We have several main numbers to our locations that are setup as site numbers. For some reason customers will text these numbers. We are unable to respond via SMS to the customer from these numbers and more times than not we have no idea who they are trying to reach. What can be done to stop these texts and ultimately stop the billing associated with them?

I find hard to believe that the mobile or desktop app wont allow me to attach a PDF. That is the most basic attachment needed for most businesses. Is there a workaround for this issue?

We using now RingEx premium and number of users(qty) 49.But, this plan not included send out SMS(aka. text message) function.If we want to use SMS function, how much charge more.Please let me know several pricing cases.Thank you!

My company would like to establish automated text drip campaigns through what I would assume to be an API/CRM that could be integrated with RingCentral. Ideally, this would send out automated text messages to our customers the day prior to their rentals being delivered, another automated text to notify customers that their rental ends tomorrow and that they must call us to schedule pickup, and then automated reminder texts each week updating their balance for the additional days of the rental ($70 for example) while also reminding the customer they must call us to schedule a pickup. Is there still not a way to see deleted text messages? The last time someone asked was in 2020. I called and the person I was spoke with kept insisting I could and trying to walk me through it, but what he was trying to get me to do did not make sense.

I'm trying to determine if there's a way to create an IVR option that would automate sending an SMS to a caller. For example, "If you would like a link to request party information sent to your phone, press 1". In turn the system would either send an SMS to the phone number that's calling with the link or it would ask the caller to enter the 10 digit number they would like the link sent to. Does anyone know a way to do this?

When bulk sending SMS, we always want to send SMS as individual messages rather than to a group. To do so, we manually uncheck "Create group text". This works as expected.The issue we are running into is that the people sending bulk SMS tend to forget to uncheck "Create group text".Is there a setting or a workaround to set default "Create group text"

Hello. As manager of our organization, I would like to monitor my team's interactions with our customers. And if possible, also grant our Assistant Manager access to everyone's messages/interactions. Is there a way to do this?

Has anyone come across an option for when porting in a number to a new RC account and enabling SMS sooner due to the delay in TCR? We can't have this huge delay (up to 20 days) when new RC accounts open and waiting on TCR. If a customer was using SMS a day ago with an exiting number then ports over to RC there could be up to a 20 day delay, this is not good for their customers. RC should allow a 30 day grace period for port in numbers while waiting on TCR.

Our TCR and campaign information is squared away. We have instances where a customer will text us, but our response will not go out. We have another system that will text the number with no problem. I am nearing the end of my patience with Ring. This is NOT what I bought when I began as a customer. The latency in the tech support system is so significant it is ineffective. I have wasted at least an hour today.

Example: Someone will be out of office; and we need for their inbound SMS text messages to forward to a different extension while they're out of office- similar to call forwarding, but for SMS.

We're unable to delete Direct Messages. When we assign a new user to an existing phone/extension, the new user's name is inserted into the Direct Messages that the previous user created. For example, Dick and Jane are sending Direct Messages to each other. Jane quits and then Bruce is hired and is assigned Jane's old extension. The Direct Messages now look like they are between Bruce and Dick, and they can't be deleted. So Bruce now is privy to all these messages that aren't his business. I don't understand why the Text Messages are easily deleted, but the Direct Messages are apparently untouchable.

Is there a trick to searching the SMS Log under Reports? I've tried every scenario of number formatting that I can think of, click on Apply but all it does is refresh the screen with new SMS messages.Any tips would be appreciated.Thank you

I need to be able to copy the same 5 people for every SMS message I send. Is there a way to create a group and include them - example - SalesProspect (individual) plus SalesTeam (5 people in my back office group) - without having to manually add the 5 people every time?

I am trying to find out what the cost per SMS Message is and if there is a limit to the number of texts that can be sent on a monthly basis. In looking at the SMS Log I am seeing costs of .0085, .0017 and .0013 for each segment but am not sure how those values are generated. We do not subscribe to a SMS plan since our texting volume is fairly low.Any insight would be appreciated.Thank you

For the past three months we've been having issues with group text messages where if we send out a group text message and someone in the group has T-Mobile, that person does not receive a group text message. Instead, they receive an individual text message from us and when they respond, it only comes back to us. This becomes an issue when say borrowers, agents, brokers, attorneys, etc. are all trying to get on the same page and the person using T-Mobile only sees the text from us and none of the other recipient's responses. It's been causing a lot of unnecessary confusion. We've run into this numerous times now and are able to easily replicate the issue. We even replicated it when it first started happening with Customer Support during our first 3-hour call to them trying to fix this. I have it set to backup both calls and SMS. It's backing up the calls it seems but not the SMS. How do I fix this?
