I have attempted to get it right since October 10th. I’ve gotten multiple rejections.Finally on December 23, I seem to have gotten it right. I haven’t gotten rejected  I was told to wait 20 business days, and now it seems I’m being told to wait longer. I’ve reached out to the TCR team several times and I’ve even told that it would be escalated. I then waited a week and called again and was told it would be escalated. Then I asked to speak to someone on the “escalation team” and I was told they don’t take calls, but I was given a number to call. the number and email I was given was my account manager who responded to my email by telling me to call the TCR team. This is affecting my business. We aren’t even made aware when a client attempts to text us- we only just found this out a week ago when a client told us they had tried to text us. can someone help! please!

Hello!  Is there a plan to add the AI notes functionality to the API?  For example, being able to enable Notes of a phone call via API, and also to be able to retrieve those notes?  Looking through the API, the only “notes” calls I see are for Messages, but not for phone calls.   Thanks! 

Yesterday at 4:26pm ET, our company's ability to send or respond to "text" messages just stopped. Now, we just get an error message stating "Unable to send message. Sorry this message couldn't be delivered." However, I can still receive messages. And I can still send photos, videos, and docs just not texts. This happened last month in which my account manager stated that I need to add a sms bundle, which I did and that tripled my monthly bill, but now it's not working again.I filled out the TCR application AFTER the issue started yesterday in which my brand is now registered and I'm waiting on the campaign to be approved. However, I'm not certain that this has anything to do with the TCR since I'm able to send photos, videos, and docs without limitation.I have called several times in which no one has an answer for me. When we dial out there is no sound and we can’t hear if the customer answered or if it went to voicemail. (But sound does come through in the recording) Calls going directly to voicemail on the customers end 

I am working on a call center product which is based on RingCentral queues. I’ve created a queue and assigned it a direct phone number. Now, I am using embeddable widget and I am able to receive and accept calls, so this part is working fine.However, I need to do some calls to my server API based on caller and recipient (direct queue) phone numbers and this is where I have issues. I am using event listener which is looking for a message with following type:rc-active-call-notify Most of the time it works fine, but sometimes this event is just not being fired, even though I do receive a call and can accept it without any issue.Also, if I just wait on the line, I can actually see that call is being “reset” (I see in browser console Event: Rejected and then Event: Terminated entries, the widget blinks as if it was re-rendered, but the call will still keep on ringing) and after that I do see rc-active-call-notify event. Problem is I have to wait like 10-15 sec which is not realistic in real

Is there a way to have the IVR selection show up with the Caller ID when using the RingCentral Salesforce Integration? 

I just spoke to the Ring Central helpline after attempting to text a PDF document. Helpline claims we should be able to text a PDF, however it's now allowing me to do so. I can text a PNG and a JPEG, but otherwise the options are "grayed out" on my laptop, or a pop up message says "this format is not supported." They mentioned issues like overage on our texting, or the PDF having an issue like a virus, both of which don't make sense. Please clarify if this is possible. Thank you!!

I was trying to port our main office number from office@hand to ring central. Both are voip providers. Office@hand uses ring central software. After the porting was successful, we are still not able to use the number anywhere - in neither applications. Ring central tells us it’s probably office at hand’s fault. We contact office@hand and they give us ring central’s email address!!!! the same one!!! they say that the ring central porting team also handles office at hand porting.The ported number still shows up at my office@hand account and it’s still visible, but not usable, on my office@hand app. Neither apps work to make outbound calls and neither apps are accepting inbound calls. Anyone tried to move from office@hand to ring central or vice versa?? Whom should I contact?

We have set up our SCIM link to Entra ID and we can provision users. The issue is that when users are being provisioned, their name on RC is not correct.DisplayName (Entra ID) - Test Username.giveName (RC) - Test User UserI cannot see why the DisplayName is being pulled through as having an additional surname. The displayName in Entra is ‘Test User’The attribute for name.giveName is set by the attributes in the Azure app. Has anyone else had this issue?

I need to get the incoming number so we can make use of it in our customer vb.net program. Launching a URL works but then everytime there will be a browser window opened, this is not optimal. I have tried a million things and can’t get the command to run. If i can just get it to save the number to a .txt file on the c:\temp that would be great. I would appreciate any help. this command runs when i press test but does not run when the call is connected c:\temp\ring.bat "+16505554092"i have a simple bat file that saves it to the file 

In Ring CX, is there anyway to cancel a ‘queued’ call. If I have an end user on the phone, attempt to queue the call through to another department and tick ‘stay on call’, if that department dont answer the call, we seem to be stuck in an eternal loop on being on the call to the end user and a beeping noise because the call is still queued in the background. If I hang up, the end user goes into the queue on their own to the department that aren’t answering. The only way for the call to end is for the end user to end the call. I simply want to be able to cancel the requeue and stay on the call with the customer.

Please migrate to the JWT grant type.Which is starnge because I selected the JWT flow when creating it and I’m using the provided script. Could I please get this looked into or advice?

I am initiating two calls via the RingCentrall Call Out API. Once both calls are connected (one active, one on hold) the user will start the conference call from the RC Phone app. Should information about the conference call be available somewhere in the call records? Right now, I only see call logs for the two calls I made and no conference call.

This is a long shot but I'm going to ask anyway! We are about to start using a Answering Service. That will mean our main number will be simple forwarded to a random local number, and then the agents will route calls to our DIDs directly.One thing that has come up in conversation is the capability for the agents to page people. Is there anyway that they can call the IVR enter in a code or extension and then broadcast a page (rather then being at a desk phone or using the RC mobile app, pressing *84 and broadcasting their message). They will not have access to a desk phone or RC app. (Being able to call the IVR would be the best option). 

How to provision a Mitel 480G/485G with Shoretel firmware (v802/803) to ringcentral These phones are now supported on RC with autoprovision phone per (https://support.ringcentral.com/article/certified-supported-deskphones-ringcentral.html#mitel). However, the instructions given by the RC admin portal wizard and also on https://support.ringcentral.com/article/assisted-provisioning-mitel-deskphones.html will not work if your phones are on older shoretel firmware. I spoke with Mitel SIP phone support and here are the steps that worked. We’ve been getting some errors reading call logs from the ring central API. One thing I wanted to try was updating to the most recent API. But when I upgrade the nuget package, I receive errors about AccountCallLogSyncResponse missing. I searched through documentation for release notes, but couldn’t find anything. Is there a document that helps?

My agents are using MAX agent nice in contact to process calls. I was surprised to find that there is no automatic feature to mask sensitive information such as Credit Card numbers in calls. considering this is such a huge breach in security and confidentiality, I am surprised that we have to rely on agents to personally mask sensitive information on a call - instead of having it done automatically. Is there an existing feature that I could not find?

As of last Friday, my agents started receiving an error message when they try to log out of the queue.“Sorry, something went wrong on our end, we weren't able to update the queue call settings. Try again later.” Does anyone know why or have a solution for this? Please help!

My client had a billing issue and explained he had tried to contact sales and support several times, only to be placed on infinite hold. When he did get an agent, was told there are 86 calls in the billing queue.  The rep offered to leave a message for call back, and no one returned the call twice.  I was on the line for 30 minutes with an agent who could not help and offered to transfer me to the billing queue, assuring I would not lose the place in queue.  Waited another 10 minutes with silence, call still connected but no one ever returned.  Since this has been ongoing for several weeks we are aware of, is this the proverbal writing on the wall that RingCentral  “used to be” the best for customer support?  I have been on hold for billing department now for 1.5 HOURS!
