For texting I use the Window Desktop app and get charged only when I go over my monthly limits. 1) I need to know what all the costs are associated with the changes in the text industry and Ring Centrals service fee changes) What are the TCR re-occurring fees?b) Ring Central re-occurring feesc) Text fees. How many texts per month are free under the premium plan. What is the exact cost for over usage.d) Ring Central Brand fees2) Regarding new campaign brand. Will on campaign cover all my different texting message, including back and forth texting to my customers, mass texting to invite customer to join my service list, mass appointment reminders, etc, etc3) My TCR registration is pending. Can I go ahead and create the Campaign brand or do I need to way for my TCR application to get accept

Hello,I'm new to RingCentral and a little confused about the best practices around managing the Client ID and Client Secret.I'm building an integration for an e-commerce platform to allow transactional order messages to be sent to customers via SMS. In the past, with other API integrations, I've created an interface in the platform's Admin panel where the merchant (owner of the store/website) can configure their access credentials that are used for retrieving the API token.If I understand RC correctly, however, I must first create an App and then somehow provide the merchant with its Client ID and Client Secret. Those values, in turn, would be used to collect the merchant's access credentials (in the Admin panel) via OAuth or a JWT.Is it safe to store the Client ID and Client Secret in my integration, or is there a better way to provide them to the merchant?My intention is to make this integration available publicly to merchants and have it be as simple as possible

I was just recently granted SMS permission. Could I also get FAX permission as well -- or is that something I can do myself?

We don't use SMS for anything but texting our store managers if they are having an issue that requires them to call us back for support. We have never texted a customer, and have no mechanism to ever send SMS campaigns. Anything to do with marketing SMS/Email is 100% outsourced third-party for them to send and is managed on their own hosted systems. I'm struggling with understanding how I am supposed to fill out a form that is not applicable to our business and yet keep SMS to our internal employees.

Admins need the ability to disable MVP features if we choose. If we use another app for meetings, chat, sms, etc. Admins need the ability to disable these features for all users.

I have been trying to get SMS approval for over a month. I spend 2 hours a day on hold with Ring central. This is truly affecting our business and every time I call I am transferred multiple times to diff people until I am finally hung up on with no call back. This is so disappointing. I just do not understand why someone can not just tell me what the issue is. Feels like I am calling a company that has 4 employees in the Philippines who are very friendly but have no authorization to do anything. CAN ANYONE HELP ME?? Just don't know what to do anymore.

I need for when we get an incoming call for some sort of information popup to trigger that gives info to my users. we have multiple DID's in our system that when called, the caller id shows the number of the caller obviously but also the name of the queue (which corresponds to a region that we cover).there's extra info that we need to know about that call/queue that's written on a clip board on side each phone that changes daily. I would like for when each queue gets a call that relevant info pops up with the call on the screen. it mostly just a name of a person, their phone number, what city they're currently working in and a few other small detailsdont need a full fledged CRM which I know could be programmed to do this bc I'm not looking to pay for a CRM that I'm not really using all the features. but if its the only way, some sort of cheap CRM type service that will do this.Is their some sort of integration ringcentral addon that can pull data from my own

My team uses RingCentral Video to facilitate classes. Is it possible to share a file within RingCentral Video? I can find documentation regarding RingCentral Meetings and the RingCentral Video app for mobile, but cannot find a way to do so through either the desktop browser or app. Please advise.

My team and I cannot send texts to clients. There is no option for that on the dekstop app. Also, we cannot see text history of texts sent from the mobile app.Clients also reported to us that they are not receving texts from us even though we have sent them numerous times.We have a dedicated phone number for each team member as well as extensions. Roles have been updated to Super Admin so everyone can send SMS. We have tried uninstalling and them installing but still nothing!This has been happening since we moved to RingCentral last week. This is giving us a headache since we use texts heavily to contact clients. We are losing business over this.

Our SMS is not working and tech support blamed the TCR process. How is that possible since March 31st is the deadline and there is not supposed to be service disruption. I submitted our TCR 30 days ago. Need answers.

Due to each department having different hours our "Business Hours" are set to 24 hours. We utilize IVR's to manage call routing for business hours and after hours. I'm in the process of reworking a few of them and was wondering how is it determined what IVR takes precedence over another? Are there certain key aspects of each IVR that dictate this?

