Hello,I am attempting to use the RingCentral embeddable widget and can use assistance in setting the redirectURL. I've followed this document for configuring the app, in developers.ringcentral.com. Step 4 indicates to add a redirect URL in app settings. I tried setting the OAuth Redirect URL to the following:https://apps.ringcentral.com/integration/ringcentral-embeddable/1.5.0/redirect.htmlBut to no avail. When attempting to log into the widget (embedded in a local Angular app), I receive "No redirect uri is registered for the client".I attempted to pass in the redirectURL, but receive the same error message. Is Ring Central is working on an automated text message feature so that we can automate text message reminders for phone calls we are going to make through ring central via a API or automation through gmail. Can someone please confirm an ETA on this feature?

I would like to share my idea of Pick up settings and members feature to RC support. Personally, I think it would be much better if the call will be ringing on both primary sequence and pick up groups after alert time so that we have both group to have chance of picking up the call which will reduce the wait time. I have purchased snap recordings for all of the voice prompts in my phone system and it sounds really nice. However, I cannot find a way to replace the default voice for the dial by name directory (which sounds horrible). I paid for and want to use custom voice prompts completely throughout the system. I selected Ring Central for the ability to "completely customize" my phone system and the fact that I cannot change this seems absurd.

I should think this would be a great option, especially for users on a limited budget.

Hi.So, I already have the integration working on production in the company's service I work on. It's generally working smoothly. I'm using the "/restapi/v1.0/account/~/telephony/sessions" webhook subscription.Nonetheless, I've just spotted a curious case where none of the events' payloads of the same call (they are 5 in total) has the `extensionId` inside the "parties" fragment of the payload, so I can't properly tell what's the call direction (among other things) and that is messing up with our call event processing logic.Any idea on what to do or how to handle this case?

Hello! We have been getting calls to our main line (no extension) but they do not leave a message, or leave a few seconds of blank message. They are not clients or leads of ours and appear from area codes across the US. Has anyone else had this issue? Are these likely automated telemarketing calls? Is there a do not call list I can enter? Thanks! Our number has been posted publicly on our site for a few years. This has been a problem for the past year. I realize five calls a day might not be a nuisance for some, but we receive a small call volume and our Director has stopped answering calls altogether because most of them are "fake".

Post phone call survey: A post phone call survey is something very coming. Unfortunately, this feature is not available on Rink Central (Only for the Contact Center) After an agent handles a telephone call, I would like the call to be transferred to a third party application (Phone number) where the color will have the option of participating in a satisfaction survey. Is there a possibility of making this happen, or any alternative?

For those of us behind a firewall that checks certificate validity, the site success.ringcentral.com has an error, which makes it inaccessible. Please fix this.I want to submit a ticket regarding an RC Yealink that's giving choppy audio under certain circumstances, and under those circumstances the RC iPhone app does not suffer the problem. I captured a PCAP on the firewall and all the stats appear to be perfect, but you can clearly hear choppy audio -- starting with the second ring -- and this only occurs with a Yealink, not the iPhone app. It also appears that RTP down is not encrypted (I can listen to it in Wireshark's RTP playback) but RTP up is encrypted (It appears empty in Wireshark's RTP playback).

Does anyone know if its possible to use the SMS API to send off a text to a customer after their call is missed? I've recently come across this feature from other VoIP providers and would really like to leverage it. We frequently get spammed called by customers while we are helping other customers and this would allow us to address those people simultaneously. My vision is we miss their call and the SMS gets sent to them and is then visible in the RingCentral app where we can text back and forth to resolution.

Somewhere in December or January my rate doubled. I don't know why, I am not even using the number right now due to COVID. I can't get an explanation from support and they won't issue a credit. I am being billed for a "land line" number I was never billed for before.

Our Company has the Company Name set as the Caller ID under Company info in RingCentral. But even with that one of the members of the Sales team still has there Caller ID show up as UNKNOWN CALLER or as another member of the team when it should just be the company name. This only happens on their Landline phone but not anything else. We have gone into the setting Outbound Calls/Faxes to change the specific Caller ID and it works afterwards temporarily. Then the next day it has changed back to the same problem. Any ideas for a permeant change? Is there something else that could effect it not being permeant like deleting cookies?

I'm using Windows 10 and MS Edge or Chrome for my browsers and the App shows updated 6-28-21. If I create tasks on my desktop they don't show in the phone app but tasks created in my phone app do show up in the desktop. We are new to RingCentral but my guess is that it should be syncing bilaterally.

Hello!We have been using Ring Central for disaster response for a few months we provide 24/7 services. Our current architecture is not functioning as we would like. Currently we have one account and one phone number for 7 people. It goes through the ring central app installed on both phones and computers. We get unreliable calling behavior (calls only ringing 2 or 3 times when our settings are set to 12 rings) not all team members getting the alert on their phone. What I have gathered from support is that this is not what the service was intended to do.What are our requirements?Each team member needs the following:Access to text messages from our main numberAccess to voicemails from our main numberSynced contacts across all accountsBe able

Hello,Is it possible to have Ringcentral Automatically Forward all received voicemails as e-mail attachments to a designated e-mail address? I'm aware how to manually forward one voicemail to e-mail at a time, but i'm looking for a setting to automatically do this consistently....Thanks!

I am trying to get an expansion module for my Cisco cp 8861. According to ringcentral, only CP-BEKEM-3PCC (Old) works for this phone, but I cannot seem to find it as Cisco has discontinued this module. Anyone know where I can find it online?

Account type - USRecently, we have had some issues with call forwarding to TMobile and MetroPCS phone numbers.  Is anyone else experiencing this.  If we have a ring group to an employee's desk phone and cell phone and set the rings to 6, the cell phone with these providers hardly or never rings.  Not sure if this is a known issue or if there is any way around it.  10 users affected.

Is there a way to link everyone to the same Voicemail? I have a message only extension but is there a way to make it everyone's default Voicemail so they can just press the mail button and it is there? My boss does not want anyone to have their own mailbox

Would you please make text typed into Body of email-to-Fax messages render on first page of received faxes?This would be very convenient for RingCentral users who simply need to send a brief Fax message of a sentence or two, instead of having to open a Word Processor program, typing the message into that, name the file and save it, then attach that file to the email-to-fax @rcfax.com message.Some of RingCentral's competitors have been offering this useful feature for many years.When RingCentral Fax users type text into the emai-to-fax Subject line, that text appears on the first page of the fax.Please enhance this by also allowing whatever text is is typed into the Body of an email-to-fax message to also appear on the first page of the received fax.Thank you!

I'm trying to set up a IVR where say for example Press 1 for customer support.This then rings multiple users extensions OR rings one then the other, then.. and if no answer goes to a voice mail all those users can check. I see some close features here in RC but not this ability. For example if I set up a phone queue, the voice mails can only be seen by an admin and they have to long into an entirely different place etc. Is there a way to set up a virtual extension and have that consecutive or simul ring the extensions and then go to a voice mail all can check... and can an alert go out there is a voice mail?

Hi, Is it possible to automatically pause and resume the call recording based on an application or specific webpage being opened? Here is the scenario: Customer calls and wants to make a card payment over the phone. Instead of the agent having to manually pause and resume the recording, could this be done automatically when the payment gateway is opened and closed on the PC?
