There was a thread regarding "Add Alternative Host Feature in RingCentral Meetings" where RingCentral reps had promised for literally years to add the ability to have multiple people be able to start a meeting.The last update for that was "sometime in 2020" and they've since killed that message board entirely.This is still urgently needed. Such a basic issue of feature parity with Zoom should not take that long to implement.

When making an outgoing call is there a way to slow down the dialing process? If not quick enough system indicates that the number you are dialing is not valid

I'm looking for a feature that Google Voice has. I want to dial out from the desktop app and the phone app execute the "dial out".Steps laid-out:1) I Input the number via Desktop App --> 2) I hit dial --> 3) Phone App "picks up/receives the command" for step 2's dial out request --> 4) Phone app executes dial out request ,I'm looking for a feature that Google Voice has. We have created a Que, that has 14 - 16 800#'s tied to. ( A rule was created, directing these numbers to a Que)We would like to pull reports per phone number, then per member, then pull how many calls this member answered from the particular 800#. Then average handle time.From what I was able to find, via the site and speaking to one of your knowledgeable reps, this is not possible at this time.It is very important to us to know how many calls are coming in per 800# assigned to the que, since each number represents a different project of ours.

Apple iOS support: Apple phones running iOS older than 12.1 will no longer be supported. The last version of the RingCentral mobile app those phones will be able to install is the March 22, 21.1.30 version.

Are there any plans to make fax custom cover pages a default option for email to fax? Or even through the new main RingCentral app? It's an industry required need to be able to add a confidentiality statement to the cover page and currently this is not possible.

When I receive a call through the mobile app the screen in call screen is black instead of white and does not offer me the 'transfer' or 'more' option. I'm unable to transfer calls to other users. Is there a setting that I can fix for that?

As the title states, I am unable to delete a Ring Central meeting scheuduled with my org's trial account and I'n getting a 3003 error.  I have a permanent account now and can create and delete Ring Central meetings created with that one, but I'm unable to modify or cancel a recurring meeting made with the old account. It simply cannot be removed from Outlook. Please help.

When a meeting is cancelled, I receive Error Code 3003 - Cannot delete this meeting.  I receive the pop up several times.  I can close out of the error code pop-ups and the meeting is still deleted, but I should not be receiving this message

Hello,Whenever I misspell a word, I get the red squiggly line, but when I right-click the word, I get NO options for the appropriate word. I've tried on very simple, often corrected words. I feel like its just broken, or a setting is off...Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I'm having two major problems one is I'm noticing that the Bluetooth does not connect when I make phone calls from time to time. It's actually happening quite often I'll initiate a phone call in the Bluetooth just simply is not connected and I cannot force it to connect and have to hang up and call again and hope it connects. Secondly while listening to music when I receive a call the music will pause but that when I hang up the music will show as playing but I cannot hear it because the application is still engaged somehow. I have to actually dismiss the application in the multi-task settings and then restart up the application again to make another phone call. And I have to do this constantly in between phone calls which effectively means I cannot listen to music and make calls.

I believe there is missing a folder and file (s) in the RingCentral directory of Github for the Python SDK. With RC's relationship with Zoom "no longer good", will Polycom and other Zoom compatible devices still work with RingCentral rooms, etc.? (i.e. Poly Studio x30 or x50) To hopefully clarify...Is it the technology that is compatible, not something "Zoom specific" RingCentral will be missing? Thanks!

I would like to know if I can create a group for the phone numbers I have. Then when I create the group I would like to text the whole group the same message. Is this possible? Or maybe I can leave a voice message and have that voice message sent to everyone in that group. Can this be done with Ring Central?

I would like to have a shared text line (same as my main phone number) on every users application. Or have multiple operators that are assigned to a text phone number.

Hi,We would like to use Google's 2FA SMS feature with our test accounts, but don't want to use individual phone devices.Is there a way to use RingCentral to provide a shared phone number we can use as the Recovery method for all our test accounts.Would it be possible to then have the text messages sent to a Slack channel?Thanks!

RingCentral needs to add a very valuable service to its system. A Corporate Directory that can contain external contacts. Microsoft does this with their email servers because it is a valuable feature for communicating with people outside of your own company and managing that information centrally.For example: Multiple people in my company communicate with someone outside of the company. Microsoft allows you to add an external contact (name, phone, email) so that everyone (or designated people) can benefit from not directly knowing that info but have it appear in an email To, CC, or BCC line by typing their name when creating an email. If that info changes, the admin can update that entry and again, everyone who needs it benefits instantly.RingCentral needs to have a corporate directory that allows for external contacts so that the information can be centrally maintained and then put onto people's phone screens as a button similar to the Presence feature for internal contacts. Hopefully this is a simple question -- is there a way in the RingCentral App (particularly Windows Desktop) to create a hyperlink to a file stored on a network share? We have the need to link to files stored on our NAS but do not want to upload them up into the RingCentral App. If I cut and paste a link to the file location within a message, it isn't clickable. Tried using "", (), [], etc. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Started last week. Calls to an office group are causing a phone in another office to ring as well. That phone cannot however pick up that call. Very irritating now due to double the number of rings occurring.

Seems simple enough. My boss and I would both like to see all incoming faxes in our desktop apps.Someone has to have solved this problem.

I am the front line of the phones, and we have a setup where it rings on my mobile first (RingCentral App), then my physical phone in the office, then it rolls over to a group. However, every time a call comes in, one of the phones at the office will always ring 4 times before it goes to the front desk. The phone it is ringing on is not listed at all in my call group. My settings are all correct, we cannot figure out why this phone is ringing.

We are requesting the addition of either Call queue-based Caller ID (The Caller ID you are apart of determines the Caller ID) or adding Caller ID to individual system phone numbers on the account.We have a customer with multiple businesses operating out of the same phone system, but the users branch across the 3 different companies. They can easily take the calls for X Y and Z Company, but as it is currently, they cannot call out and show as that company name, unless they change their caller ID on their user account. And even then, it only shows the phone number currently for the queue, not the Company Name associated to that queue.Another way to go about this is to modify Multi-site = Allow users to be apart of multiple sites. I was informed Multisite allows you to call out as those specific locations number, and have caller ID for that location. Currently, a user can only be apart of a single site, and cannot be apart of multiple sites.Either way, this is important, and I know this c

Is there a concept of a "system wide speed dial" - I.e numbers we can program in that can be speed dialed from either a soft button on each phone, or dialing a special code (I.e. dialing "*1" from any phone on the platform would call a number we have defined in the system?)
