2. What i need to happen is if a customer from office 2 calls while he is in office 1 and he needs to call said customer back, can he use his deskphone to call out as if calling out of office 2 so that callerID is local and the same number the customer called.If this feature does not exist can it be added.,I need to know if the following is possible:I have 2 offices, my coordinator mainly works out of office 1, my question is if someone calls office 2 and my coordinator needs to call them back, is there anyway to call the customer back as if he is calling out of office 2 so that caller ID shows local to the customer and appears as the number they called? I'm really new to RC, sorry for the noob question.My RC setup has both 3 digit and 4 digit extensions.All my users currently just use the RC app. So "dialing" an extension is literally just choosing the person's account they are trying to contact. I haven't used a physical desk phone on RingCentral. Let's say one user has extension 400 and another has extension 4000. If a person is trying to dial ext 4000 how does the phone/RC know they aren't trying 400? Do they need to dial # or something after?Thank you!

I would like to have a Flex office and have a phone (Polycom) in the office where users can login and access their phone profile. How can I do that? And if I drop power to the phone will that log the user out?
