If UI has three diff lists (outgoing, missed, and incoming), then getting incoming and outgoing lists with pagination is easy as those two filters are out of the box (direction filer) but not possible to paginate just missed call records. Is there any filter to ask only missed call records with pagination? Sure we can ask for incoming records only and filter missed on the client-side but in that case, if a specific page does not have any data, then we have to keep asking next page automatically until we get the data which is not good for the server in term of load. We are looking for a Notification type that will inform us of:Newly purchased phoneNumber(s) arrive in our Inventory (unassigned), available for assignment.phoneNumber(s) are released back to RingCentral/Carrier.A phoneNumber is unassigned from an ExtensionID and returns to Inventory (unassigned)Assume eithera) The ExtensionID was deleted (phoneNumber returned to Inventory) or,b) The phoneNumber was simply removed/unassigned from the ExtensionID.We subscribe to ~/restapi/v1.0/account/~/extension, and do receive Events listed in its API Reference page, except the Unassigned event for case a) and b) [ list item > phone numbers (assign/unassign) ]. We will be debugging that a bit more, collecting details for a service ticket if needed.We need guidance on items 1 & 2 above; what Notification type would generate those Events?Thanks in advance!/paul

When trying to add an admin to my account the add button is greyed out. i can only select cancel. just setup ringcentral for faxing with this plan. RingCentral Fax1500 I can add guests by invite but not an admin

New to Ring Central. We get a lot of calls that when we answer no one is on the other end. Is it possible that spam caller computers don't work well with VOIP and disconnect before annoying us or are we missing legitimate calls??

Been using RC Phone on Win 10 for a while with my Jabra headset, it worked great. So I decided to switch to the bigger RC app to get familiar with it before we end up switching our entire organization. But there's a problem...I have no audio on OUTBOUND calls. If somebody calls me, it works great. If I call out, even internal numbers and queues, there is no audio at all. The headset still works perfectly for Teams calls and meetings through Windows, but not outgoing calls with the RC Desktop App.

We have an automation for our IT tickets, when an agent hangs up with a caller it creates a ticket and then links to RingCentral's call recording for the call to listen to later. What we would like to do is dump the recording as an attachment to that ticket/email, this would allow us to keep recordings longer. How am I able to do that? We looked through "Get Call Recordings Data" (https://developers.ringcentral.com/api-reference/Call-Recordings/listCallRecordingData) but are not sure how to take that data in Python and save it as a MP3/WAV file. We have tried taking r.text() and exporting the bytes to a WAV file, but then it returns that r.text() is does not contain only byes(which it doesn't). We have tried loading r.text() into pydub as well, but it does not read it either. Is this not possible with Python?

Is there a way to have a call ring the receptionist and then be sent to an IVR menu if no-one answers?

We would like to use the Ring Central Desktop app to one-click fax or text non-Ring Central numbers. It's not reasonable to ask all the doctors' offices we fax, and doctors we text, to provide an email address and ask them to take time to download and setup a Ring Central app. They just won't do it. It seems reasonable that if I can type in a random phone number to send a text, that I would be able to save that number in a list of contacts. Maybe there is a way to access our "personal" contacts from ringcentral.com? We use the Standard plan. Thank you.

We have 15 message only extensions setup as efaxes and am trying to generate a report that lists each one of the efax extensions and gives a total for each for a specified date range. I've tried utilizing the call log but it only allows me to select one extension at a time which is quite time consuming since this will be run on a weekly basis. I've also looked under the analytics reports but am not seeing any criteria for message only extensions. Am I missing something? Is there a better way of doing this?

I bought a CISCO CP 8861 phone from an online retailer since it was on the list of phones supported by RingCentral. I tried to auto provision and it failed. I then tried to reach the phone using its ip address in a browser so that I could manually provision. I kept getting a message that the connection was refused. I could ping the phone but not get it in a browser. I spent an hour with Ring Central tech support and got no where. Then it was another hour with CISCO to learn that I needed the support contract number held by the Amazon seller. I called him and found out the answer to the problem, which I am posting here so other users don't waste 3 hours. When you buy a CISCO phone from Ring Central it is a 3PCC model and will work. When buying from others, unless your get the 3PCC model, the phone will never work on RingCentral. Why? CISCO originally built its phones for CISCO phone systems. Hi! I'm setting up our system right now on Salesforce and I was wondering if it was possible to automatically create a lead upon ringing on RingCentral and use the Call Queue name as the Lead Source. Client Calls Call Queue > Line Rings > Salesforce Creates Lead with Call Queue Name as Lead Source Thank you!

So all of our inbound, unanswered phone calls go to our emails. However, all of the transcriptions come, but without the audio recording. As nice as the feature is, it doesn't always provide the most accurate version of what people say. I am curious to know if there is something wrong with our set up. All admin have permissions and receive the emails, they just do NOT include the audio player with them. Is there any way to fix this?

My Windows administrator is having some challenges deploying the RC app via .exe. Deploying the .msi file is certainly easier and more reliable, but we'd like our end-users to at least be prompted to update when an update is available. Are there any additional options for deploying the RC UC app with auto-update? Thanks.

We have a need to disable auto-update of the RingCentral App (newest version). It appears to auto-update and our desire would be to push those updates out intentionally and in a controlled way for multiple reasons. This would be for the Windows desktop version.I can't find any articles related to this latest version. Hoping someone has tackled this.

I ported a number from Google Voice to RC today, and am in the process of provisioning my phone. I'm a little lost when navigating the menus because I can't find an advanced settings list. There's a device admin and unlock admin settings menus, but I am unable to access them due to an invalid password. I did do a reboot and cancellation to reset the password to 456. That password worked when I rebooted it, but I can't use it to access some menus. I've tried modes IPV4 and 123. I did change the addressing type from static to DHCP.

Can you tell me how I can remove my extension from receiving "all" incoming calls and only receiving calls "directly" to my extension? I work in an office with 20 others and somehow my extensions receives all incoming calls. Thanks.

A user mentioned that she'd received several calls from another user, and when she reached out to him, he said he had not called her. My first thought was that he had fat-fingered and hung up right away after realizing he'd called her by mistake. I sent her the call logs from analytics, and she pointed out that there were two 10 minute calls with a status of Missed, which is weird. He confirmed that while she is one of the only people he calls (he's fairly new) that he did not call her on those occasions.(He does have the RC app on his smartphone, and it occurred to me that his kid could have accidentally called her, or that he is somehow butt-dialing her. The 10 minute Missed calls (with no voicemails left) don't make any sense, though.I'd appreciate any insight...