Is there a way to get notifications of status changes of outbound SMS. As in we have sent an SMS through the API.. can we subscride to a status change event, becuase initially what you get when yuou create the message is 'Queued' is there a way to register (subscribe) to an event/notification that lets you know that the message sent. Looking at the Notifications Types, is it to do with Message Event? as in I would have to subscribe to /restapi/v1.0/account/{accountId}/extension/{extensionId}/message-store?type=SMS&direction=Outboundto receive status changes on sent messages? would that be correct.and for Inbound SMS the event is/restapi/v1.0/account/{accountId}/extension/{extensionId}/message-store/instant?type=SMSI'm confused as to why inbound SMS wouldn't just be (whats the difference between Message Event and Instant Message Event?)/restapi/v1.0/account/{accountId}/extension/{extensionId}/message-store?type=SMS&direction=Inboundand ultimately if I would like

We are using the Windows version of the RingCentral app (version 22.4.34.6382 Windows).On the main call log screen, it shows the Caller's Name that we add on the Contact Card, but it'd be nice if we could also see the Company Name field that is on their contact card.Screenshot 2023-02-22 210315.png

I've been reading through the forum questions and information on the various RingCentral pages and am still somewhat confused. In the TCR business registration checklist, it states the following: You must have consent from customers to receive an SMS before you can register with TCR. Otherwise, your application will be rejected. We are local government, currently using high-volume SMS to remind people of court dates and other information regarding court appearances. It isn't possible for us to identify and obtain consent from individuals who may receive a ticket in the future prior to registering with TCR. Is that information incorrect?I am also not clear on how to register our city numbers. I read in the FAQ's "we require just your main business and support numbers. RingCentral will move all your existing numbers under your new TCR brand ID and SMS campaign." However, on other pages of the website it's indicated that any numbers not registered will lose sms

We have several Azure joined devices that are used by multiple staff members (receptionists) and found that RingCentral phone is installed on each individuals user profile " C:Users**User**AppDataLocalProgramsRingCentral.exe" as opposed to a true installation. The problem is that each time a new user sits at one of these pc's we are having to reinstall the RingCentral phone app. This position has quite a bit of turnover and are constantly going through the install process.Is anyone else running into this issue? If so how did you make is less cumbersome?

I have a client who claims to have left multiple voicemails over the last couple of weeks. I see the missed call in my log but no voicemail (not on the phone app, desktop app and I'm not getting an email). This client has a tendency to ramble in messages and I'm wondering if she's hitting the time limit for messages and for some reason it's not saving? Is there any way to fix this?

We are wanting to expand our ring central service to our additional location. But we don't want or need an IVR menu. I just need one main line to go to a call queue and the other main line to go to another call queue but when enabling Multi-Site service is requires you to use a multi-level IVR menu?

We are based in the UK with RingCentral. Can we set up users on the UK RingCentral account that are based in our Indian office? Are these users then able to make calls into the UK PSTN, or any other countries PSTN.

My TCR registration is unsuccessful on the Admin Portal. According to the KB article, if it is unsuccessful, "make the necessary changes TCR indicates in your application, then resubmit. " But I do not see where the indications are. When I click resubmit, it takes me to the Order Confirmation page. When I click back, the window closes. What should I do? The information I entered initially were all correct.

I'm having issues with limited or no phone numbers available from Ring Central for my area codes (NC / SC). Some area codes aren't even listed. Is anyone aware of a known issue with RC's phone number inventory or is anyone else having issues with this?

Where is the self-register function located so I can register with TCR? I can't seem to find it.

I submitted the PDF version of the SMS Campaign Registration on February 17th because the admin portal did not have the TCR registration. Do I still submit a campaign registration via the admin portal?

I do not want RingCentral to launch on startup of my computer. I've removed the shortcut from my startup folder and it keeps reinstalling itself every couple of days. I want this to stop. I've look all through the setting of RC and looked at settings, apps, startup and it's not in there. So why does it keep doing this? Make it stop! I want to turn it on when I need it, and not be on when I don't need it.

Has the self-registration within the admin portal been released? Or should customers fill out registration form instead?
