I have both RingCentral and Google Calendar (we use G-suite) installed in my Android Work Profile (using Android 8, Samsung S8).When I click a phone number in Google Calendar, it automatically dials via RingCentral. Other apps launch my default phone dialer. I have cleared all default apps from Calendar and RingCentral, but can't seem to prevent this behavior.I would prefer that my standard Phone dialer is used for all phone numbers from within the Work Profile.Any suggestions?Best,Marc

I have a RC Office Premium account. I am trying to set it up so that if someone calls in and presses 1 for sales, my desk phone rings first and if I don't answer, the call goes to an external number (answering service).I do not want all calls to my desk phone forwarding to the answering service, only callers who pressed 1 for sales and then I didn't answer in time.Since call queues do not let you no-answer-forward to an external number, RC support created a new "Extension" in the users tab (Sales, ext 1) and set up call handling rules to first ring my ip phone and then go to an external number.My question: will I be billed extra for this?I have read many forum posts about RC's deceptive billing for non-device/non digital line extensions. There was a RC update last night to the app on my computer. Now the calendar icon that used to at the bottom right is no longer there. Is there a way to put that back? That is the icon I use the most from that bottom row of icons.

How do I consistently receive the option to rate calls?I recieved a notification on my desktop once (in the last two weeks) to rate the call. I would like to be able to provide that feedback consistently. I believe it would result in more accurate analytics. I've looked through settings and do not see the option to receive this request with each call. A representative said this is not currently a function. However, I experienced it - so it does exist.

Trying to change the Presence numbers on my desk phone (VVX 411). The changes take and show while in the configuration setup online (https://service.ringcentral.com/application/settings/settings/phonesAndNumbers/phone), but don't make it to the actual phone whenever I select a reset of the phone to push those changes. Any thoughts?

Call Queue Settings

We want to enable photo sharing in Glip, but not file sharing.The audit and governance around Glip is not enough for us to enable colleagues to share files through Glip and instead we will be using Teams and Sharepoint.. However, we do have use cases strong enough to allow photo messaging between colleagues or within a group/team.How do we enable photos without enabling files?I can see in the admin portal an option to enable sharing files from mobile/PC but I'd like to separate these out and have colleagues able to share photos and access camera only.Is this possible?We are in the UK - may make a difference as we seem to have more limited functionality over here for some reason :-(

If I park a call using the mobile or desktop app I then cant retrieve it from the web phone (Chrome extension). I can dial the parked extension (e.g. *803) but get a busy tone. Any ideas? If I dial the parked extension from the mobile or desktop app I can retrieve the call from there so I dont think its a presence or permission issue. Any help would be appreciated.

Hey RingCentral,So I have a question that the people at the top of my organization are asking me. We have a decent number of people that travel overseas and are using the RingCentral Phone App as their primary means of communication. A couple of our users have extremely long business calls and are in and out of WIFI when these calls happen. I am wondering on the data plan usage that the RC App uses. If I take an hour call how much of my data plan have I used up?Thanks a ton in advance!

How do I retrieve all my customers and phone numbers from your cloud so I can text them. I uploaded my customers when I started with you and we could instantly see them on all our phones. Any new customers since then can be seen by all phones but are not on my customer list in RingCentral Contacts

Hi folks... So I recently purchased an Apple Watch -after making certain a number of months ago that indeed Ring Central DOES support this device... only to find out today that Apple Watch is no longer being supported. I contacted my account manager, who put me in touch with tech support, who then spoke with the Integration Team and apparently there's nothing to be done, even though users who currently have the App can continue using it, just no new downloads are available.I'm an owner/operator of a small service business in Canada and the MAIN REASON I got the frikken watch is so I could easily monitor inbound messages from my wrist without having to fish out my Iphone each and every time a new message pushes through!Questions: 1. Why isn't this important app being supported, and 2. When will it be re-integrated?~Nathan

We are upgrading the RingCentral phone app across the enterprise using SCCM and are looking for a way to tell if there is a call in progress before uninstalling the old version. We've had some success using the Win32_PerfFormattedData_PerfProc_Process WMI class, but it's a little janky. Is there a better way to tell if there is a softphone call in progress?

Everybody in our company has both emails with the previous company domain (eklektik-web.com) and the new one (outsourcify.net), they are used as aliases in Gmail for Business so both work as email addresses.We use Glip since 5 or 6 years, before it became RingCentral. I had created my account with the old domain name but all our new employees since use the new one. I add them myself in RingCentral Glip right after creating their email address.Until recently I could choose "add guest as co-worker" for co-workers signed in with a different domain name as mine (which is also the company's domain on Glip).I can't anymore. We have a mainly mobile workforce using the Ring Central App (Glip app) on mobile phones in the UK.We have scenarios where an employee will call an external contractor then need to link other internal employees into the call. We are trying to set up a video call in our boardroom using a PC to handle the camera and video (displayed on a large wall mounted screen) and a conference phone for the audio (dial in). It all works but there is quite a noticeable delay between the video on the PC and audio on the conference phone.Is there a way to adjust the the latency to try and sync the the two devices?
